The issue from the lav is actually Rode's fault. All the products that I've bought from them were useless and had some kind of interference or simply didn't work. Never again. DJI all the way.

Yes, I've been using the Mic 2 for a few months now and I recommend it.

Wow! I've never seen someone so easily detracted, and go off at such a tangent. Isn't the whole idea of a lav-mic to separate the mic and the transmitter? So, even if you are using a 3rd-party mic, you will never have the situation of them being close together in practice. Perhaps test with more compatible equipment next time.

In answer to your question, yes, a lav mic won't traditionally be next to the transmitter. However, I believe I demonstrated a quirk with the first version of the DJI Mic that some users might encounter and might also lead to the assumption that other electronic devices could trigger that same audio interference such as mobile phones, bluetooth earbuds, Apple Watches, etc. And I used a very common Lav mic brand and model that many people have, so these are not some rare products that no one has ever heard of.
Also, you've never in your entire life seen someone so easily distracted? I guess I'm impressed by that statement, unless you were being hyperbolic and denigrating towards me. Then I'll just accept that as standard internet comment section sarcasm.
