    As a former rice farmer, I couldn’t help but think rice protein would leave hair thick & dry. Didn’t expect to see shine, which when my hair is left shiny, it’s also flat within hours.

      It really depends on your genetics and heritage. For example south east Asians do really well with rice water, or flax seed gel seed gel. Whereas a white girl with fine hair like me get dry brittle hair from "protein overload" using thise same ingredients. African americans do well with coconut and shea. Alot of Middle Eastern/indian do well with really heavy oils, even applied daily... whereas for me those same oils drench my follicle and caused fall out. And keft my hair greasy and heavy.
      Best advice is to find what works for you. For a slavic polish girl like me thats sulphates to cleanse and hyrating ingredients like gycerin and shine boosters like silicones and lighter oils like Moringa or Squalaane. (That protect hair without weighing it down).

    I was looking forward to hearing your review, and I agree with your point about the application bottle. It should have lines indicating the amount of water to add. Additionally, I believe it should be included with the purchase.

    I have Hispanic hair because I took after my mother.. As far as the texture goes. I'm naturally dirty blonde hair, so I didn't get my color from her though. I'm sticking to the Pureology line. That's my favorite!

    I still can't get over how gorgeous your hair is and how younger it makes you look, I hope you keep it this way for a while. Ok, these products seem to me to be along the same lines as Briogio, Living Proof, Ouai. I haven't tried them because I think they're a bit expensive ($30 for 8 oz). The reviews I've seen so far are not convincing so I don't think I will try them.

    Beyoncé is also the sole investor that funded this entire business. No outside forces that can claim stocks from the company so this is a major risk so they needed to come out the gates swinging.

    Thanks for your review. I don’t think you mentioned sulfates, silicones, parabens, etc. That info would have been helpful.

    Why does everything come in this artisanal, ultra matte, muted tones blob shape packaging. Everything from Rhode, KKW, Rare Beauty and now this. Its going to scream 2023 and be so cheugy in a few years.

      @Lee_lee_27_7_27 4 місяці тому +3

      Because a lot of people like neutrals. If you don't like it, that's cool, but it doesn't mean there's no market for it.
      Also, "cheugy" is lame.

      I personally like the look of this line. However when this becomes a dated look I don’t think it will be considered cheugy as this is not Melina’s look from 2014 lol I’m sure it will have another name or label

      How the products work is what’s going to make it memorable. I will use it years from now even if it’s in a zip lock bag. I love it for me and my curly/coily/zig zag frizz ball.

      @@sphanksjohns don't assume the entire world has the same opinions as you - there are many reasons why someone enjoys a product. It's so weird that you would say something like that

      @@Lee_lee_27_7_27 Sorry. I thought I basically said the same thing you did. Well at least I meant the same thing that there is a market for the line.

  • @Lee_lee_27_7_27
    @Lee_lee_27_7_27 4 місяці тому +3

    I would assume it's more targeted towards textured, course, unbleached hair. Maybe it's not advertised that way, but I imagine that's the core demographic.
