It's about time. His fans have been telling him to do a podcast for awhile, especially after Comedy Central canceled his late night show. And Tom Hanks LOVES doing podcasts! I think he's been on every podcast I listen to.
@@ZennExile excuse me...! Gimme a break!! I've never had nuff extra time for podcasts..but will sure make time for FLY ! Nothing better than unheard SNL stories-. Belushi??! Lorraine Newman!!!!?? I'm all over it 😎😊😁🌟🔥💯
So maddening when you witness a comic genius like David Spade and the audience does not follow him and go with him. Give that man his laughs!!!!!! So so so funny. Describing the corn hole show down 🤣🤣🤣 comedy A class.
I loved the first episode of the podcast, was laughing in bed, trying not to wake up my husband. I love all the SNL stories, plus they were talking about making Tommy Boy and Wayne's World because it was Rob Lowe on the show, so just great stories all around, plus even Rob Lowe has a Lorne Michaels impression 🤣, so funny!
I met David Spade like 15 years ago when they rented my office (I ran a location company) since they were looking for a "messy but seemingly well functioning office". He met me an said how long did it take you to make it look this way? I was like uhhhh, this is not set dressing, it came like this. He giggled looked around and then said well done! I was paid $500 to sit in the Thai restaurant downstairs all day and drink Thai beer (yuck) w/my business partner. It was fun & he was so cool.
hunh... I was starting to go searching for the 2nd part of the interview, when I noticed it was only halfway done. THANKS much guys, for not splitting this into separate vids. That drives me NUTS when the other late nite channels do that.
I still think my favorite was the Hollywood min or update and you did the intro to can't touch this and you were holding the Photos. "It's over". I cried. Yes, for Hammer.
Spade and a few others were born to be guests on shows like this. Its a rare specialized skill. Carvey, Orson Welles, Gore Vidal. And a handful of others.
I just read Live From New York. Like, I am just now finishing it. Having this come out just as I finish it is just blowing my mind. I eat, sleep, and breathe SNL. This is kismet. The stars are aligning for me 😱
Hey Guys pressure cookers are tricky they are hard to open when cooking also they can explore if there's too much pressure.Great show guys!I love how DS breaks it down.
I absolutely love the podcast. 3 reasons. One is that I started watching us to know in the middle of Dana carvey's and run but the 90s with Chris Rock and Adam Sandler and Chris Farley and laraine Newman was the most treasured time on the show for me. I've watched it consistently sends and it time and time again collects together or great cast and I love the fact that the show has so many renaissance's there is such a treasure Trove of people for them to talk to even if we talk to people they didn't work with they'll have stuff to talk about. Two they actually talk about Saturday Night Live. There's some podcast for people talk about the shows are on and they don't actually talk about the show they just talk about stuff. That's all well and good but I want to hear about the show and these guys talk about mostly SNL but they get into enough other stuff that is still interesting without being too far off their purpose for doing the podcast. Three I enjoy the fact that these two guys have known each other for so long but have had such separate careers that just expands how much they have to talk about. The podcast definitely isn't too long. I think you could be an hour longer but they keep it to about an hour that's probably good. I can't listen to three or four hours of somebody talking unless they're really interesting. Sorry Joe Rogan when you spend 3 hours talking to you and MMA fighter or comedy friend I just can't get into it LOL
I think my first David Spade sighting was Police Academy 4 as a skateboarder alongside Brian Backer (Mark 'Rat" Ratner from Fast Times Fame! He has some hilarious SNL Weekend update appearances too!
This podcast concept is very similar to The Carson Podcast by Mark Markoff. He interviewed just about everyone who worked for Johnny Carson, or appeared numerous times on the show. That was a lot of people.
Hey, how are you doing? Keep laughing! My friend got in trouble for hiding things in her bush! So the landlord cut it down! Charlie from Michigan aka Hatpolice. Ha Ha!🎃
David Spade is such a smooth and prolific story teller. He told at least four stories in this interview. He is also so relaxed. Cool dude
Coke will do that for you.
I hate Jimmy but he let Spade talk. Howard wouldn’t let him get a word in.
@@NotableSavage I ❤️ Jimmy, and his timing and listening skills are impeccable!!

Funny thing. He's had it for a while.
Agreed, Tom Hanks does all the podcasts, lol
don't encourage his nonsense, he's like 70. Let him go home and sleep.

Legit SUPER under rated! I've always loved Spade.
"Come on, Grownups guy, let's get a crowbar in that wallet."
One of my all time favorite talk show guests 😊
Spade gets me in tears every dang time! 😂 I was actually thinking why isnt there a SNL centered podcast a few weeks back. Too cool! 💕
I'm a simple man. I see Spade on a chat show, I click. One of the chat show guest GOATS.

No matter how old David Spade gets , he'll at least always have the voice of an 18 year old kid
Whenever I see Spade i think of his SNL Soundbite from SNL Weekend Update "I've Fallen and I can't get up!"
Lol yes he does sound like an 18 year old kid.
LOL Love David Spade... His thoughts about the pressure cooker are EXACTLY the same I had when I was gifted it.
I just love David Spade. His ig stories make my days happier haha
Spade’s the best love hearing him tell stories, especially SNL ones
May I suggest his autobiography on you tube. He WAS Joe Dirt but genius.
David is the most hilarious person ever. He cracks me up everytime!!!!

When it hurts too much for your friends to talk about you, you've done a good job Bob.
I believe Spade took his time when it came to talking about Norm’s passing too.
Love you David Spade. Love the Tom Hanks story. Will go look for your pod cast!!

Spade's book "Almost Interesting" is great. He tells a lot of SNL stories--including Subway Surfing.

I was never a big Spade fan. However, I really enjoyed him these past couple of years. I loved his show Lights Out.
Spade needs his own show again, @comedycentral messed by not having another season.
I don't llike podcasts but this is actually a reaally great one. I am addicted to it! So funny!

David Spade is on his way becoming the Martin Short for a younger generation.
.. and I adore them both !
