Yes, you're right. It is a 2-man job. Haha. Thanks for showing how to replace a shower unit with a built-in pump. That was interesting. Also on that Worcester boiler with the warp electrodes. Thankfully, I haven't come across this particular model often. But, I learnt something new on how to remove the electrodes. I appreciate the video. 👍🏼 you have a new sub.
I use a similar technique but instead of my arm I use a big Allan key , short end in the outlet hole to hold the trap up then feed the top over it and tighten up if you get what I mean
Why did you have to "drain the tank" to change the ballafix valve? I take it was a tank fed cylinder, wasn't there a gate vale on the feed to the cylinder from the tank ?
I wouldn’t use ct1 as poor guy who has to replace the trap again.use a mcalpine st10 trap some come with a tool to hold up the trap and top seal chamfered that don’t need any sealant.use the end of ur silicon gun to hold the trap up whilst you tighten the top
Thanks mate, the customer has a 3D printing machine so said he wanted to sort a panel out, plus sometimes with them chipboard floors can be a pain getting them up or back down without them squeaking or unlevel
Well you went arse about face with the shower trap. Should have piped it in first so the trap was stable up to the hole. Then go upstairs and fix it lol
It is hard sometimes I admit but I did explain once, I mumble or don’t talk very clearly due to a speech impediment when I was younger, it affected the way I talk, I do try my best to speak clear for people while explaining while I’m doing but realise it can be hard sometimes especially with a black country accent.

lol 4pm on a Friday, I feel your pain, we've all been there.
Only booked in to have a “look”’as well 😅

theres always a way good job!!!
Always keep a bent metal coat hanger in the van for jobs like that one 🤣
😂
😂😂👍
Nice variety today mate
Great video
😎👍🤜
Thanks mate 👍
Those weird jobs are still following you around Luke. I’m beginning to think that you advertise for them 😂 👍
I must do because the job I’m on has ANOTHER crap soil stack I’ve had to replace. 2” cast to bath 😅😅
5:50 a proper test !!! Did you bung the inspection chamber and fill the stack with water up to the shower tray?
Perfect example of why we never use flexible connections to wastes, hot or cold pipework....
Have you see them top fix shower traps, they look immense and I’m dying to use one
Yes I’ve seen them and keep meaning to get one look really good
Why did you have to "drain the tank" to change the ballafix valve? I take it was a tank fed cylinder, wasn't there a gate vale on the feed to the cylinder from the tank ?
Yes mate it was tank fed so had to drain it, gate valve looked older than me on hot water as well so didn’t fancy gate valve roulette 😅
Nice video Luke has a boiler leak through the celling before did you do it

So is that the first power shower you have fitted ?
Good old power showers. Gives a great shower if the mains flow rate isn’t up to it.
Loads down here mate
To be fair it’s a good idea haven’t seen any other than that one by me
Those compacts really do block up …..if I’m strip servicing one I always change them electrodes
Yeah I did quote them for them but they declined at time, first time round only booked as routine service and it was a mess
Great video would have been easier cutting en suite floor instead of ceiling.
How would it be easier?
Thanks mate, the customer has a 3D printing machine so said he wanted to sort a panel out, plus sometimes with them chipboard floors can be a pain getting them up or back down without them squeaking or unlevel

Looks nibbled that, have they got a take away next door ?? 😂
Did u do the give away
Yes mate few videos back 👍👍
@bluebulldog_uk take it i day win then lol
That wiring to the light in the first video ffs! And that wiring in the second! And it's us that get a bad name.
I know mate
you sure that's not mice chewing thro the plastic?
Could you know in hindsight
Silicone on shower wastes all day !!!
Looks a bit like rodent damage on that waste
In hindsight could be right
No dust sheet or towel to stand on in customers shower tray
Oh dear 😮
I pi$$ in sinks who cares pal
Sorry but you need to speak a Lot Clearer! had to put Subtitles on! Mumbling with an accent! Hard to understand! Good Video!
What are you yapping about, you can clearly tell whats hes saying
It is hard sometimes I admit but I did explain once, I mumble or don’t talk very clearly due to a speech impediment when I was younger, it affected the way I talk, I do try my best to speak clear for people while explaining while I’m doing but realise it can be hard sometimes especially with a black country accent.
You can't and the subtitles don't help they can't understand him also
I’m Welsh I understood ya
No need to explain yourself, it’s crystal clear what you’re saying. Tell them to fuck off somewhere else! Great channel 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Sorry mate but this is to painful to watch, so I turned off
Definitely rat or mouse on that trap, my toilet looked the same.
