This is one of the most luxurious food stores in all of Europe, selling the finest goods at some eye watering prices. Their Christmas store is simply incredible, so let's take a look! This store is on Piccadilly in central London.

For those who can't visit F&M in person, Hannah's tour is most definitely the next best thing
I'm laughing out loud, Hannah. "Crackers for rich people." "You need to sort yourself out" when talking about the crazy price of paper plates. This all said, F&M is my favorite for a to-go lunch to eat at a nearby park.😍 Thank you for going to share their 2023 Christmas set up.
Yes! I think Hannah’s comments are hilarious! I love watching these videos.
As us Londoners say: “You’ve got to admire the cut of Hannah’s jib,” makes for entertaining and honest commentary ❤
I worked at Fortnum's in the late 1970's and it was a real eye opener to excellence and style. Not just the vast array of quality produce and stock, the staff also were scrupulously selected and trained to serve the public courteously and well.
The smell of fine food, cheeses, freshly ground coffee, cured meats and confectionery drifting up from the Food Hall was unforgettable, even 40+ years on.
Institutions like Fortnum and Mason remain the benchmark toward better standards in food retail throughout the UK and their influence is everywhere today for the discerning shopper.
Even for those on a modest budget, there's something in Fortnum's for everyone.
Shame the standards don't extend to their St Pancras branch. I went in there and the staff member on the till was far too busy having a conversation with her friend (another staff member) in a corner to pay attention to customers waiting at the till. Took a third staff member to come out of the back room to get her to do some work, and she didn't even apologise for keeping me waiting. Had better service in Poundland.
@@okwrite7120 Sorry to read that. Personally, I've never seen any staff in Poundland other than cashiers who speak little English.
@@okwrite7120 So, you had one unfortunate encounter when you shopped there so the entire store gets painted w/the same brush? What a shame.

Merry Christmas 🎄
God Bless us, every one!
Absolutely agree. I’m in NYC and there’s nothing here that’s as fabulous as F&M. I can’t wait to return to London to pop in!
Thanks for taking us on this walkabout to Fortnum's 5 Floors of Christmas! Tuesday's with HANNAH are as delightful as the Friday's!!❤
Being a gay man with an eye for fashion myself, Hannah looks very stylish when she did that piece to camera in front of the mirror halfway up the staircase from the side entrance ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for taking us back to 23 years of the greatest store in London brought by the best presenter of vlogs. My son is disabled and the highlight of his life is when Hannah Ricketts presents a new vlog especially of F&M. Thanks Hannah.
Highlight of his life, how sad.
It is becoming a Christmas tradition to follow Hannah around the luxury department stores of London. I love It!
Some day I am going to say, “Hang the expense” and treat myself to a Fortnum & Mason hamper of goodies 😊
Thank you Hannah for allowing Canadian’s to see the beautiful Christmas of London. I thoroughly enjoy every one of your vlogs! 🥂
You are so welcome!
I love F & M. The bottom floor has a lovely selection of wines, imported artisan cheeses, meat and produce. I honestly believe that shops like F & M, Harrod’s, Marks & Spencer and Harvey Nichols need to expand and open shops in the US. There is a pent up demand for British tinned biscuits, tea, and condiments by Americans.
Well, you can buy certain F&M hampers through Williams-Sonoma. Then there's Brands of Britain and British Food Shop that sell UK (and even some other EU imports) stateside and the shipping is very reasonable. I buy the Tiptree jellies and preserves and fruit curds through Brands of Britain. That said, I would still very much welcome Harrod's and Harvey Nichols and Fortnum and Mason to the US. 😊
I dont know if this would work in the US? It would have to be in NYC.
@@robertweisberg5570I think that in select American cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, a smaller F&M than the one in Piccadilly London I feel would be a hit. There is an F&M in Hong Kong. There’s no reason that Fortnum and Mason would not be able to succeed in America.
M&S tried the US market but failed so its online clothes only, I know they did have a select few xmas biscuit lines in Target but were extremely expensive compared to in the UK.
And Canada
I'm so happy that I found this channel, and that there are people who enjoys looking at cute stuff in beautiful stores as much as I do. Thank you so much Hannah!
Thank you so much!!
