You missed the most important part - the tea floor. And if you have time, I'd highly suggest tea in the diamond jubilee tea salon (you'll need a reservation). It's a bucket list item and worth every penny to experience it at least once. I've been madly in love with fortnum's for at least a decade or longer. They have incredible teas.
Fortnum and Masons invented the scotch egg (boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat and breadcrumbs). If I ever go, thats what I want to buy there. Been to Harrods a couple of times but never here
In all my 77 years I have never been to Fortnum and Mason so thank you for introducing me to it. I have always thought of it as an elite shop and not for the general public. I have no idea where I got that from and I have in the past visited Harrods, no different really.
@@MikeintownWhy should your disparaging remarks be forgiven? You come face to face with a different and unfamiliar culture and your comments disclose a ‘closed’ mind. Maybe it would be better to take more time to learn about British culture and customs and broaden your mind instead of being so judgemental….

OK, thanks! I like tea myself, so it would have been nice to check it out.

Odd, you make drinking wine sound like having an alcohol provlem 🤭
So puritanical. Bizarrely judgemental. Humans throughout the world for thousands of years have produced and consumed alcohol.

Sure, thank you for stopping by and checking it out!
I hope you go. There's lovely treats to be had and also I'd highly recommend their teas.
I like your sense of humour 😂
Thank you very much!
😮 You sound somewhat dismissive of our liking for "alcohol" / "alcoholic beverages" 😮 😞
Forgive my sense of humor and please have a pint for me. Cheers 🍻
