You should get some of the original Black Falcon minifigures and create a Napoleonic style of "Old Guard" made up of veteran soldiers.
That be cool but wildly expensive compared to buying new minis and this is coming form someone who army builds and has 1700plus minis

I really appreciate that you didn't ad horns to the Vikings helmets being more accurate as they actually did not have horns in real life.

Damn I knew I forgot something. I was going to do a section highlighting Lagertha and shelled maidens went talking about the QUEEN!
I build a lion knight army off bricklink at around $6 to $8 a fig. Got about 100 of them only to find out PAB now has them for a lot cheaper. If I only waited as well lol. I even asked lego 3 months ago if they were going to add the lion knights and they told me “since the fig is exclusive in only one set we will NOT be adding them to PAB.” Anyways you should do lion knight army next

Dark Green would work well with the Viking ship. It will contrast the blue and brown, while sort of matching/complimenting those colors as well.

Should have gone with 4 ships, 2 with the navy colored sails for the blue shield vikings and 2 with red sails for the other warband.
Brickforge also does a great historically accurate Viking helmet

Fun fact: During the Middle Ages the Emperors of the Byzantines (Eastern Roman Empire) had Viking mercenaries that served as his personal bodyguards and shock troops during battle. They were called the Varangian Guard. So if you want to name your Viking Queen’s bodyguards something then there you go.
Although they should have a more reddish purple color to give them a more noble appearance.

Are the horse bardings no longer available on Pick a Brick? I really wanted to grab 5 or 6 of these beautiful pieces.
I found them as out of stock, do these ever restock or is it usually a one and done? Also what is the best way to keep track of new parts like this being added so I wont miss it next time?
@@RecurringAwesome just keep checking. If they're in the out of stock list.. that means that they will come back. Also they're in the LUG Bulk list for LUGS so... that's also a good sign.

Looks amazing, just a shame you haven't kept them all with the original yellow heads. The tan colour skin tones make minifigs look fake, not true Lego, but that's my preference. Awesome video 👍
Do you know how long pieces stay on Lego Bricks and Pieces? Did the Black Falcons appear on the site when the Medieval Blacksmith set was released? Lion Knights Castle was released in August and I think they just released the Lion Knight figs in January. Do you think we'll be able to buy these figs for a long time?

That's exactly why I don't like double sided heads.
They restrict the customization options so much.
I bought bardings from lego bricks and pieces on Jan 23 and of today Feb 13 they have not shipped out yet so be aware of a bout 3 weeks to a month before they ship out if you are in the USA. They ship from overseas.

When I saw that figure leading the Vikings with the red and yellow I instantly thought ROLO!!! That’s amazing and I’m definitely buying the parts to make them.
Side note, have you seen the availability on lion knights and horse armor now due to the new lion castle set??

I'm currently creating my own lego viking/ barbarian army but I'm adding more of a fantasy twist to them. I've called them the beast tamers, and I've homebrewed them as being in an alliance with bear folk, wolf folk, and even Dwarves. The bear and wolf folk are going to be Chima mini figures, while the Dwarves are going to be a mixtures of LOTR and fantasy era Castle figures. I also thought of giving the humans mammoth and saber tooth mounts instead of horses.

This Viking will never be moved around by a queen. I pillage as I please 😆. Those figs look rad man. The Vikings Valhalla spin off show is good. Season 2 is much better than season 1 though. The Leif Erickson actor does a great job.