A department store here in Australia has a tiny selection of Fortnum and Mason items but if I was very rich, I would fly to London just to do my Christmas shopping at the proper store. I love it. Thanks, Hannah.
We are LOVING the extra "Hannah" Christmas VLOGS.
The UK does a lot of things well, but they do Christmas very, very well! Wonderful, as always Hannah!
I literally went to Fortnum’s yesterday and couldn’t catch my breath, there were so many people!
Fortnum's is as busy on a week day as it is on a normal weekend, at this time of year
At Weekends it goes into Overdrive, sheer madness 😂
It's my favourite store in London by miles
I am loving these Christmas videos! Fortnum & Mason does it up right! Magnificent.
Those old fashioned Christmas cards are like the ones my Mom sent out in the 1950's! So stinkin' cute!
You are always so enthusiastic. You could even make the telephone directory sound interesting!
I love 'Victorian' style decorations too and the 80s stuff also makes me laugh cause it reminds me of my childhood!
Hi Hannah - being Irish and living in the U.K. myself, I find this fascinating, having worked in supermarket retailing for 30 years at age 53 - at most, M&S or Selfridges is the most I’d aspire to, but even then the prices are insane - the earlier video that you did of that other big American chain here in the U.K. was far more affordable by comparison and yes, I do believe that F&M is better than Harrods
Canadians watch as well! I love what you do!
Love the dancing puddings!
The classiest vlogger in the classiest places in London. Fantastic Hannah 🎁
Came here to say exactly this!!😊😊😊😊 I agree!
Thanks for giving us the Christmas gift of two videos a week: especially having a full-time job and lots of responsibilities. Maybe that is why you are pushing 150,000 subscribers and it seems like a week ago you were celebrating 100,000!
Those picnic baskets are so cute !
Hi Hannah….your vlogs are becoming a super Christmas tradition!
I think F&M is my favourite store for Christmas.
Lovely window displays….and music.
Dancing Christmas puddings!
Really enjoyed your walk around the store.
Simply wonderful! Made my sister, mother, and I in Los Angeles absolutely delighted to watch. Thank you!
That wooden musical advent calendar is actually really nice to treasure for years
Well, never seen dancing Christmas puddings before. 🤣
I have to get to London for Christmas one day! You make seem so glorious! Thank you for taking us around the beautiful stores.
Wonderful time in F&M, loved it! However long you were in there, it was very much appreciated! ❤Oh, also love your nail colour...very Christmassy! 🎄🎄Thank you so much, lots of love Kathy x ❤
Přesně takové video teď člověk potřebuje .... vánoční výzdoba a roztomilé věcičky v obchodech potěší vždy oko každé ženy. Já si každé ráno otevírám adventní kalendář od Rituals a mám radost jako malé dítě.😀🌲Krásný předvánoční čas všem. Thank you for next amazing video.
Here in Perth Western Australia we go to David Jones, it stocks fortnum & mason. Always a gift for Christmas Love it
I think I was 16, when my mum took us there Enchanted was the word I would use to describe the Christmas display
Beautiful 🎄🎄🎄🎄
Loved your video! I always say "Put a fork in me! I'm done!" 😂😂😂❤️🎄⛄🎁
Tolerable? This tour was absolutely FABULOUS Hannah!, THANK YOU and MERRY CHRISTMAS 😊😄
“You need to sort yourself out...” 😆🤣
Absolutely delightful! Fortnum’s always has a visual appeal that’s very unique. Love seeing how they have decorated for the season. The brief image of the Dundee cake has reminded me to bake one soon. So many thanks, Hannah! I’m a little less of a humbug with these wonderful vlogs (I find myself looking at the holiday decor in the local shops more than usual). Looking forward to Friday’s episode!
Thank you Hannah for taking us along with you (and the Bonus videos for this month) 🤩🤩
Those Christmas ornaments that you were talking about from the 80's, are actually from the 50's. My mom had ornaments like that. When I was growing up they were on our tree. I'm not going to see how old I am but the ornaments had a decade on me.
I need to go to England for Christmas one year. I would enjoy every moment.
