Dang with that many people in what looked to be a small area, I probably would have taped a 10 foot pole to my back and put a 2 x 3 foot orange flag at the top just to feel safer. Those bullets were flying everywhere. I'm guessing any weapon was legal to use?
@@Diffidentone if you have not done a deer drive, then this will feel uncomfortable to you. So far, with all of the big deer drives that go on, Pennsylvania has incredibly safe hunting statistics. And this is just flintlock and archery hunting, not rifle.
What a fun looking family event. Nothing wrong with just going out with family and having no set plan per say. Being safe and try filling the freezer.🦌
Kinda reminds me of the Iowa slug gun seasons a long time ago when the big groups used to hunt and bullets were flying. Great you got to be with your dad.
I’m from Westmoreland county PA! Love this video. Had no idea you were raised in PA! Also, LOVE Chris. His content is great! Would have loved running into you guys in the big woods! Great job keeping traditions alive and going!
Always enjoy your content Kaitlyn and was nice to see you hunt with your dad, Appreciate what you do for our entertainment, look forward to the next video, thank you!
I discovered your youtube channel about 4 months ago, immediately subscribed, and I think I've now watched every single video of yours. I keep hoping I'll find one that I haven't seen. I was excited to watch this new one, and wasn't disappointed. Keep 'em coming! All the best in 2023 to you and Chris and your family.
I would love to be able to hunt with my dad and grandpa again but after losing my granda to cancer my dad doesn't hunt much so I mainly hunt by myself anymore. I have a lot of good memories hunting with my family and I enjoyed every minute of it. Nothing better than being outdoors with your family.
Another awesome video Kautlyn Cherish those hunts with your dad. All I have is memories of mine and he is sadly missed but lives on in those memories. Good sportsmanship in giving up the deer that you put down, although I would expect nothing less from you. You are a great role model for today's youth
I thought I went into some areas that alot of other people hunted but that is crazy!!! Athough your right, it looks like a blast with all good people!!!! I remember some hunts that I never saw an animal better than some hunts I took a deer just because of the fun I had with friends or family.
I've hunted there since i was 13. Yes, it's really changed over the years. When i first started going there there were deer everywhere. Been really slow last few years. I missed this year, first in many I've missed. I talked to you there last year and didn't even realize it. Lol. It's definitely a different hunting experience.
I love public deer drives. Put a doe down this year that a guy shot and the lungs were hanging out. They told me if I had shot to take it and I took a shot and dropped him. The guy was using a 223 which wasn’t a good idea but I thumped it with my 308 and she dropped. Told the guy it’s his deer and he appreciated me getting a better follow up shot it. During the late season you aren’t required to wear orange but the only thing I wear is my orange hat
Thats crazy! Being with family and friends is one thing but when there's that many people nope I'll pass. I've had a bullet hit a tree 5 foot over my head. Heard the shot then heard the hit and felt the bark falling on me. That event changed the way I hunt. And if I drive out to "my" trail head and see more than 3 vehicles I move on to the next spot.
Or was it because she didn't have a doe tag? Unless this spot is in a special regs. WMUs, it's very, very difficult for non-residents to get a doe tag. Unlike the late season flintlockers, archers can only shoot a doe with a valid doe tag.
I would never shoot an animal without a tag. It is actually not hard for nonresidents to get tags at all. Get your facts before commenting nonsense. Trying to make me look bad for what?
As a Sheetz freak myself, especially for coffee on hunting days, I have to correct you and tell you that you got a Shmagel, not a bagel😂 Just kiddin, this is my first year in PA that I’m not hunting late season archery, always waited on my buck for some big bruiser but saw a nice 10 during the rut and couldn’t resist. Felt good to tag out before it was so cold here that you couldn’t feel anything after 5 minutes. Love your videos and your drive for the sport! Congrats!
Love watching your self filmed hunts better. Your so humble and passionate about your hunts! To see you with Kris Bee, who is so arrogate blows my mind. Good to see enjoy time hunting with your dad.
This exactly why I refuse to hunt public here because city hunters shoot at everything whether it legal or not even if a person is inline with the deer I refuse to get shot over a deer 🦌
It’s good to relinquish your kill to a person who “missed.” Want to avoid conflict over nothing. Meat eaters has a similar adventure. Tell Chris I’m copying his victory arrows for TAC!!!! Thanks for videos from both channel’s!
Dad, you've got an awesome daughter, Kaitlyn, you've got an awesome dad!!! Remember that hunting is the reward and the kill is a bonus. God Bless you and yours 🕊 🙏 ❤️ Jay.

Good ol sheetz, Amish, barely any deer , and injured deer. That’s pa late season on public land. 🤨 I think the flintlock guys are the reason I have a 3 legged doe that lives in my back yard.

Quick question, what’s the connection to Chris Bee? I just recently subscribed to his channel from a recommendation from my brother. Also you were in his latest Kansas hunt video. Small UA-cam world.
Boyfriend and they always do things on each other channel as they hunt a lot together both moved to Iowa and lease land. But the answer is boyfriend and girlfriend and good people
I've lived and hunted Pennsylvania my whole life and I've never seen a late season hunt like this lol. Hardly anyone hunts late season up here in NW PA and if they do it's usually hunted just like regular archery. Might have a couple people put on small drives with muzzloaders but that's about it. What part of PA is this?
I know just where you were hunting,I been thier with my brothers,it can be dangerous,,all them people shooting at one Deer,,I had shots go right on past us.I said no way,,I walked to the other end of the island, put my tree stand up,higher is safer on that Island anyhow,,I have Deer all around us all day,,,good luck,,and be safe,,
The buck was a 4 point, but needs to have 3 on one side to be legal. Guys will shoot at anything out there unfortunately. Most of them are Amish who meat hunt and don't care, but there's usually a game warden waiting in the parking lot to keep an eye on things
The Amish definitely will get them moving. Hunting public in Midwest and when they show up all heck breaks loose usually. That is also CLASSIC. Brown it's down and 🤷🏻♂️ it's "legal" 🤔🤫

Just think if she was to fish and hunt that place could have been the perfect place to do both at the same time lol
This video explains PA deer hunting in a nutshell. Complete CHAOS! Wouldn't have it any other way. PA proud!
It’s sooo crazy how each state hunts love seeing how everyone else does it in the great outdoors
I know this is wild lol? Seems a bit dangerous though with crossfire. I'm from Tx
