Pitch Axis Theory: Create Spectacular Guitar Music

The Pitch Axis Theory is a super fun and creative way to explore different keys and modes on the guitar. A truly spectacular sound!
It has been popularized by guitar hero Joe Satriani on songs like ''Not Of This Earth'' or ''Satch Boogie''.
Satriani was tired of following the standard ''rules'' of traditional jazz tunes in order to explore the sounds of different keys.
Instead, he decided to use one note, one pitch, as an axis, where anything can revolve around it. It results in cool chordal and modal exploration.
In this lesson, I'll be teaching you 2 ways to use the Pitch Axis Theory in your own guitar music and I'll also show you how to make cool tapping arrangements like Satriani does using the principles of the pitch axis.
