You forgot to calculate the fact they were in a party and all killing boars together at a higher rate than Cartman alone could have assuming Cartman never used any instant-cast ability like Mortal Strike, Hamstring, Rend or anything like that. Also Cartman claims to be a Warrior, but if you look at his UI when it shows up he has the icon for the Rogue ability Eviscerate on his action bar, and his character performs the Eviscerate animation spell effect et al. So Cartman's not actually a Warrior but a Rogue with mail/plate armor and a two-hander. Kenny isn't a Hunter either, since Humans can't be Hunters in that iteration of the game. He's probably a Rogue LARPing as one.
I remember reading about the rogue action bar thing while researching this episode. They did a lot of goofy and inconsistent stuff just to make the episode work (at one point you see xp flash as someone levels up and it's way higher than the xp you'd get by killing boars below your level).
I've played Vanilla-BfA and I don't remember humans were hunter locked till Cata. Obviously they are when looking it up just weird I noticed undead being given the hunter class back then but not humans.
do remember, since vanilla you could custom macro with any icon in the game. I once changed every one of my brothers (protection paladin) hotkeys and icons to be warlock and shaman icons. it was probably the best april fool day prank i ever pulled on him. I also made a bunch of the macros say really cringey shit like he hit the bubble button his character would yell a more profane version of "i'm a scared little baby, someone help me"
@@NoESanity You can, but you also have to give it a name which shows up on the action bar as well, and even just a period would stand out against an image so familiar. On top of that there's the matter of the Eviscerate spell effect and the Dwarf 2h special attack animation that plays, and does because Eviscerate uses the special attack animation.
@@DEUS_VULT_INFIDEL Just want to let you know that if you dont type anything for the name, just change the Icon, and the first line is #showtooltip, itll show the tooltip and name of the spell you have for the first /cast. The picture also changes to whatever that spell is if you have the #showtooltip and you dont pick a picture. I just use a space in the name.

Dear Austin, I know you probably aren't going to see this, but I'm going to write this up anyway. I started watching your content back on Game Theory a few years ago and you really caught me at a pretty bad time in my life. I was struggling in middle school, my grades were terrible, I had no interest in anything and the only time I genuinely felt happy or at piece was in during the 20 minute commute on my bike between school, where all I ever saw was looks of judgement and disappointment, and home, where I'd get yelled at my parents for my admittedly terrible performance. I still can't put a finger on where exactly I went wrong. Your content - specifically "The SCIENCE" - ended up really interesting me. Many of the things you talked about (especially the tidbit of nuclear physics you did for those fallout videos because edgy middle school me) clicked with me and I somehow became interested in them. I even started researching a lot of those topics on my own. Weirdly enough, you were also what got me into classical music. Anyway, my interest in physics which was solely inspired by a select few of your videos actually became a defining feature of my character. I started working a lot harder in school, especially in math classes, so I could understand some of the stuff you were talking about. I was lucky because some teachers saw my efforts and helped me in my journey. The next year after that I changed schools - this was a good decision for me. I filled the niche of "edgy science-nerdy kid" in that new environment. I was one of the people that later started our schools Physics and Engineering club. The first thing we talked about? Nuclear physics, radioactive isotopes, and Mini-Nukes from Fallout :D Anyway, fast forward a few years and we get to now. I've become a lot busier than I used to be and don't really have time for things like UA-cam videos anymore. But I've also found a good direction in life. At one point, I decided I was going to major in physics. It was really a snap decision, somebody asked me what I was going to do after high school and I didn't really think about it. Last week, I got my acceptance letter from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and from UC Davis. I'm still waiting on some other UCs and MIT to get back to me. I'm going to major in physics - either applied physics or nuclear physics depending where I go. I also decided I'm going to stay in school until I get my PhD. I can't rightly say just how much of where I am now and how much of my future was influenced by these "The SCIENCE" videos. But I do know that for some reason, I chose to watch one today with my little bit of free time, and that as soon as I heard that "click" and your enthusiastic, energetic voice say "Dear Blizzard" to the tune of "La Donna e Mobile" all these memories rushed back to me and I that same little pang of joy I used to feel when I watched your videos. Welcome back Austin! I think there are two errors in your Theory (correct me if I'm wrong): You share your XP with the group you play with. Considering they were 4 guys they could level a lot faster + only need to kill a fourth of the boars you calculated.
Aside from the inaccuracies already included like Kenny being a Human Hunter, Stan wearing a Frostwolf tabard from Horde Alterac BG, and Kyle wearing a Lunar Festival dress that gives no stat bonuses.

I always understood the saying: "Through thicc or thin" as an anology as traversing through a substance. Thick liquids requires a lot of effort to go through, as there is a lot of resistance. Therefore the thick is the bad side/ the hard times. Thin liquids require hardly any effort to traverse through. Think of it as walking through water vs walking through air. Air is a lot easier as it is a thinner liquid. (Fluid physics describe gasses as a liquid) Also also Welcome back Ausitn, great to see you doing content again.

I AM HELPING THE VIDEO But seriously, this is an awesome video, and I'm glad you finally got to it ^^ Also, you forgot to multiple the kill rate by 4 when calculating the time needed, as EXP is shared in a party, so they would've gotten 2 EXP each per boar killed, which *does* cut down the time significantly.

You don't need to multiply by 4 for the number of characters. If they're in the same party, they're sharing the xp!

I won't say how old I was when that episode aired to prevent another existential crisis, but great video. There are so many more legends and myths from videogames just waiting to be confirmed to be true (plausible), or to be proven false.

Also, you forgot to multiple the kill rate by 4 when calculating the time needed, as EXP is shared in a party, so they would've gotten 2 EXP each per boar killed, which *does* cut down the time significantly.
