This was *tremendously* helpful!THE best video on black inks, hands down! The length was ideal also- plenty of information given but without all the inane yammering that's so common in similar videos by others.

WHOLE-heartedly agree on ALL counts. Well, maybe except the conclusion. Even though this hobby seems to have passed its hay-day, I am glad to see that Ink makers are NOT resting on their laurels. And, thankfully, there are "seasoned" stampers still willing to go on UA-cam to educate us newbies. My sincere thanks to you both for the valuable info.

This is why I always check your blog first when I need to know something! I have been using memento or Ranger but now I think I may have to give Gina K a try. Thanks Kat your'e awesome sauce!
Excellent, quite helpful review! Thank you! I wish more of the ink companies would label their inks more clearly as to whether one can use alcohol-based, water-based, colored pencils, etc., with their inks SUCCESSFULLY. It all comes down to chemistry, and that's what people need to understand, but the ink companies could help with that. Also, just a note from my own experience: the Ultra Clean Stamp Cleaner is excellent. However, I find that it often leaves solvent on my stamps and in order to get a really good stamping after cleaning with it, I need to use a baby wipe to clean off the residual solvent to get a good image again. So, along with all the other variables in stamping such as paper, inks, stamp compositions, etc., cleaners can throw another variable into the mix. Thanks for all of your help on this. Cheers!

thanks for all your helpful info. I hate inks that stain my stamps. Do you know if any cleaner removes Stazon staining? I would love to use it on acetate, but won't risk staining my cute image stamps. :) TFS Hugs, Kristina
CraftyPaws I like momento it doesn't sin my cute stamps. I used staz on & never again because it stained my stamp & I just don't like the staining :/
+cindy90305 I'm kinda in a quandary as to why staining is such a big deal. I'm thinking it might be a BENEFIT in the case of clear stamps wherein you often can't tell what the stinking thing is!!!

Hi i am new to stamping & I use Ranger Archival acid free perment ink it stain my clear stamps I don't know which one to use when I'm doing my stamping I don't like the way it stain my stamps please help.
Any good die ink may stain your stamps but it does not affect the way they stamp. Staining is a good thing :)
