I am so happy for the Mazelin family, you are definitely in a blessed season enjoy the various accomplishments and be sure to give thanks as you bless others.
🎉Woohoo🎉 Congratulations!!! After all the years, hurdles, set backs… the persistence paid off!!! What a testament, motivation, & inspiration for those enduring the grueling process!!! Great job fellow neighbors!!!
Hi Mazelins, Alec can contact/visit the Jamaican Permanent Mission or Consulate General Office closest to your state for renewal of his passport. Congratulations again to you both on this step forward.
I was wondering if Alec would have went thru a lawyer would the process be shorter, but maybe more costly. I guess shop around for different immigration lawyers
I think this sounds closer to the same we would have been told. So as the demand for this service has increased I’m sure the price has too. For us going through the K1 process they were charging for separate phases of the process, the K-1 being one part and then adjustment of status being another. We were quoted closer to 6k
Good all worked out for you and certainly the fees are much higher now-a-days. I applaud the different routes that lead people to residency and citizenship
I’m genuinely happy for u mi influencer i was born in Jamaica 🇯🇲 moved here very young experienced 2 green cards throughout my life Now imma U.S citizen 🇺🇸 can’t wait to see u on the other side & thanks for commenting on my citizenship post 🫶🏽
I don't post to much on here but watching from day 1, I'm in tears 😭 love you guys so much and you've helped me through loneliness. Congratulations!!!! Yes!!!!
Congrats Alec!!! I’ve followed your journey from the very beginning and one thing that stood out to me was your patience and your persistence through it all…I imagine the process was frustrating at times but it all made for the glory that you would now enjoy. Congratulations!!!!
I renewed my jamaican passport here in NY, but as u know, they sent the application back home, but if u want it back very soon, u can travel home and renew it there much easier and faster
Congratulations to both of you, Alec to renew ur Jamaican passport, you can go to your Consulate/Embassy office. Best to call them ahead n find out what you need to bring.
Congrats Alec!!! I could not imagine how stressful this must have been, but I am glad this weight has been lifted off you guys' shoulders. You both seem so deserving of everything good life has to offer. I can see how bright you lights are!
OMG!! I am SO happy for you both! It's been a while since I've written to you, but you may remember me. I am also a flight attendant and got engaged to my partner in December of 2022. I commute back and forth from the Dominican Republic to work in the US. We also applied for the K1 visa. The application got approved in February of 2024, but we are STILL waiting to secure a date for our interview at the embassy! (SMH) They took the money with a quickness...and then gave us the great wait! I truly felt the anxiety and frustration expressed in your video. No doubt, I am going through that now. It's already been almost two years and we haven't even made it to the United States to get married yet. Your sharing has let me know, that it's probable to expect even more waiting once we can successfully get to the US. Fortunately, my guy is steadfast, patient, and always encouraging. Like you, we are doing this on our own and endeavor to dot EVERY "I" and cross EVERY "T" so there will be no doubt that we are a couple who plan to spend our lives together. Because of my job, we don't have to spend too much time apart, and for that I am grateful. But we are both ready to begin writing our new chapter. I see SO MUCH of our journey (and circumstances) in all that you continue to share! Thank you for continuing to inspire me. ...again, CONGRATULATIONS!!!🥰👑💝🙏🏾🌎
Congratulations, mine was approved on the 08/17/2024 and card produced on the 08/24/2024 still waiting for the card though I believe everything is ok. It took just five months we applied for adjustment of status 03/15/2024. Am so happy for us. Congratulations once again
So Happy for you Alec, I went through the immigration process first as Daca and then got married. It’s amazing how the process has different timings for different people there’s no consistency. My husband and I applied in September 2022 and now I was approved in February 2024. Yes the waiting part was ridiculous as you said, but I’m surprised how long you had to wait for your medical mines was a lot easier. Maybe it’s the states we live in. I guess Texas is different LOL
Congratulations!!🎉🎉🎉 We just got our green card in the mail yesterday!! We went the spousal visa route after a failed k1 visa process! Our marriage visa process was a total of 26 months from start to green card in hand…this visa journey is not for the faint of heart and is hard AF… however it’s totally worth it to be with the one you love! And we did it all on our own also no attorney either time! Congrats again and cheers🥂🥂 to no more paperwork or USCIS until citizenship filing!!!! Much love💜💜💜💜
@@oliviabrown261 thank you! What country is your fiance from? My husband is from Morocco and that’s a hard consulate! What part of the process are you at.. has your petition been approved yet?

Hello ❤ Darlings, I'm HAPPY bc you're HAPPY. Life is a process. Since 911, then COVID, government processing is even longer. Especially with immigrations, MINIMUM maybe 24-36 months.
