First you have to study 10-12 years and after 4-5 years practice than you have open.To be honest Doctor make good amount of money in their own setup after struggling 15-17 year.
I'm a Doctor and I 200% agree with him. This profession as much as it seems noble and rich from outside is 10 times more depressive and toxic in reality. Not many days back I told my mother that I've realised I've destroyed my life by choosing this profession. I've had so many dreams and my bucket list is overflowing but neither do I have time nor money to achieve this. You study 5 years for MBBS and let me just tell you those 5 years are not a bed of roses but swords, then you have to study to crack pgee. When you are done with pg start worrying about super specialisation. By now you've turned 35 and all your dreams have now changed into responsibility and accountability. Your mental health doesn't even exist. Your self satisfaction is far fetched. So before choosing to be a doctor think and ask yourself do you really want to do this or you are doing it because everybody's doing it or your parents want you to do it. If you are truly, really interested in saving lives and you can compensate this feeling of high and mighty with emptiness, tiredness, destroyed mental health and toxic work culture then only choose this.
Main problem in the field of medicine is cost of education. To complete mbbs in private medical collage you have to spend minimum 50 lakhs.. after that you can expect a job of 60K in the beginning. The cost education should be reduced if you want ti develop a good doctor's for the country. In today's time only rich can become a doctor..
I'm an MBBS student currently in 2nd year and what he is telling is true. And recently the medical counsil has implemented NEXT exam which you have to pass in order to get your medical license and to study further. Medical professionals deal with human healths so it isn't a easy job. You have to word hard so that you can save someone, in case you don't, people here will beat you to death. Also the money one will get is not much as compared to effort one puts. So my sincere advice to everyone please choose this profession only if you want to help cure people, not for any other reason like money or fame. There are many other branches today which can provide those in less time and less effort.
I am a junior doctor and i left 2 hospitals becoz of toxic environment in hospitals senior's were so toxic that i was afraid of them they verbally abuses you they manipulate their statements and blame you for literally everything i have been in depression and its been 6 months since i left the house but i am gathering my strength to face everything again

Every field has struggle. If you do bsc you don't expect more than 10k so you do msc and don't get more than 25k so phd is must... You need to invest 10 years to get 70-80k here too If you do law there is no scope if you do just llb... Masters degree is needed here too in which you need to give your 8 years... Maximum students are not able to crack CA or UPSC in 3-4 attempts so they too need 7-8 years for drops+training Who is happy? No one... Everyone get 40-50k in their initial phase or even less except few like iitians aiims doctors and of course you need to study extremely hard for both of these.
@@vyna180 you can go for btech But in btech if you don't get good college there will be no meaning. There can be chances of unemployment. So study very very nicely and bring bring good results in jee and get a good college. Btech is of 4 years so this is the shortest course ig for now😂😂

Every profession have their ups and downs, some people just keep on complaining bout this n that about their profession. As of me, I'm doing my mbbs and I'll just try to give my best and I know I'll be happy wherever I land up. Perspective ki baat. There are labours who are working for rupees 300/day just because they never got a chance or resources and then there are some privileged people who keeps on yelling and complaining about every single thing. No job is perfect, the person doing it makes the job perfect.
It's good to open up and complain rather than bottle it up and pretend it's all good. Let there be space for people to complain as much as you leave space for your perspectives to flourish. If one doesn't like what one is doing, there is a reason for it. Let them find it. The comparison that you did here would be an absolute hindrance to them finding out that reason, so kindly avoid saying this to anyone who feels they are in the wrong profession.

India need more n more health care professional but they won't increase medical colleges n govt seats. Payment seats costs 1_3cr depending on the college for mbbs, for MD another 2cr. If someone cannot gets seats through neet, there is no options at all. Atleast we can afford engineering payment seats can cost 5-30lakh.

Having a doctor in the family doesn’t matter if he or she doesn’t have their own clinic because becoming a doctor is completely based on merit . But ya lawyers, CAs , can give the children an upper hand .
I have seen first generation CAs earning more than CAs who had family background in finance, at the end it completely depends on hard work and skills, no matter what degree you are pursuing

As a doctor couldn't agree more. I moved to pune and stepped out of the hospital and my room only when i was leaving Pune. Everyday 12 to 15 hrs then on call days which is once a weekAfter 36 - 48 hrs duty you see nothing but anything you can sleep on, floor or mat or table. Wanderlust goes down the drain. I'm 25 yrs rn.

@@nomade3269 if job satisfaction is important for you go for it, if you want to enjoy your 20s and early 30s then avoid it. But know that you're making a decision you shouldn't regret tomorrow. For us, now we run on academic validation and adrenaline each case brings. End of the day its satisfying that you got someone out of danger. But trust me it 100% takes a toll on you mentally and socially too (personal relationships etc). Choose your battle. :)

@@vyna180 if you don't want to drop a year again then don't waste a year. There are many choices with descent salary. You can do b pharm and then m pharm approx 5 years and then work in pharma companies. You can do bams if your score is okayish but you will have to do MD if you bams. Bsc agriculture/msc agriculture is also good Biotechnology Microbiology Phd in any subject. See every field over here will need approx 5-8 years not less. If you want to earn good you need to study till masters.

My principal in my school said the same thing, when I was in phase where I was confused about choosing PCM or PCB . He said I would loose my entire youth and invest 10 years of my life in studying. So I choose to prepare for JEE 💀

Every profession have their ups and downs, some people just keep on complaining bout this n that about their profession. As of me, I'm doing my mbbs and I'll just try to give my best and I know I'll be happy wherever I land up. Perspective ki baat. There are labours who are working for rupees 300/day just because they never got a chance or resources and then there are some privileged people who keeps on yelling and complaining about every single thing. No job is perfect, the person doing it makes the job perfect.

India need more n more health care professional but they won't increase medical colleges n govt seats. Payment seats costs 1_3cr depending on the college for mbbs, for MD another 2cr. If someone cannot gets seats through neet, there is no options at all. Atleast we can afford engineering payment seats can cost 5-30lakh.

I have seen first generation CAs earning more than CAs who had family background in finance, at the end it completely depends on hard work and skills, no matter what degree you are pursuing

As a doctor couldn't agree more. I moved to pune and stepped out of the hospital and my room only when i was leaving Pune. Everyday 12 to 15 hrs then on call days which is once a weekAfter 36 - 48 hrs duty you see nothing but anything you can sleep on, floor or mat or table. Wanderlust goes down the drain. I'm 25 yrs rn.

@@nomade3269 if job satisfaction is important for you go for it, if you want to enjoy your 20s and early 30s then avoid it. But know that you're making a decision you shouldn't regret tomorrow. For us, now we run on academic validation and adrenaline each case brings. End of the day its satisfying that you got someone out of danger. But trust me it 100% takes a toll on you mentally and socially too (personal relationships etc). Choose your battle. :)

You can do b pharm and then m pharm approx 5 years and then work in pharma companies.
You can do bams if your score is okayish but you will have to do MD if you bams.

Microbiology
Phd in any subject.
See every field over here will need approx 5-8 years not less. If you want to earn good you need to study till masters.
