This is exceptional, eye-opening content! I'm very glad I've found this channel and these 'How to Use X musically' videos are just what I've been looking for.
Is the “b” a typo in the “bIIMaj7” comment? [gee, that Never happens to me 😂😂😂]… Otherwise, I am flummoxed. Cheers/Slainte mhaith 🏴! 👨🏼⚕️🎸🇬🇧🏴🇺🇸🏴🫶✌️🤷🏼♂️
@@johndrowe5281 Talking about the Neapolitan chord at 16:40! It’s a bII (flat II) because the root is a half step below the II. Tritone substitutions are basically a Dominant 7 chord that is a tritone (6 half steps) away from the chord it’s substituting. The V7 chord root is a tritone away from the bIIMaj7. Hope this helps!
That Cm EbM7 AbM7 was an ear 👂 opener 🎉
yeah, that was really beautiful!

Très intéressant d’un point de vue harmonique. 👍👌
Merci Antoine pour la clarté de tes explications. 🙏👏
Outstanding! Thx yet again.
toujours aussi bon
Great video and extra kudos for the Zelda reference 👍
Love your content
The reason that the bIIMaj7 and V7 have the same pull to the I is because it's a tritone sub. Great video!

@@storytimesongs1 thanks. Had not seen Bb written that way as I still get hand-written lead sheets 😊. 🎶🎵🎶🎵
keep it simple and call it a flat five@@storytimesongs1
@@storytimesongs1isn’t the neopolitan an inversion ?
Très intéressant, merci Antoine! En passant est tu québécois?
Oui!
Great lesson Antoine💪🏽💪🏽
good video but, your guitar always seems to have a lot if fret buzz. What gauge of strings do you use?
The Zelda song ….makes me hear the song from Charlie and the Chcolate Factory, “Pure Imagination”…lots of Maj7’s in that vocal melody?
Great video.
I expect the next video to be "9 ways to use major 9 chords" 😁
69 ways to use 6/9 chords 😂
@@howeichi 420 ways of using sus2 and sus4 chords all together.