You really should, it’s incredible 😊😊😊😊😊
Very, very beautiful vlogmas Hannah!!! I am loving them all. You are doing an excellent job. Fortnum & Mason seems to be a mix of St.Claus' toys factory and the Wonka factory, full of gorgeeous Christmassy decorations and yummy choclate treats. Those Christmas windows with mechanical elements are amazing! It is simply impossible to see all those amazinng Christmas stuff and not want to buy everything you like. I wish you a wonderful Tuesday and week! Merry Christmas Hannah! Thanks for your beautiful vlogmas! 🎄🌟🔔🎁🦌🛷🎅🏻⛄❄💂🏻🇬🇧
20 days and I will be in London, I cannot wait. I already have my Fortnum and Mason shopping list
Thanks for sharing Hannah.
Love Fortnum's. This was a brilliant vlog, Hannah! You did a great job discreetly filming it, and giving us the low down on all the gorgeousness in there!
WOW! So beautiful. Thank you Fortnum & Mason and Hannah Ricketts for the tour of this fabulous store.💓
Yay, 150K subscribers. Ive been watching this go up daily for months. Going much more quickly now, So happy for you.
Love when you go to Fortnums. It was amazing. Thank you for showing all the gorgeous things. I can only dream ❤
Fortnum and Mason is a great store even if NOT at Christmas but at Christmas it really is very special. I was there just before Thanksgiving (US), a few years ago, and they were putting out Christmas baskets and some other food items and it was all so festive. I'd love to be able to get there just before the holiday.
Oh, if you have never been to Fortnum and Mason and do get there, be sure to go to the ladies restroom. They have the loveliest soap and hand lotion. You CAN buy it. If you like Marmalade, their Blood Orange Marmalade is just sooooooooo good. I USED to be able to get it here in the US and William Sonoma and they don't carry it anymore. Sadness.
Hannah ... Crazy Crazy good.🎉❤🎄 Look forward to this every year. Thanks, fabulous.
I have been buying Fortnums stuff online, I've gone a tad crazy to be honest. Ordered a Christmas ham yesterday to be delivered on the 21st. I've spent years baking and doing everything from scratch. No more 😂❤
Thank you, Hannah!! I love Fortnum & Mason!! 😊❤
Thanks for bringing Christmas in London to me when I can’t go this year! London is the only city I love.
The food makes me salivate, but the prices make my eyes water! Keep the videos going.
I am so loving these vlogs! It's really getting me in the Christmas spirit!
I cannot wait to go to Fortnum and Mason myself!!! It's gorgeous and I also do love the old school Christmas decorations much more than the modern style stuff.
Fortnum & Mason's is the classiest. The Christmas Wreath on the staircase was the most gorgeous I've seen this year! You did a great job, thanks Hannah. ❤ One thing I've noticed is how prices have increased from last Christmas. M&S Triple Chocolate Pannetone last year was 7.99, now it's 12.99. Has to be bought though as deelish! 🌿🌷
I love this video and I love your humor❤such a fan of F&M
I must visit London. Great video. My favorite part was the candy display in Christmas decorations. Marvelous
I have never seen such a beautiful looking store as this!😀 The window displays are spectacular! The old fashioned Christmas music warms my heart 😮❤ I would love to go here one Christmas 🎄 ❤
TOTALLY agree re the illustrations on the packaging! I LOVE their musical tins. I bought the Coronation one they released, it was stunning with a beautiful peacock.
Your video brought back memories of Christmas past. A time when families would place a Victorian tree as the centrepiece in the middle of the room, carefully decorating it with small bags containing everything from popcorn balls to chocolates and candy fruits, etc. On Christmas Eve, we would gather with family and friends, and during the festivities, you would wear a blindfold, circle the tree, and pick your treats. Along with some gag gifts, nothing too bad, but someone always got a bag of coal-a couple of BBQ briquettes wrapped up. And for those who are misfortunate to acquire a bag of coal there are dishes for you to do. These are fun times filled with laughter as a way of bringing people together before the celebrations of Christmas. Have a wonderful Merry Christmas and Happy New year everyone. 🤶🎅⛄🎄🎁
Hello,
Another awesome video! I agree with you…I love the vintage or Victorian ornaments or Christmas scenes. They remind me of seeing them on Christmas cards, movies as a child. A favorite in my home are Nutcrackers. My in-laws started collecting them for my son when he was a few months old. He is now 25 years old and he has about 200 nutcrackers and counting ranging in 3 inch high to about 4 feet tall.
