If anyone wondering why psychologists in Australia have very high earnings. It is because the Permanent Residents and citizens are entitled to at least 10 free psychological sessions. It is completely government funded. Also the pay rate is very high as set by government standards. Apart from this psychologists in Australia are created through a very arduous process of minimum 6 years of theoretical and practical training. They must be accredited by the Australian Psychological Association. It is a highly regulated profession which is well funded by government as a good government knows the importance of mental health of its people.
In India also we have 6 years training and theoretical knowledge. 3 years graduation + 2 years masters + 1 year diploma for counsellor. 3 years graduation + 2 years masters + 2 years MPhil for Clinical Psychologist. Apart from this you can do as many diploma and certification courses as you want, which also consumes a lot of time and money. And from this year, graduation will be of 4 years, which makes the journey even longer. And we have RCI as regulating body here.

I am majoring in psychology. I cannot speak about every career in psych but for a psychiatrist it's from 120k-450k (1 cr to 4cr per year). but again, psychiatrist is basically a doctor so ofc the pay goes on the higher side, psychologist is like 60k-150k (50 lakhs to 1 cr per year)

nahi she is right just that she needs like 20 years of experience to ask for that much money plus you are never just in a clinical setup your always employed in academia and that gets you like extra 1.5 to 2.25 lakhs per month and if you are smart and are able to build your software or some test that is employed then you expect around another lakh per month on top of that but the catch is always that you are experienced and you have a strong network but yeah initially you are probably the least in demand professional and its great that its like that, tbh psychology is a field of study that no one should pay any attention to and its utterly useless the only aspect that is remotely applicable and useful in the whole study of mind is psychiatry but I would say a general physician with only mbbs is about as much qualified as a stupid psychiatrist. Psychology is the greatest scam that jews were able to pull off. Accept Islam and you are never need to indulge in this field. Its a field of work for super low IQ people of around 60 to 70 range. Allahumdilaah.
I am majoring in psychology. I cannot speak about every career in psych but for a psychiatrist it's from 120k-450k (1 cr to 4cr per year). but again, psychiatrist is basically a doctor so ofc the pay goes on the higher side, psychologist is like 60k-150k (50 lakhs to 1 cr per year)
