I’m so glad! If you don’t care about brand or already have android products I’d go w galaxy. My dad has a galaxy and it’s super compatible w his phone!
Hey nice video! I was just going to ask, but I currently have the surface pro 7 and I love to use it when I am taking notes. However, I recently purchased a MacBook and so I also want to transition over to an iPad and stick with the apple ecosystem. Only concern is about the switch, especially with the pen and pencil. With the surface pen, I am able to erase like I would with a traditional pencil, but I know that the Apple Pencil has a double tap feature which is used to erase, so my question: did you get used to using the Apple Pencil or is it annoying?
In my opinion it’s annoying I hate it. I have a surface that I still use for some stuff and I prefer the pen. With my iPad I never use the double tap feature bc you have to hit it pretty hard and my thumb never hits that hard so it never works. I wish I could press the top like an eraser or something LOL
@@ManjarithePandicorn thanks for replying really fast! And ooo okay I was worried about that. I might just purchase it and see if I like it and if not then I will just stick with my surface or go for the surface x, idk yet, but thank you so much!
@@kathleenjaime1359 yeah honestly that was my mindset. For me I love the iPad, I just wish there was way more features with the pen honestly the pen is so limited especially compared to non apple products. I also really like it because it syncs well with my MacBook and iPhone and I also tend to use the iPad more. It works really well for submitting assignments directly to canvas. Also has an amazing battery life (if that doesn’t matter I think you’d be happy with the iPad 8). My iPads battery life is amazing tho I really appreciate not having to charge it and using it a lot of the day (9am-11pm- I mean I’m not using it 24/7 but my surface pro 7 would def have to be charged multiple times for a similar amount of use).
@@ManjarithePandicorn omg I FEEL YOU!! 😭 I have to charge my surface so many times and it heats up kind of fast. And it hasn’t even been a year. But yeah I will definitely keep what you said in mind! Thank you again!
@@kathleenjaime1359 Omg yes the back of the tablet has burned me on many occasions! Doesn’t happen with the iPad! Good luck and let me know if you need anything else (:
@@ManjarithePandicorn yes goodnotes allows you to do this. very helpful because you can import a textbook in goodnotes, highlight it on the left side of the screen then you can handwrite the important notes from the textbook on the right side of the screen.
hi!i love your video, btw i’m an engineering student i’ll usually use laptop for tasks,i’ll use ipad just for light drawing, netflix, note taking and play some games,do u think 64gb enough for me?thaankss!
i think 64 prolly sounds good! you’ll prolly have to delete stuff after each semester or quarter or you can pay 99 cents to back up stuff every quarter if you wanna keep it
does it get hot easily? and does it have any latency since the screen is only 60hz? Im need to take note constantly so the screen is a big concern for me. Thanks
Not sure about latency but it doesn’t get hot easily. I use it nonstop all day and the back never feels got to me or burns me (compared to the surface pro which did constantly). Hope this helps!
Hi! I’m debating between the air 64gb and pro 128gb. I think the air is enough for me(just school, maybe play some games and watch netflix) but i’m afraid 64gb won’t be enough. Do you think 64gb is enough?
It depends. Because I used notability for notes and recorded lectures the space filled up fast so I am glad I got the 256 GB. I have many apps on the tablet rn (no games though- just hulu netflix hbo max etc.) and it says I have 224 GB available (I deleted all my notability notes since it's summer rn). I didn't wanna be constantly worrying about spacing and deleting so I am happy with my choice. if you'll take the effort to back stuff up you may be fine with jus the 64 gb
oh wait for real?? I thought it was just me cuz straight up I’ve nvr seen anyone else complain about the Apple Pencil 2 tips! What kinda iPad do you have?
Wait you can’t split screen apps? Because I thought you could, or is it only for like google tabs. Like can I open my lecture slides which are on canvas, and a note taking app and split screen those two?
I decided against the pro because most of the features would only benefit someone who does advanced digital art or coding. For size the 9.7 inch one has been great for me. I don’t think I’d need a bigger one plus I feel like it would get heavy. Hope that helps!
I don’t have the iPad 8 so I don’t know for sure but I don’t see why it wouldn’t bc there’s no difference in that regard between the 8 and the air 4. The iPad Airs main difference is camera, battery life, screen quality so I’m pretty sure it would be the same between the 8 and the iPad Air 4. You can always contact Apple to double check though!
make your iPad ur b*tch!!!!
Best iPad review video I’ve seen so far
Glad you enjoyed :)
ahh i've thought about getting an iPad just for note taking, so this vid definitely helped clear up my thoughts on it!
dude honestly get an ipad 8th gen if you just need it for notetaking! it's so cheap
I was thinking of getting an ipad or a Samsung Galaxy Tablet this was helpful to see about some pros and cons for the ipad

Thank you for this review! I was wondering, what’s the storage capacity of your ipad? Thanks
Happy to help! Mine is 256 GB but I know it comes in 64 as well
@@ManjarithePandicorn I was hoping you’d say 64GB lol, anyway, thanks so much!

You can split screen between different apps but you can’t have two canvas tabs open through the canvas app.
So you can have two windows open up in the apple notes app. I’m not sure about a pdf app, though

Yeah it works! You just Bluetooth connect it it’s pretty basic. I’ve only ever used Amazon cases and keyboards and they’ve all worked for me!
You can spit screen
Yes, on the ipad but not for multiple tabs in onenote which i wanted to do.