As always, thank you for sharing 😊
Aw I love your videos Hannah, you can see how much effort you put into showing everyone these high end places - I would spend hours at Fortnum and Mason - well done 👏
That looked just magical!
How wonderfully lovely! Thank you Hannah this was so much fun as always.
Loved your comment about the cost of paper plates …. Who would buy them for £12 ! I agree. Laughed out loud
Thank you so much Hannah ❤ that was so much fun 🎄😊
Friends sent me a F&M hamper & whilst it was nice my jaw dropped at the price! To buy items individually from F& M would have been even more expensive but to buy the same type of items that you would want for a treat but wouldn’t normally buy for yourself was so much cheaper sourced from other stores. I find inspiration looking at beautiful stores but I don’t get myself in debt trying to emulate the rich. Once tea in in the teapot & biscuits are on a plate no one knows where you got them from! The biscuit tins whilst beautifully designed they are not airtight so I wouldn’t use them to keep biscuits in either!
Thank you Hannah for taking me with you to see all the lovely things in the store! The windows were the best!
🎅❤
Fabulous job filming Fortnum and Mason 🎄✨. Absolutely loved the video 💜
Went years ago to F & M…….it’s amazing still to me. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
I think Fortnums is a store you could shop in every day for a week and still find new things to talk about, especially in the run up to Christmas.
To fit into just over half an hour calls for some brutal editing know doubt.
Loved this whistle stop tour, done your own friendly way.
Looking forward to Friday and the rest of these Christmas videos.
Steve
Great video, well done Hannah! Fortnum and Mason is a wonderful establishment. I have spent many hours wandering around it,over the years. It is definitely a "must see" at Christmas. Superb!! A very merry, and peaceful Christmas to you and your Family.
As always thanks for making my day. Laughed at sewing kit in old tin :)
Hannah you really do an amazing job on your videos. My wife and I just love watching!!! We used to spend a great deal of time in London and you are definitely making us homesick!!
Maybe a trip next pre Christmas!!
Hope the rest of your life is going just as upbeat!!!
Merry Christmas!!
We like your sister as well!!!
You guys seem to have such fun together!!
Since you mentioned Charles food on sale at one of these stores I was reminded of the vegetable sandwiches I ate while visiting a spot, Lulworth cove, Bournemouth where Black Beard the pirate frequently landed. Someone mentioned that the veggies were grown in Charles garden. This was oh so long ago, before Charles married Diana! London has certainly gotten more expensive, more elaborate since that visit. Cheerio and Happy Holidays!
Hello Hannah, Love how you show us every detail in this store. I enjoy watching, it's like being right there. The decorations are beautiful. Once again thanks.
Looks like fun and so beautiful decorations ❤😊
Awe thank you that was amazing ❤
Great i really enjoyed that thanks
What a start to your visit hearing those clock chimes. Amazing!
19:00 All the colours look so bright and vibrant from your phone! A friend of mine visits F&M fairly regularly and it never fails to impress ☺️
Thoroughly enjoying the Christmas shops! We don't have anything like that here in California, you are satisfying a dream to visit England at Christmas time. Thank you for sharing Hannah!!
It's amazing the planning, time and effort that goes into the Christmas window decoration in some of London's store, mechanical windows especially. Paris stores similarly have elaborate mechanical decorations that draw crowds during the season.
Hannah, your videos are so enjoyable, I never miss one! Your enthusiasm is so obvious and contagious. I love watching people who are excited about their city and its attractions. Kudos for all your hard work! Merry Christmas!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks so much for the lovely video. You did a fantastic job. ❤
Yaaay! Thank you so much, Hannah for making Tuesdays a day to to look forward to as well! My mom and love seeing London through your lens and have been going back to watch your previous Vlogmases starting in 2019 while waiting for your Tues and Fridays video drops. Much appreciation and love for braving the Christmas crowd. Your filming was phenomenal, would not have known you struggled. I'd love to see the street decorations and storefront decos for your next vid ideas as long as it's not too chilly! Your cute family visits are such a treat to see as well. Thanks for brightening up our holiday season. Merry Christmas! 🥰
It was wonderful. Thank you for taking us along.
Thank you for the stroll through F & M. Very enjoyable. So much loveliness.
