Love this. Just bought an A7 II. One thing i would say it would be great to see the focal length and the aperture you use for the shots. Im not a zoom guy, but id love to see what you shoot the most
@@SchnellfeuerXD hey, it is a great camera but you have to understand the limitations with full frame before going in for it. hi man, i also have the a7ii, and i like to shoot street. i’ve been shooting film lately and considering switching to digital. i like to be discreet on the streets (small lens, small camera), and for that reason i will need to buy a small prime lens to go with my a7ii. my biggest concern is that the shutter is loud. i recall shooting with the camera, and people could easily hear me taking pictures. would you agree with me on that, or do you feel like the shutter sound is manageable? i could consider getting a fuji x100f for twice the price of the lens i’ve been eyeing, but idk appreciate it
Hey there! I wouldn’t really worry about the shutter too much, it’s definitely manageable unless you’re shooting in a closed environment. I would also recommend a lens like the Sony 40mm!!
Hello, I need an advise. I am going to buy a new camera and for the same budget I am deciding between the Sony a7m2k and the alpha 6400. I will use it for street photography and family pictures. Which one do you recommend?
I have a sony a7ii i realize that the focus isn't FAST like the newer cameras but I've never had a problem with focussing! but you seem to have a snappyish focus! what focus modes are you using?
Great video. I think I’ll be getting the Sony A7II this weekend. I’m rocking with an old Nikon d3100. So I’m in need of an upgrade. I don’t really have a style of shooting just take pictures of what looks nice. I’ve gotten nature, cars, pictures of the moon. So I’m really excited to head into the “street photography” world. Any advice on what to look for while doing street photography. Thxs in advance 👍
Congrats! And try to capture things that stand out and make you feel a certain type of way. The street photos that I think are the best are the street photos that show emotion!
Friends, I need your advice, I won this Sony model a7ii at the auction, new with kit lens, for 780 dollars, advise me, is it worth buying today 2023 year of this camera for this price
Hy! I decided to buy this camera about a week ago. I've been using a Nikon D5300 for the past 6 years , and about for 2 months I used it with a 50mm F1.8. Very crisp photos after the blurry and soft 18-200. Now the problem is , that I get the same with the Sony , with the 28-70 mm kit lens. I photograph trains , that is what I use the camera for. I might be very stupid , I am not ashamed of that , but the Sony had not yet convinced me. Could you help me in some way to figure out how can I get good results out of the Sony? What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance!
Check multiple things. Are you shooting in continuous AF? With wide focus area? Or you can always use select focus point which is what I sometimes use. And also is your shutter speed adequate enough for a moving subject AKA a train and what not. For a slow moving subject 1/250th should be fast enough but for more fast subjects then a faster shutter speed will help with reducing blur.
@@AmalForbes Thank you for your reply Amal! The settings I have used are 1/800 F8.0 ISO 200 ,AF-C and metering in multi and focus point wide. But when zooming in , it could be clearly seen that the numbers or elements on the locomotive are blurred. Also I was shooting at 50 mm.
hey bro, awesome video! how do you find the autofocus on the a7ii? looking to switch to full frame as I currently use the a6000 but have seen a lot of people say the AF is slow? i do alot of street photography so its mostly going to be used for that and portraits :) edit - Just found out I follow you on IG. i thought i recognised the editing style!

I’d recommend the 6400. The lenses are cheaper for APS-C. But if you want full frame, then the A7ii is a good starting point for Sony full frame
Hey Would love a update on your Sony a7II settings for Photography. PLEASE
Image quality:RAW
AF mode: Continuous
AF area: Wide or single spot

for photos???
It would be a good backup camera! But I would recommend the a7iii.
Amal, nice video! What profile picture did you use for this shoot?
Thank you! And what do you mean by profile picture?
Picture profile, i mean. Did you keep it off? Or did you use s-log?

I would save a bit more and buy a used Sony a7iii with a 50mm 1.8
Hey, love your pictures! Do you have any special settings that you use to take those incredibly sharp pictures?
Just need to have the right manual settings and the correct focus mode, then your photos should come out very sharp!

Continous Auto focus mode + Wide focus area or select focus point area!
How was the ISO, aperture set?
ISO was set with the dial wheel and aperture with the wheel on the grip
