Hey Sam, I love your show!!! ❤❤❤. It's 2021, and I'm hoping that you could do a reboot of your yogurt chicken 🐔😋. The sound wasn't so good on the one I just watched, but I love the quality of your "newer" format!!! All you guys are doing a great service and show for All!!!! Making America 🇺🇸 Cook 🍳 Again❣ Thank You very much!!!!
Dang, Sam, I was hoping you'd have missed that little morsel left on the grill so that I could sneak over and eat it but NO, you knew it was just waiting for you!
Video: "Quick yogurt chicken" Me: Oh great, I can make this for lunch right now! Video: "Marinade this for at least 4 hours, overnight is best" Me: Never mind :(
I enjoyed this quite a bit - I appreciate the perspective.... Some things require very precise measurements, both in quantity, temperature and cooking time... some things don't. He didn't belabor the elements that weren't critical. Simple enough. Thanks, Sam!
I kind of tested the recipe for the marinade with some chicken tenderloin meat (I don't buy thigh meats) and cooked it in a frying pan. Tasted great :))))))))
Greek yogurt is absolutely amazing! I use it in protein meal replacement shakes and it tastes amazing especially with coconut milk and chocolate almond or cashew milk.
Everything you cook looks so amazing!!! I'm giving this a try this weekend. If i can just keep the chicken with the yogurt from sticking to the grill. :)
As a Brit my perception of America is deep fry, or slap a chunk of beef on a barbecue...I know pretty ignorant.... this is Amazing perfect ingredients and looked delicious cheers mate 👍
I'm marinating all ingredients minus cilantro. Only had parsley on hand, but it smells sooooo goooood! Thank goodness for surgical gloves cause of the turmeric. Can't wait until tomorrow to grill 'em! Thank you for sharing!
Even though this video is like 4 years old I’m marinating chicken thighs as we speak With this marinade.Sam taught me about chicken thighs and it’s going to be hard to go back to chicken breast.
That grill is on a episode of him going into a store that sells cooking equipment. A red one just like that stainless steel one he is using with the drop top lid.
When adding salt to a sauce or marinade as opposed to say a steak or anything that needs even covering, there is no need to raise your arm up 12 feet in the air. Follow me for more pro tips.
Pan fry the chicken thigh today.. looks delicious, smell delicious and damn delicious! Did without the sriracha as doing for my kids. Have the chicken wrap with garlic flatbread. Damn good! Thanks Sam!
why do you not let it cool a bit and not burn your mouth. I know people like to see you try it but come on not burn you. Looks good easy and must try. Thanks Sam
Gotta agree with you on the tumeric. If you're doing a yogurt marinade kind of thing then you probably need some tumeric. Yurp. Good call sammich genius!
Important Safety Tip: To avoid burning your hands, use the near side of your grill, not the center. (learned that one the hard way LOL!) Great recipe. Next on my list to try!
Sam, I have a conundrum. I'd love to try this recipe, however, my wife despises spicy food! Although I LOVE it!!! The family joke is, she thinks ketchup is spicy. And though that is a bit of an overstatement, it ISN'T too far from the truth. If I try to sneak a teaspoon instead of a tablespoon-she'll taste it! I love her dearly and don't want to jeopardize 40 years of marriage because I want to make something with a kick, AND her raising Cain over it! In a very long-winded way, is there a substitute for the Siracha? Love your vids, by the way!
I bet it’s too late but I also bet it’s the rule as with turmeric - if you don’t have it/want it, then don’t use it ;) On the other hand - split the marinade before putting meat in it. One for you and the other for your partner :) add the spice to your portion and enjoy the heat while your wife enjoys her version :)
I was trying to get my ears to pop, watching this was like driving up on Big Bear Mt. my volume button wouldn’t help, I going to have to see my counselor now, how does that make you feel.
yall are seriously worried about cross-contamination . I cook like this all the time. Honestly, I am even more reckless. I have never been sick from food and neither have my guest. Yall need to build up your immune systems
Sam, I'd be careful about stereotyping people and using veiled anti-White slurs, otherwise some "Jethro" or "good ole boy" could come up side your...you know what I'm saying. It's the same as calling a black guy that forbidden word, except that normally we are so good natured and not overly sensitive that you'll get a pass. I do like your videos and encourage you keep doing what you did to get banned from Hoda and whatshername's show. Now that was funny. Oh what the heck, say what you want to say just know that it's a double standard and a perpetuation of stereotypes.

Agreed, 2022 here.
AGREE Greek chicken. The new Greek fest recipe is very good but I need that yogurt version

zero concept of making food lol
With a lot of yogurt, it is enough if you marinate it for 30 min to 1 hour
Stuck to your recipe on the stovetop grill pan, it was great!

