Beautiful fabrication skills sir! Would you happen to have dimensions you used? I have some 4" tubing and an old hotwater tank I want to make one from...Thank you so much for sharing!
Super zrobione !! fajnie ze schowales palenisko w srodku, ja dalem przed i mysle ze masz lepiej to rozwiazane. ja zrobilem za maly piec i nie ma szans by zlapac 20+ ;) ;) Pozdrawiam ;)
The issue I see with this heater is it's impossible to clean out the secondary chamber, most people build these heaters from old gas cylinders cut into two halves so that the top half can be removed to clean out fly ash. Nice looking heater though.
I like the pellet stove system and always wanted to develop one for off grid type use. The ones in the United States are good but only if you have electricity. This is a great idea as long as you can deal with the ashes. If you have a good draw of air to lift the ash and drop it in a convenient place for removal that would be best
very good!! Could you send me more details? Yield at that temperature in kg of pellets. The white material is salt? Can you send me a plan with measurements? Thanks ... Carlos
Над любой печкой в разрыв трубы ставиш бочкус отбойником пламени/в центре просто лист/ Тепло поднимаеться как по змеевику. Жара уже через 7_10 минут после растопки. Да и от сажи проще чистить.
To improve this stove you can add a "Sand Battery" to it which will allow it to continue to put out heat even after the fire goes out. Take a 15 to 20 centimeter pipe, cap 1 end, split it lengthwise down the middle, weld each half to the outside of the barrel and fill with sand. The fire will heat the sand and then the sand will release the heat.
I did a more primitive analog: two large rocks in front, toward the sides of the fireplace. They got hot! However, the heat they absorbed, well, half of it went back towards the chimney... Conclusion, you lose about half the heat otherwise emitted to the house, to the chimney. I checked and sure enough, the rocks weren't as hot as the radiated heat from the fire.
A little tip.... An infrarot thermoscan doesnt work quit well on silver or reflecting things, almost moise it doesnt like... The temperature is not real... Almost between 20 and 30 degree lower on silver... Maybe try black color on a place and you will see the difference ....over and under the black Spot it is lower than on the black spot... Really... I tested it a few times
To best heat an indoor area you MUST get intake air from outside. Rocket stoves more than conventional stoves rely on the expansion from combustion making colder outside air better for performance. Possibly even more importantly is the fact that drawing heated indoor air comes from leaks in the heated environment. By drawing the fuel air from outside does not consume already heated air and does not create drafts from whatever indoor leaks you need for oxygen.
Nice stove! Thank you for not giving us any measurements or explanation of what or why your doing things. I'm sure I could not build this correctly from watching your video.
Ja u siebie w wakacje będę robił instalacje czyli piec z płaszczem wodnym do tego grzejniki a to wszystko zalane płynem chlodniczym.
No clean out. Looks GREAT but if you would of added a bottom under the fire box you could keep running it as it would be a pain to stop and clean out as ash would keep building up
@@gregx1044 do you know what the perlite does? is it isoliting the heat? if that is the case? why? dont we want as much heat as possible coming out of that chimney? sorry for my terrible English.
@@jonathansalomonsson8163 Perlite is expanded volcanic glass. It is a thermal insulator and also has high heat tolerance. The perlite is being used to contain the heat inside the chimney. That will keep the temperature higher, and give a cleaner combustion.
@@jonathansalomonsson8163 he wanted the heat to stay in the room. Thats why he showed us the pipes temp was ten times less than the heater. No waste of heat.

But what use? A similar stove is made much easier. Of course even faster and cheaper.
