My suggestion - Make the bottom of your square pipe longer so it extends out the back same as the front . also extend the ash tray to be longer so you can use the front face that has the pull handle as an air controller so you can control the heat of your cooking stove. This will give easy control of the stoves heat for more controllable cooking. I really like your design !!!
This is great, not only are you using all the heat, you are also preventing your utensils from getting dirty from all the soot. You can probably cook indoors with that just add more pipes and redirect the smoke outside through a window.

Only change I'd make is to baffle the interior of the lower half of the grill with four partial dividers creating five channels running the length of the grill. Left to right center chamber would be from the firebox entrance to the right side, next two chambers outward would be right to left, and outer chambers would be left to right again under the edge of the griddle running out to the exhaust. That would maximize your use of the combustion and heat, as you distribute it evenly creating a hot spot along the center of the griddle. A lot less smoke and heat escaping the chimney that way.

Btw how to remove soot under the steel plate you welded on rocket stove i mean carbon will stuck under it how to remove it later i mean how to clean it. After use it over time
Thank you. I tried using a hammer to gently tap the top of the iron plate, all the soot would fall off and I tilted the stove up so it fell into the combustion chamber.
Great start but needs work. You didn't make a rocket stove because you have smoke drifting out of the chimney. A rocket stove creates such a strong draft it makes a rocket sound and so much heat, all the smoke is burned. You simply made a nice portable wood burning stove. Make the riser taller, insulate it, and introduce enough air so the hot gas has enough heat and time to burn completely. Then let it into a chamber and cook on top of *that*.
I wouldn't of put the wood fill in the front I would of put it on the end ,you know when using it the heat would come out some and maybe little smoke and it's kinda in the way to when cooking.
Man you need practice welding skill more. Dont tick a toe like that, that was very bad welding and can break easily. Its only look nice outside after you sanding all the mold
You should check if the inner of the bottle is safe for food and for heating high temperature. A friend of mine working in metal painting told me he shall never use that sort of bottle to make a bbq.
Thank you. This is an old water heater, the inside is painted with a layer of electrostatic paint. With the temperature of this oven, the paint will not affect it and will be safe for cooking.
Neat litle stove, I was impressed by your ability to weld the thin metal with your stick welder, most people would likely use a MIG welder, or perhaps a Tig welder because those machines seems better suited to welding thin metal, but you have mastered it. 😀 I would not have attempted such a welding job on sheet metal with a stick welder, and using oxy and acetylene would tend to cause warping of the thin metal unless every small weld sectiond made is quickly cooled with a wet rag, and even then it might need some panelbeating to make it look good. I would use MIG, not skilled enough to do such welding with a stick welder.😩 I guess if you made the hotplate of thicker steel it would be more suited for barbecuing as well, but it would then be heavy and take longer to get hot enough to heat up a kettle or pot.!🙄 Stay safe, regards Niels.

I have seen designs where they are channeled through cob thermal masses to absorb a good amount of heat but this stove is a brilliant design.
