- SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London) and Bloomsbury Pakistan hosted a launch of Pakistan: Origins, Identity and Future with Dr. Maria Rashid as chair and Dr. Salman Khan as discussant.
Professor Hoodbhoy: The project Director of Chandrayan is not a Muslim. However, the Project Direector of Aditya-1 Mission is; Her name is Nigar Shahji. She is from Tamil Nadu.
Before mughals also "mostly unified" India was created, by Ashoka, Gupta dynasties etc. So, it is wrong to say Mughals created mostly unified India, for the first time.
A great effort by Dr. Pervez to educate my countrymen about Origins & identity of ourselves........ Being Pakistani, I strongly believe that there were lots of lies and wrong info pushed down our throat and made us believe that nonsense, a damaged & twisted history.............. We need more honest man's like you Dr Sahab ..... Salute to your sir.....

About Mughal Empire you stated that first time united India created, but this is not true.
Secondly during Mughal Empire they encouraged and build beautiful monuments but not give any emphasis on science and technology, if you compare the same period with Europe, where all scientific innovation are taking place during the time when Mughal rules in India, it is 16th century when our (entire Indian subcontinent) backwardness started.
As a scientist you should give emphasis on this issue also.

" Dolat" you are absolutely right in quran, it means money or like in urdu we saw "Paysa", it dose not carry the meaning of saltanat or ryasat, the word throne in arabic of quran is "Arsh" which is used with Allah or queen saba,

Muslims are doing great in India. They are in Indian every sports team. Almost in every field.
Many nations are based on the languages, geography or common economy. Pakistan is committing a huge blunder by not administering and educating in local languages.
Indian Railways plays a huge part in unifying India.
Population Control should be the top priority of Pakistan.
