It has been a while since we have found a good folding arm drone around the $50 range that performed this well. Not to mention the 15-18 minute flight time!!!! We were pleasantly surprised with the Tianqu Visuo XS809S drone. We shouldn't have been surprised though because the last Visuo drone we had on the channel last year, the 8807HD, also performed well too. This Battle Shark drone reaching over 15 minutes of flight time is just incredible, and that is why it should earn a spot on everyone's RC wish list!! Coming in around $50 this camera drone performed great! You can also purchase upgraded camera versions and extra batteries for not too much more! This would definitely be a great beginner drone for anyone because of the altitude hold. We really like this one and think it is a MUST HAVE!

I bought this drone after watching this review. It's my first drone and it's great. Very stable in the air and easy to fly. It's nippy and responsive. Camera is ok but the feed lags a lot so couldn't really fly it with a vr box. It's light and gets battered by the breeze. I'm very happy with it and would also recommend as a first drone. HI I used to fly a 2 cycle J-3 Piper Cub. 6 ft wingspan back in the 90s. It was so fun. Man has time changed everything. I just got my DJI Mavic 2 Pro, first drone so wish me luck. GREAT JOB and EXCELLENT Channel!

Visuo is digging out its own niche in low cost drones and actually setting the bar higher, forcing hi price makers to rethink their pricepoint and or focusing on their offers...that's good stuff! Hoping you guys have decided against stopping your reviews of low cost drones because they are important...it helps those who dont have n arm and a leg to pay for a decent flyer!!

I just recently lost my micro drone (20$)to strong enough wind for it. So I saw this one on your channel, ordered it and I am having a ball with it! Flying a micro was a challenge, but good experience for a bigger one. I even purchased an extra battery for it by Aimik on Amazon. I love it so much I'm ordering more batteries and another Battle Shark for my friend. Thanks for the great reviews!

Better life than what I bought over a year ago after watching you review and recommend
World's Cheapest GPS Camera Drone - Hubsan 502E X4 that gave around a 12 minute flight time. Sad to say I went through 3 motors within 3 months of light flying and retired it and am now looking for a brushless motor quad for longer motor life.
I got one of these for a friend's 12yr old daughter who'd had a fly-away with another type and I managed to get few flights when I showed her how to use it. She's already up to doing some minor proximity flying. Flight time (and yes spare batteries _are_ available and cheap) is great for beginners because they have plenty of time to get used to it.
The only fault for me is how and where the video saves as you need a fair bit of space on the phone

Have you ever flown with birds? Ive flown with hawks,osprey, and sparrows/swallows with no problems, the key is dont panic,act like prey,make sudden stops or movements,or fly near nesting/feeding areas. I even raced a mile to catch a flock of ducks flying across my view in hover mode

My personal goal is to have precision flying of drones. I was gifted a holystone HS100 but returned it because I wasn't confident and I didn't want to ruin it. I scaled back and got a much smaller drone Syma X5UW and I'm having so much fun with it. It was super affordable and very durable so far. I can't afford DJI hobby grade drones so I'm hoping to get any affordable and reliable drone in a few months hopefully during or after holidays seasons. I've had RC boats cars helicopters but the drone experience is new and fun
Great quad. I wish they would add the visual positioning to and a stabilized camera. Would be a steal in the $100 range if they did that. Good range of rates and it will handle some wind in rate 3.

The Drone can be purchased from Gearbest with 1, 2, or 3 batteries. There are batteries all over eBay & Amazon but they are the 900 mAh old generation from the previous model drone, not the 1850 mAh supplied with the BattleShark..

I just ordered a Spark. I’m excited to get it and start flying but I have to wait a few days for it to be delivered. It will be my first non toy drone. I started in the hobby 30 years ago with RC cars but got back into the hobby and into drones largely because of your channel. I have bought 2 toy drones that you had recommended. The S9 (mini spark) and the 8807 which is very similar to the Visio. If I were to get into planes I would get that gps plane you showed on the channel a couple of weeks ago. I’m a big fan of technology and the tech that went into that plane is just awesome for beginners and I loved that the plane would grow with you as you learned to fly it you could put it in a more advanced mode. Blew my mind! 🤯 I would love to see more tech like that plane on your channel.

Don't have to worry about batteries, their selling packages with 1, 2 or 3 batteries plus it's on flash sales, great deal.
BTW, the lights are so bright we could see them in the video, another first. LOL

K, cuz just bought a very small syma, very close to what you tested a little while ago, from Costco. But the range is bout 50ft. So figured would work with both. Not planning on any more than line of sight. That's fine for me.

You guys really should do a shootout with all the "Best $xx " ($50, $100, whatever) drones that you have reviewed in the past. I'm curious if development has improved drones in all aspects or if there are some older drones that are still standouts.

Urg. You guys are killing me. I just pulled the trigger on a Drocon Dc-014 yesterday for under 50.00 on Amazon. It looks like it's pretty much the same drone and 720p cam. The only difference is the battery is only 450mah as opposed to 1800mah. Oh well 5 minute flight times it is. The only thing I don't like about these toy drones is the proprietary batteries. I have plenty of single cell and two cell li-po batts and a really good charger. It would be nice to use that for faster charge times.

Wow long flight time, I hope the motors are built to handle long flight time!! Hey I've seen some A-10 Warthogs with actual sounds and cannon sounds! Yeah gas planes are exciting to watch!
I've heard from quite a few people in the comments here that they have flown theirs a lot with no issues. Haven't heard from anyone yet about problems with the motors or anything for that matter.
Also if you're getting a lag in your video make sure you have your Bluetooth turned off on your phones that can cause lag in a video I've already experienced it and proved it it does take the lag out of it most of the time don't know if that helps you but I sure hope so have fun flying and thank you for the video.
Just had the maiden flight today, with mine. It's quite bouncy off walls. I should've looked into how the prop guards fitted it more. Now I've got a hairline crack in a blade :(. Luckily, got 4 spares. Just need to work on flying it, pointing in my direction. I lose control tat way. Pointing away is alright.

