Purge valve is not as easy as you say. I just changed mine on traverse 2019 and it is hell to get to.
About how much money did you spend on the parts? And how much time did it take? Just got the error code a few days ago
2019 just had it happen here.

Every car is different. Mine is on top of my engine. Just the valve itself.
The bolt is very trick to put back for sure
The 2019 doesn’t have a gas cap…. Just saying.
