How to relax by regulating your physiology

- When you are going through prolonged stress or you feel mentally or physically exhausted, one of the best skills you can develop is the ability to regulate your physiology.
This means to deliberately and consciously regulate your nervous system by influencing your physical state.
If you get better at relaxing in your body then instantly you will experience reduced stress and anxiety.
Over time you will also improve your immune function and get better at sleeping.

I thought the notion of shopping early for Christmas wouldn't relax me but it really did, sort of transformed technology and smartphones into something I use for leisure instead of another reasons why something should be accomplished more quickly, maybe as they were intended

How does palm treatment (reiki) , that is, keeping our palm for 3 mins on each body part help ? Is it something similar to what you explained ? But reiki technique take almost 1 hour (3 mins *each body part).

I burned out in 2016 but it was caused by cptsd. I dont think Iv relaxed in the past 20 years. Im trying to reteach myself
