Hey Sam, I just made this tonight and my parents loved it! You have inspired me to cook and go way out of my comfort zone. This is about the 10th meal of yours I’ve cooked. Keep up the good work and don’t listen to the negative comments.

Made this myself today and chicken came out perfect. I always recommend leveling out chicken to same thickness also. 8minutes each side has always been the perfect time for chicken on my grill. It’s very easy to burn Garlic when you get to that step also by the way so be careful people. I added lemon juice on top after. Couldn’t resist because I love lemon. Thanks for the video Sam.

Food network went way south after Emeril left them. He sold to Martha Stewart in the late 1990's and she did nothing with it, no surprise. Sadly, Emeril is now pushing products on late night TV channels. He should go back to "Cooking with Emeril" as he honestly presents his recipes better than most not to mention, he is very comfortable in a kitchen environment unlike Bobby Flay.

Do not drop your parsley on the oil, add it at the end, when tossing the pasta to form the emulsion, with the pan off the heat so to avoid burning the aromatics like you did. Also, a bit of lemon juice goes a long way as well.

Yo Sam! I'm a big fan, but this time you burnt the garlic and the parsley xD
To prepare this recipe you must have the oil at a really low temp and start with the garlic not crispying it but almost boiling it in the oil so that all its perfumes get to the oil.
    Anyway, thanks 4 the video!

The garlic was perfectly fine. Brown-edge garlic is likely a little sweeter as it's caramelized a bit. The parsley is also pretty fine considering he tossed it when it still had plenty of green hues.

Meh, I've lived in the Tampa Bay area 49 years now. Never had a single hurricane. Had a few come close and got some tropical storm force winds from Irma knocking out power for a few days but that's the worst we've had in all that time. People who think all of Florida constantly gets smacked by hurricanes are just talking shit and don't know wth they are talking about. But yea, it's hot and humid. Duh it's a sub tropical climate. If you can stand the heat move out of the kitchen. :)

Btw Michael was just short of a 5, it was a very strong 4.
I'd much rather live in an area susceptible to hurricanes then to earthquakes. At least the former you have some warning and time to get the hell out of the way.

My first comment (personal opinion) was that the weather sucks and hurricanes suck. Your response was Meh (meaning whatever). To directly address your comment, hurricanes do hit your area and they do damage property and infrastructure. I guess some people do think that hurricanes hit all areas of Florida but to their defense, every inch of the Florida coastline has experienced major hurricane strikes (Only the very central part of Florida has not seen major hurricane strikes, according to the NHC.). Actually, what was your point. Only a part of one of your statements was a fact, upper and central Florida is humid subtropical but the very southern tip is Tropical. Also, I have been in a major earthquake, there was no warning (San Francisco earthquake of 1989, Magnitude 6.9), it sucked.

To anyone that think that hands should be gloved. Do you realize the the meat cutters and journeymen aka butchers, do not use gloves while cutting the meat you buy at the grocery store? It is a safety issue the gloves could catch the blade of the band saw, the only thing you as the consumer can do is either go vegan or pray like hell the butcher washes his hands frequently.

I made this last night and it was incredible. Didn’t have any garlic powder so just used some more finely minced garlic on the chicken rub. Also had some mushrooms left over in the fridge so chopped those up and fried them up in the pan after I’d taken the pasta out - soaked up all the flavour. Ooooooooh.

I absolutely love this dish. My wife asks me to make this about once a week. I took a 4 day canoe trip with the family in the middle of nowhere Saskatchewan and this meal in the middle of the bush. Easily has to be the fanciest meal made at this remote camp site. #STCG has elevated my kitchen game to a whole new level. Love the show.

I suppose you think they come at the same time od day or even the same day every week or month? Lol, NOT. The fact is anyone who has ever worked an outside service job like lawn care, pool care etc knows a schedule only holds up til the first rain then all bets are off and you're always behind trying to catch up.
Keep on with your keyboard warrior know it all backseat driver comments tho, they're entertaining.

In our house we do a 50/50 mix of fresh ground ( or deli ground and bought) Parmesan and Romano cheese.
Btw that looks fantastic and I can already attest that it tastes fantastic without even tasting it. Ive been eating pasta made that way since I was a kid.
