thats what lifes about my dude, being happy for others, Shane we watched get fired for saying chink, then like a phoenix he rises into a Beautiful Dawg.
That's a funny thing, isn't it?
I get that too
Exactly??!! Gotta chalk it up to just how personable dude is. First time watching SNL in at least a decade
It’s cause he fought the machine and won! This single event is so much bigger than just him hosting SNL. He showed these executives that they aren’t required to “make it” and that they don’t decide what the people like. Shane got fired but then got so big on his own that they couldn’t ignore him. It’s a huge win for everything and everyone non woke.
Everyone’s getting apple juice had me dead. One of the best quips out there.
People were wrecking this monologue on the Internet. I think he killed it. Hilarious.
it wasn't funny he is still just trying to do louis ck, he needs to try to find his own voice
I thought it was funny and the fact he was clearly a bit nervous humanizes him a bit in my eyes. How could you not be nervous hosting SNL after all that went down?
@@jimlivininozHe doesn’t need to be finding his voice on live television when thousands of people are seeing him for the very first time
@@jimlivininozart inspires art. Cry about it
He crushed it. But not on the “woke” scale🤷♂️
Shane's nervousness showed a little bit, but he brought out some new material and pushed boundaries! thats what comedy is about! I'm proud of him and had a great time watching this.
He knew that wasn't his crowd. As a comic, you like to avoid that. Lol.
He should've had a 6 pack before going out there.
I'm so proud. He was himself and went on limbs most never will in front of Millions on the biggest stage.
Real balls on this guy. Love him to death.
@Walddo Biggest stage? snl doesn't even do a million anymore. When he's on Rogan that averages 4mil.
But I get what you meant.
Great revenge and snl even paid him to allow him to do it to them😂
Its cause he is bombing, you can tell no one is laughing wich is horrible cause this shit is hilarious 😂😂😂
"She looks exactly like uncle Shane" 😂😂 That was hands down the best joke and it was definitely true 🤣😭
As a mother of three boys I can't tell you how much I enjoy Shane's stand-up!!!!!!!
This monologue put me in the mood for a grilled cheese sandwich
Where you get that cheeeee?
He's making them at night.
WHERE’D YOU GET THAT CHEE DANNY?!
Me too and im all out of fucking bread! Ill have to make some microwave nachos instead.
@@princemessiahking 👀 I’m not making them at night dad!!!
😏 I’m making them at night
Big phil looked like he had no clue that Shane was going to do that lol
@BadomeroDoughty downvote
As someone who works w/ adults w/ down syndrome Shanes humanization of them never fails to make me smile :)
Yeah I agree. It was kinda weird the audience seemed very timid when he started talking about ppl with Down syndrome and I was like why? It’s okay to laugh at jokes that humanize and respect people just like everyone else
I’m so happy for Shane. He’s gonna hit the stratosphere with his comedy talent. Can’t wait for Tires on Netflix
Shane resorting to older material in a panic is so wholesome.
Idk if true but he said on mssp that Louis told him to do his best stuff because no one in the crowd will know it anyways
@@UhhhWinski1 just watched that clip
@@UhhhWinski1That's exactly what I thought. Its good to do your older material to a difference audience. There is nothing wrong with it. The true fans will get it and be supportive because this was a big event for him.
He's not resorting to older material in a panic, this is the broadest audience he'll ever get. You don't use new material on SNL unless you're Dave Chappelle or Louis and everyone already knows you.
I think he had to back pedal because the audience was robotic and stiff like they heard the jokes but didn't get them, so he reverted to some of his "solid classics" that are simpler to understand.
He was jittery and I think the "older" material was like hopping on an old bicycle and made it an easier/more comfortable ride as well. Just some thoughts
"I hate this job so much!"🤣🤣😂 That was gold!
Subtle but deadly lol
His Fox News dad in the belly of the beast is awesome! 😂
The fact that he brought big Phil out just to roast the shit out of him is legendary.

That was a genius set up. Shane is one of the best, such a great set. One of the secrets to comedy is to keep the audience tense and just not knowing what Shane was going to say the entire set and where he was going to go and how he delivered was amazing. Guy is one of the best.
@@bartmix8994 It's a helluva lot funnier than someone being snarky on the internet. Why don't you go give yourself a little treat by sitting on your favorite toy and watching some Billy Eichner videos?
