Thanks! I didn't know about "MIDI de-solve parts" and I was just duplicating and erasing manually. I really like the 60% quantize tip as well as I would usually either hard quantize or not at all.
Lovin' it Stevie and trying to follow along. Like you, I'm a guitarist and I understand chords but I can't reconcile them with your keyboard interpretations of the chord progressions. I even tried entering them in using the Chorder but they don't sound anything like what you're playing (which is cool, btw.) Is you transposer on? What am I missing?
How do I add flams to chords? Are there logical editor presets for that? Please help me with this. I know the slice tool method but that's too time consuming over multiple midi clips without creating shared copies of those. A function like Q flam (Logic Pro X) would be really helpful in Cubase 13 or any other upcoming versions. Even a separate midi transform window would do wonders for us 😊
Cubase has somuch great tools. Sure i use alot of third party plugins to create a own signature sound. But if i only had one tool to make music cubase it is
I make Trance, Progressive, Chill, Uplifting, Hard etc. and I produce everything in Cubase, it's a beast! I learn every day new approach, so YES, Cubase is great for EDM! I really recommend to spare more time to learn Cubase, becose later you will have much more professional workflow.
@@jayhaldens9702 Sure, glad it helped. I myself was overwhelmed by the amount of Cubase features at first but now it's like a natural flow with time. 👍
This guy is an incredible teacher and totally relatable. Please use him more!
