It's okay to play both games everyone! I love both games, they both have their pros and cons. I also miss SXL sometimes and will play it just because of how responsive it feels. Having full control over everything just feels good even if it's not completely realistic. It's like playing an arcade racing game vs a racing simulator. Sometimes the simulator is a bit too much and you just want to mess around and have fun so you go to the other option.
Except both simcade and simulator racing games actually still have responsive controls lol. Session still has a bit too go but their blunt slides are so good compared to sxl
@@urbanumbra6170 Session isn't not responsive. It's just responsive in a different way and a lot of SXL players don't like it because they got so used to SXL's controls.
@@who7950 The devs are terrible if all they can give us is 1 map every 6 months or so. Lol. They shouldn't have rushed the game if they can't make any physics changes now because it's too late.
For the trick inquiry around 11:55, it'd be a pop shuv nose blunt. Most of the time when people shuv into a slide, they call it a bigspin, which is incorrect. But I wouldn't argue it to someone if they popped one stance and landed in the opposite stance. It'd be like doing a bigspin, but with a noseblunt in the middle, as opposed to "bigspin to noseblunt". But if the trick doesn't involve an 180, it can't be called a bigspin. Most of the time, we know what people mean, but in the world of contest judging and olympic skateboarding, I think it is an important distinction to make.

@@Yitzaak Session is the better game than Skater XL since it is totally different from a generation Skateboarding game of every skaters in that game that what I meant?!

I would only call it a bigspin noseblunt if you landed out to fakie, thus completing the 180 motion. Since you landed back to regular, it's just a pop shuv noseblunt.
Question Mr vagina? Do u feel like that forest map and the little pump track have any influence on ur own backyard park ? Can definitely see some similarities 🤘🤘🤘
I like both and been playing more session lately like everyone else because of the new update. But I don't think I'll ever like their decision to configure switch and nollie the way they have it. I've gotten used to it but I think Milky did a controversial video about it a while ago going deep into it, and I agree with him...just doesn't feel right and it actually doesn't make sense, me as a skateboarder as well.., to me...a Ollie and fakie ollie are the same, same thing as switch Ollie and nollie, once I learned kickflips I pretty much could do fakie flips, and I learned nollie flips before switch flips but they feel virtually the same because it is the same trick if you are stationary, which is how it is in XL...but session, it's not that...so idk man. The way it's done in XL...there is a still a learning curve but once you get over it, it actually makes more sense if you skate. Session, once I got over the learning curve of switch and nollie, I still don't think it feels right. Like you said in the other video, controls are about 80-90% the same, but that 10-20% difference makes a lot of difference to me... especially with switch and nollie. It's weird because in session I can do switch and nollie tricks, but I don't like to because it just feels wrong. But in skater XL, it's just like real skating for me...like I prefer switch heels in real life over regular heels. In skater XL I really love doing switch back tails over regular ones. After finishing the story mode thing in session, I can't say I actually have what feels like real preferences, I just try to line up tricks and get them, it's harder to get them for sure...and I'm not entirely sure it's because session is just harder, sometimes it seems like things just don't work properly still. All in all, I'm convinced that session isn't actually skate 4 that we haven't gotten yet...to me session is actually a new thrasher skate and destroy. If you've never played that, it's the first skateboarding simulator...for PS1, but it's all input based with the buttons, session feels like that game but with the sticks instead. Thrasher didn't feel much like real skateboarding besides loading up before popping, but the way it looked and flowed...made you feel like real skateboarding, and that's the vibe I'm getting from session. Skater XL actually feels more like real skateboarding in the hands to me, but like if I was Nyjah or something...but session has that like compound thing and I find myself getting into more battles. They are both awesome games.
I like both games and hope both succeed but I really hate when session fans always answer with "it's hard because it's hard in real life" when someone points out a badly designed feature or an actual bug in the game. Both games will change over time and both games have pros and cons, compromises and bugs etc. People get so mad it's crazy. Just accept that both have a place.
I’ve got both games but I got skater xl first and I can shred at that game. But session the controls are horrible I love the fact you can darkside, primo and Casper but The controls just kill it for me if I could change the controls to how it is on skater xl then I would say session is better.