Can you do a tour of your outdoor kitchen?
Reminds me to a Lebanese sumac chicken that I love. Served with toum, of course!! Yummy!!!
I make this about every other week. It also works good with sour cream.
I've made this recipe and it IS fantastic!
Everything you cook looks so amazing!!! I'm giving this a try this weekend. If i can just keep the chicken with the yogurt from sticking to the grill. :)
I love how how countertop serves as a cutting board 🥰 and I do that rough cooking style as well
As a Brit my perception of America is deep fry, or slap a chunk of beef on a barbecue...I know pretty ignorant.... this is Amazing perfect ingredients and looked delicious cheers mate 👍
great stuff!! can i use a griddle pan instead of a bbq mate?
I'm marinating all ingredients minus cilantro. Only had parsley on hand, but it smells sooooo goooood! Thank goodness for surgical gloves cause of the turmeric. Can't wait until tomorrow to grill 'em! Thank you for sharing!
Being a huge NON-fan of Cilantro, I think I'd substitute Tarragon, but that marinade looks edible all by itself! YUM!
Just mixed it up. Grilling over mesquite tonight. No Siracha, so I used Tabasco. How could it be bad?
Freakin love your personality so blunt 😅
Wow. This will be on my grill VERY soon.
How do you keep it from sticking to the grill
Even though this video is like 4 years old I’m marinating chicken thighs as we speak With this marinade.Sam taught me about chicken thighs and it’s going to be hard to go back to chicken breast.
Did u add paprika and black pepper…… any way it smells good lol… I never used turmeric in my yogurt marinade I’ll try this weekend
What grill do you have?
Your kitchen is amazing
More grilling recipes pls
And what kind of grill is that?
That grill is on a episode of him going into a store that sells cooking equipment. A red one just like that stainless steel one he is using with the drop top lid.
Still one of my favorite ways to eat chicken since I saw this video
My god this looks delicious, will have to try soon! Thanks Sam, you're the man/guy

Hi Sam . I have tumeric already :-) and this is a great recipe . I love your kitchen and the outdoor area is lovely . Max is doing a great job too :-)
But what do we do with all those left over marinates? Any ideas?
Won't overnight marinating in such an acidic marinade ruin the meat? Isn't the greek yogurt and lemon juice terrible for overnight?
Its basically how tikka chicken is before masala sauce
You are the best!!! Making this tonight love you Sam you make us want to cook 😍
I like the camera guy, how he just wanders around.
Thanks Sam
because we like to laugh at him doing that 100% of the time; it's borderline patented
Gotta agree with you on the tumeric. If you're doing a yogurt marinade kind of thing then you probably need some tumeric. Yurp. Good call sammich genius!
Do you close the lid when grilling?
Sam merry Christmas!! I would love a new grill and to come chill with you in Cali
Now that they have moved, what lucky person bought their old house with that AMAZING backyard setup?
Add a Little "Chaat Masala" on the top of this and it will rock your taste bud. Just on top. Check on Amazon if you can't find it at a near by store.
Made it ! Really tasry
Keeping chicken on yogurt over night does insane things, try different seasonings find your favorite, doesn't matter the yogurt
That was a new interesting taste. Really good!
Isnt that basically chicken swarma minus the sauce and pita?
Awesome! Bet you’re a beast in business too. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
Going to make this today
College student here. So since i dont have a grill, would this still be possible in a skillet??
Marlon Breaux I did something similar to this using a cast iron skillet. Came out perfect, so I’d say yes.
Either foreman grill or grill pan. I’m sure it’d still be fine in a skillet
The volume level is a little bit low.
Isn't there a button or knob on your device that is designed to fix that problem on your end?
he's right. It is low. Best to wear headphones for this video
Turn up your hearing aid, mite need new batterys
@@ryangi5 yea but I figured they're equipment wouldn't have any issues on that end.
I mean dude did go to school for that stuff......
You need to use concert speakers
Hey Sammy don’t play with fire u can burn ur hands … lol good job
Important Safety Tip: To avoid burning your hands, use the near side of your grill, not the center. (learned that one the hard way LOL!) Great recipe. Next on my list to try!

Winston Poindexter it’s drier than thighs no doubt. He’s right
Someone buy him those 16 inch tongs from Amazon lol
Mine came out more orange than yellow
That camera lens makes it look like you live in a tube or maybe you live in a tube? Is that table really arrow shaped?
Like a tandoori chicken
I hope plain yogurt will sub ok, cause I'm making this now!!
May I ask how it went?
@@crispykett it worked out great. Was super delicious.
Looks fucking delicious
'No reason to add fat'
And I'm out
But what if I only have heavy cream?
omg, he's canadian???!!
I'd rather lime
Cilantro + Lime - good call Ben
whats up with the low audio
Sorry, Sam. Greek non-fat does not compare to regular yougurt. Your signal has always been "flavor". Do not dissapoint us.
Can stuff like this be crock potted?
does your crock pot have a open flame?
Stop
I agree with your wife, my husband agrees with you, I cook thighs for him and breasts for me in same marinades it’s a win-win in our house!

Smoking
I like Sam in the kitchen w bare feet 😄
Very low voice sound, no idea what the chicken recipe man said.
He only rinsed his hands with water after handling raw chicken? No soap
What is wrong with the sound?
Can barely hear it
Beautiful recipe but could if made it more interesting
Cayenne pepper would make it amazing.
I realize this is not the right date for your "kidney stone" issue... but I hope you get the message anyway and I hope you are through with it!
Your feet bother me so much. Then you pointing your toes it was all to much in the first five minutes.
I hate you. Now o cant stop noticing that. Thanks asshole lol
I was trying to get my ears to pop, watching this was like driving up on Big Bear Mt. my volume button wouldn’t help, I going to have to see my counselor now, how does that make you feel.
Seriously Sam, your disregard for cross-contamination is appalling...love the recipe tho.
Lol, ikr
yall are seriously worried about cross-contamination . I cook like this all the time. Honestly, I am even more reckless. I have never been sick from food and neither have my guest. Yall need to build up your immune systems
Willie Freeze I bet you cross contaminate all the ladies too bro! ATM! You the Man!!!

Why does he need to wear shoes? #TheSandwichStory #Πώςφτιάχνουμετζατζίκι
Leave my dad alone
It's his kitchen you asshole!!
It's his chicken he is not cooking with his feet. I never wear shoes, even when I am outside. Hate them.....
