BMW 5 Series E61 / 3 Series E91 Remote Central Locking Not Work Diversity Module Receiver Wiring Fix

Here we have a very common fault on the BMW 3 series (E91) & 5 series (E61) - The remote controls for the central locking not working although batteries & fuses are all ok, no fault codes are logged in the car - The fault is usually either the remote receiver or 'Diversity module' as its commonly called which is fitted under the rear spoiler, is either water damaged or in most cases the wiring loom in the rear hatch has got some broken wires at the hinge point - Here we show a common fault area & repair. this may also be common on other BMW estate cars / hatch backs which have the diversity module fitted here.