Thoroughly enjoy your videos. Sometimes I don't comment as much as I should. You are a rare gem. Loads of love to you and your wonderful family 👠👠👠👠👠🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Brill. Hannah, thank you 🙂
Thank you, Hannah. Another beautiful store video. 😊
It's always such fun to see inside my favourite store in the world.
What a wonderful tour!✨🎄✨ Loved it so much Hannah thank you for taking us around!❤
Big thank you Hannah.
Hannah what a terrific job sharing the incredible Christmas displays, products & sights of Fortnum & Mason in London! I agree with you that F & M is one of the most luxurious food stores anywhere! So many products, & the impeccable displays in every department!
Hannah, you did a great job of highlighting everything, as I am certain it is overwhelming to see in person! That store creates the concept of "Impulse Purchasing" by their impossible to resist displays! Thx again Hannah for sharing this amazing tour of F&M during the Christmas season! I also appreciate the Tuesday vlog as well! Have a great week Hannah, & I look forward to your next vlog on Friday!!!
When you said it was queuing in Primark , I giggled . That’s where I got my elf cardigan. Really well made and Little stockings added to it( plus Santa) .
It’s really nice to see how the other half shop.
You’re a delight to watch.
When you squeal like a 5 year old at the cute things lol
I’d be the same.
The display and all the care has it be admired.
I think the shops you’ve shown add to the Christmas spirit .
When my kids were little, me and hubby hubster used to take them to choose a bauble it hanging decoration for the tree. It was a yearly tradition.
Now they’re adults .
You’ve inspired me to get a few friends together next year to go to London purely to window shop.
Treat ourselves to an affordable tea. Maybe a pub instead.
Probably, a Wetherspoons lol!
Also, start saving up each pay day to buy ourselves a little Xmas treat from a posh store to treasure .
Thank you and your family and friends for going to these amazing stores so we can appreciate the marvellous products on offer xx happy Christmas to you all 🎅🏻🎄🎁X
I just love it when you take us shopping! Thank you for doing that.
Always love a visit to Fortnum & Mason! Thanks Hannah ❤
I bought a bunch of stuff from fortnum and mason and everything was of exemplary quality, 10/10 recommend!!
Thank you Hannah for touring us to F &M yearly. As if were with you this holiday season.
Hannah, how fun to go Christmas exploring at the iconic stores of London with you!
🎊 thank you again for sharing the walk around the store like you do. You are wonderful and do great 👍 talking to us about all the goods and gifts 🎁 Thank you 😊
Hello Hannah! I might be one of your newest subscribers and I just love your videos. I've been binge watching all weekend! You might find this boring, but relatable, even with me being American...haha! Your videos are a trip to my Christmas past, present and probably future too. I grew up in Paris as a little girl and the marzipan and things with a European influence bring back such retro memories specific to my childhood. Moving forward, I am definitely getting the Victorian feel from all the things your are pointing out. My children were little in the 80s and in the states, we also went through a period with all of that gold and red and velvet with feathers and Beatrix Potter everywhere. As a matter of fact, we made a trip to London in 1984 when my daughter was 2. I was obsessed with BP figurines and books and china, and I even decorated her room in a beautiful white and dusty pink with crisp white ruffled curtains in the windows. She even had a stuffed Peter Rabit on her bed with a big lot of other sweet stuffed friends! lol. Our family Christmas tree was a beautiful Norfolk Pine and it was covered with Victorian reproduction ornaments and pearls and bows and so much over the top lace and 1890s designs. I loved every minute of it while it lasted. The men in the house weren't too keen on it but they put up with it! Then the sad thing happened and retail took over to a more modern and garish color scheme...and Christmas wasn't the same for a while. I think my daughter actually was over saturated by it all, and really hasn't gone back...oh my gosh! (yes, I say that over here all the time too!) I love seeing you have a nostaligic feeling as you run across some of it. It hasn't taken over completely there yet, and we don't have much at all because you are the trend setters for that sort of thing. But, I thought it would happen soon because it's been about 35 years since it was in fashion and that's about the cycle for things to go in and out of fashion. Thank you for such a wonderful trip of memories during this Christmas season Good luck to you and I will watch for much more to come! (PS...we bought my daughter her first Paddington Bear at Harrods that same trip...and a Cabbage Patch doll because they were all sold out in the states where we live! I'm really dating myself!
