My wife just said "I've never heard anything like that come out of you!". I added my own touches, but it was really your direction. My biggest wall is that I never know what to put in and I never know what sounds to use. I would purchase a master class from you 100%.
my boy here is a stellar teacher probably one of the best youve had (aside from greg he's like over level 9000). give the man some more videos ! great job Stevie B !
Your information and such is so wonderful and I'm glad that there is a pause but.ton. I feel like I need a couple of coffees and a caffeine pill so I can keep up, thanks.
Thank you and thanks to Cubase for providing this series! You're right...sometimes you get stuck doing the same things, so it's nice to get insight into how others work with composing and production. Also, I'm trying to keep in mind...less is more when it comes both the number of musical instruments that I use, and the amount of plugins that I COULD use. Best of luck!
Hi, A quick (silly, maybe) question. Why did you activate (Frequency EQ) Linear on 7th module on stereo bus? You changed nothing on that frequency band. Does that mean whole Freq eq plug-in being affected when you choose Linear mode on any frequency band? Great series! Thanks
I wonder what Steinberg will do @granular plugins and effects. Other daws and hardware are very competitive with the new hype granular...and basicly cubase effects and padshop aint competing against lets say ableton wich has like 10 diffrent plugins&effects. Chase bliss...hologram...sonicware...red panda...etc to name a couple. Also great tools for lofi .anyone else with me on this subject?
Brilliant track..one question though. In your mix down I noticed you didn’t do any low eq cuts except for the vocals but you see mix engineers constantly say cut all the lows out of everything except the kick and bass but you didn’t …did you not cut on purpose or is the low cut recommendation a UA-cam myth? Thanks

Great series - Steinberg - can we get Stevie B to do a second one covering a different genre? :-)
Really enjoyed this composing series. I learnt a lot and hope to see more from Stevie B here on the Cubase channel.

Awesome!!!❤❤
Can it be that YT is changing the volume? Sounds like it's overdriven. Or is that intentional for the lofi vibe?

when there will be folders?
That's a mix with no actual mixdown file for master? Mastering process was not shown. ? Incomplete...