Next year I will own a Mavic. This year I'll own a couple bugs, and many minis. And probably one of these, it looks like a Mavic.
Well as my UA-cam channel is growing I am starting to want to get some aerial views of maybe cars and different exploration sites. And then that got me to buy my first GPS hold drone. Next I have now ordered a racer because I'm starting to get into this Hobby. Thanks for the good work guys

Visuo is putting out some reallly good quality toy folders! I just got this one myself! Crazy good bird and 18 minutes of flight time? WiFi FPV is..well, WiFi FPV : / They have a Mini 809 with a 7.4V battery and more recently a GPS version! I've been flying for a good while now and I get more enjoyment out of my toy grade birds! We will see how long that lasts. Picking up a DJI Spark next month. Going down to Florida in February.. Wisconsin can keep the ice and snow..lol! My Visuos and the spark will be in my back pack for sure! LOL Abby! ORGANIZED RC ROOM!!?? So, its not just me!! Gotta show my wife this video..HA!

Very much agreed my friend :-) I'll have to check out those other options you mentioned. I couldn't agree more about getting enjoyment out of cheaper birds more than expensive ones. It's much easier on the nerves knowing if you crash you are only out $50 or so instead of possible way more! I love my Spark, as you probably know already, and it's possibly one of my most enjoyable expensive drones to fly. I still get nervous when flying the Mavic, due to it's price point. Really nice drone. What is the maximum range in feet? Does it come in white or silver? I had a nice black drone that got caught in an updraft and sent it careening into a dense forest. After hours of searching, I never did find it but might have if it was white or silver. What would be great is if this drone (and others) had an internal emergency signal that goes off when the drone gets out of the range of the controller - OR - alternatively, automatically reverses course and sends the drone back into range. Maybe the more expensive drones have those features. One other cool idea would be to have the drone return to base when the flight time left is critically low. Certainly would be more useful than flipping the drone (which gets old fast).

I recently got this and love it as well. The only thing I dont like is how much it dips when full forward in speed 2 or 3. Is this normal? Other than that...lots of fun!

World models rambler 45. Its a nitro plane but it's one of my favorite planes. Flys awesome and looks great. It's in the realm of sport flyers. It's a tail dragger with retracts.

I bought this a while ago. Flies great though for some reason I couldn't fly very far without losing signal. I mean just a few yards. I run the antenna up and it improved slot. Also I tried WiFi on my phone n it didn't work well n lost connection right away. Fly's great other than that. I bought it w 2 batteries. Last way long. I want to learn to fly fpv this coming year as my goal.
So I presume you folks recommend Tianqu Visuo products in general, from the comments on this video and the reference to the "best of 2017" model. I followed your link to GearBest and they have several, including the XS812: under $80 for 720p, 1 battery - and a 1080p version with 3 batteries under $100. States 14+ minute flight time. By the way, a bit late on my part but congrats on the addition to the RC Family! Love you guys, great work on all your vids. I purchased two Dromida planes and the Rise Vusion race quad based on your reviews. I also have a Yuneec Typhoon G, which I love. Any thoughts on the Typhoon H?
The 8807 ist no visuo, as you guys said yourself, when you compared it to one last year 😉. Actually I bought it cause of your recommendation and just now am in the process of tinkering with it so it will take a bigger battery. All the best to you three!

Looking for cheaper drone to follow me on a ATV. We go through the woods with lots of trees so need collision avoidance and don't want to spend more than $200 to $500 range. 4K would be nice. Any recommendations?

One thing I wish you would have reviewed was the FPV distance. I may have missed it but it seemed you just flew very near to the canopy.
Looks like a cool camera drone but I found the bugs 3 for the same price which is another drone icing on your channel you said was a good drone and I think I'm going to like it I'll just have to add an fpv camera and I'll be happy with it I think

I have one of these in one of the trees in my back yard. It's been there (I can't see it) for over a month. I would recommend putting some bright stickers on the quad as it blends into the fauna quite well.

This is Perfect for one of my goals this year get "Eyes in the Sky" for my Search and Rescue Team,My Team and I use my "Tracking Dogs" to find lost pets in Central Arizona this would fold up and fit in my back pack so I have this with me in the Field,is it available in a package that would include 3 batteries ?

What do you guys think of the Sanrock X105W drone? I bought one from amazon under 70 dollars and cant get the camera to work with phone after downloading the app. It does have a long flight time of 15 minutes.

My son got me into drones, but the problem is with me is, a lot of drones call for iPhones and I have an android Galaxy 10+. The drone that my son gave me was a Breeze and the only way to fly it is through an iPhone. But I did buy a drone that is android compatible. Soooooo, I'm just starting out and want to be good at for outdoor functions. That is my wish for this year.

Good question. So far, we haven't seen any signs of wear on this drone, and yes we still have it and fly it occasionally. This one sits proudly on my desk actually :-)

I started this hobby indoors with an EACHINE H8 mini my step son said was good for beginners. I've flown fixed wing before, so I at least had the feel...I thought it was a little touchy. then after mastering it I found out It's not so good for beginners.
I imediately bought a SYMA X5C-1 and enjoyed flying it. 2 problems - very light in the wind, short flying time.
I really appreciate your videos, and no-holds-barred reviews.
