When I saw this set of quilters luggage at the quilt show, I couldn't get it out of my mind. I've had my current machine carrying case for over 15 years. It's a little too small, and not made of the best stuff. So when I saw what was available from Tutto, I knew I had to give it a try.
I am happy to say that the luggage is exceeding my expectations. Not only is it sturdy and made very well, but it also collapses so that when I'm not using it, I can put it away in my studio without taking up so much room.
I ordered the large sewing machine on wheels and matching embroidery project bag. They travel very well together and allow me to bring all of my supplies with me and keep them organized as I sew at quilt camp.
You can find out more about Tutto sewing products at their website.

I just found an XL Tutto at a yard sale for $50 and it fits my Janome 7700! Thanks for the tutorial.

I purchased my first large machine case over 10 years ago at a quilt expo. The following year at the expo I purchased the XLarge, the embroidery arm holder. The serger bag, and a medium one. All in purple. During that year at classes and retreats a lot of my fellow Quilters bought them. Now once a month we have a “sleep at home” retreat and about 35 of us get together. Almost everyone of them have one or two carriers. Love, love them! I did wear out the wheels on one of my roller cases, and I called them and had wheels within the week!

That pocket you said would be good for your wallet is for your crochet needles That’s funny. I guess your not a crochet or knitter. But that’s ok. Quilting is a full time hobby in itself

I wonder if one could get extra bars across the bottom could be welded on to give better support for a machine stored within.

Very useful information, thank you very much. Can’t help questioning the need for the background ‘music’ though.

It looks very solid and sturdy, with plenty of space. However, I'm concerned with it falling over on its side when being pulled. How does it feel to you when you pull it with the machine inside?

Beside the wheels are must-direction, it can turn very easily. In fact I would have to try really hard to make it flip over sideways.

+Sam Garofalo I am still using mine and still loving mine. I love the way the wheels allow you to turn it in all directions easily. It makes it so much easier to move around than my old one.

I have one of these cases and I have been storing a Janome 2015 sewing machine in it in my sewing room. I just discovered that the bottom is all pushed out and is almost dragging on the ground. The support on the bottom is not good. There are no cross bars for support.
There is no warranty on this bag so I am stuck with it. My recommendation is to NOT store your machine in the bag.

Valerie Martinez, I lined my case with a foam insert to protect the machine. I've used the foam insert for several years with no issues.

I am thinking you won't be taking your embroidery unit since you are filling the small tote with fabrics?
I would like to see how the unit will fit in the smaller unit, using all the velcro dividers..and stuffing fabric along side. :)

+Robyn Williams I don't know about your model, but this is a big bag and will fit most big machines. They are often shown at the larger quilt shows.

It doesn’t look as sturdy and padded as the Bernina XL Trolly and Module case. No way would input my Bernina 880 plus in that flimsy looking case.

sheesh an airline would break it in a minute.....the spring loaded clips on the attachable handle are sure to break off fast. Nope not worth the HUGE price.

Would you put your sewing machine in the belly of a plane????
