I don't think I've ever been so excited over a simple radio call. Very nice capturing the feeling of the moment. It was a very "serious" thing, Dani handled it nicely.

Lots of great dialogue in this video! eg, “Be professional.” eg, “I’m not a serious person.” eg, “I feel like a 1-year-old.”
I remember what it was like. So intimidating

Really enjoyable. Reminds me of my first lesson and how utterly terrifying it was to talk on the radio.

That was so awesome! I can’t watching with tiptoe anticipation. Will she make the call, will she stumble, will she up speak she did such a great job! Bravo!

Ha, this is great. I took my wife on her first GA flight yesterday out of PDK and asked if she wanted to talk on the radio. She was having none of it.

Well done to Dani. That first call is always the hardest. Just a thought, and this could go to anyone helping a friend/student who is nervous about talking on the radio, maybe suggest adding an ! to the end of what they write down to help alleviate the "upspeak".

That was great, well done! Love how you ‘explained’ what it meant. To me, that helps to understand it better rather than just saying words.

I felt every bit of her angst….brings back memories! Love that you kept encouraging her until she built up the confidence 👏
