Hii Monica, your cake looks gorgeous. And your hands make it up with magic. can I know about your buttercream flowers, tools and techniques?..we need more videos... 💗✨
Thank you! We have lots of content planned for 2023, just the More Range products keep us so busy we haven't had time to edit it all up. Fingers crossed this year
Absolutely gorgeous! I’m defo giving palette knife flowers a go, even though I’m a bit late with the trend! Just one question if you wouldn’t mind?…. Does the buttercream not ‘melt’ the wafer paper? Thanks so much for sharing 😊
Hey Monica, this is beautiful...I wanna ask about condensation... My cakes is almost always sweating after I take it out from the fridge... I know it is because of the diffrence of the temperature... But do you have any tips? Thanksss
Depends on the humidity in your area. If it's a regular thing, always box your cakes when in the fridge and leave in the fridge when you take them out of the fridge. Aim for good quality boxes, cardboard is best, not thin white card stock boxes, Cheers, Monica
Hi Monica where in Australia are you located. Just loved your video with explanations. Trying desperately to find a good buttercream to pipe flowers with and to do palette knife roses with. I'm in Brisbane. Also what glue do you use to attach wafer paper petals to each other.
Hi! I am in Sydney. We are opening our studio for workshops later in 2024. Piping and Palette knife I use 2 different recipes. More on that shortly. I will be in demoing at ACADA in April in Brisbane if you like to pop by and say hi. For the glue I use my More Hard tylose with the recipe that on the product description on my site, hugs, Moni xx
Thank you! Generally I use edible art paints by Sweetsticks or gel colours. But for this cake I used Colourmill to match the colours. It does work, just a bit more tricky. I love the coverage it gives
Hi Pam, when I slow the videos down, people don't watch them, I would love to do proper slower videos but I loose followers. You can adjust the stream to a slower speed in your settings if that helps

Hi there Jacky, no, they don't melt provided the buttercream isn't wet from condensation. Cheers, Monica

Hi Monica, your cake looks amazing. I have a question regarding coloring, did you use oil based color to paint wafer paper?
Thank you! Generally I use edible art paints by Sweetsticks or gel colours. But for this cake I used Colourmill to match the colours. It does work, just a bit more tricky. I love the coverage it gives
@@moreishcakes thank you so much ❤
Thank you.
What size ring and cake pan you used
What pan do you use to get your cakes so high? Also how do you get 6 layers w/out it being wobbly?
What the name of the coloring do you use for your cakes?
what is the name of the company for the cake rings used for cutting the edges of the cake?
sorry for the delay, I missed this message, its www.cuttercraft.com.au xx
Is the water paper edible?
