Hi sir, I checked my boot lid wiring the left rear reverse light and the tail end parking light is out on the same lense but fog light works, error reads open circuit I've checked the wiring past the rubber sleeve to chassis it's all fine looks to be the frm then.
@@Knight-ph7ii Hi , yes unfortunately the car has had over 50 turns of the ignition whilst the fault has been there which has bricked the FRM. If you get hold of the BMW software which is free online, you can reset the counter from 50, to 0 which should clear the fault light unless the fault is still there of course. Good old BMW 😂

Thanks for the advice this all started when the recent clutch was changed by a numpty garage who caught the reverse switch cable between the bellhousing and gearbox so was shorting hence the reverse lamps staying on so I removed the bulbs and drove around till got someone to loosen the box to remove the cable once that was OK I reinstalled the bulbs only the rear right came on.
Sir, I have the same problem on my Bmw e60. I have no reverse light when I put the gear on R. Automatic gearbox! The pdc come on but not reverse light. I don’t get any code for that on my screen. I have scanned the car and get LM short cirut in the lamp. But it cloud be my fog light or eyebrows on the headlights that is not working. It don’t say what is.
When I activate the reverse light they come on for 15sec like yours. Will this be activated even if the wire is damaged ? I did not understand that part, how the scanner activated reverse light, Please help what should I do to fix that issue,

Hi, mine never came on at all, I suspect a bad wire , trace your boot wiring hopefully you should find an obvious break 😊
