Yes, I am. She mentioned the reason why I am so excited at the beginning of the video. This is like combining my Atem Mini Pro Iso with my RCP 2 to into a smaller - more portable foot print. I love it. I am still learning how to apply all that this peace of gear has to offer. I just wish Rode did this earlier 😆😅🤣
thanks this is the best tutorial, did my recording video is fine audio channel shows in Premier pro but there is no sound did I export it wrongly? am using an a7siii,sm7db and my castervideo😢
This was...I'm not kidding...exactly what I needed to see. This is the exact setup I'm going for and it's such a relief to see how seamlessly it works! THANK YOU 🙏🏻
Nicely done! Would love to see multiple audio inputs in action. I've done live events where it's mostly two people but then switch to a panel of up to 5 guests. Would love to know the limits of this thing. So far it seems perfect for what I'd want to work with. Thanks for your videos! 💜

@kriedholm i did just press the record button on the RCV with my hard drive connected got 2 folders. 1 with audio files and the other with video and audio as seen Premier Pro but its mute🥲,tried different players but no audio😪
Love your videos, learn a lot. When you go from the single camera pointing on you to the dashboard on Rode Central, there’s a very noticeable hiss when you’re on the computer demonstration versus when you’re on a single camera on you and your audio on the SM7B I ran into something similar. Do you know what’s causing it? Keep up the great work.
You're welcome! Not sure about your device specifically, but here's the current list of UVC Devices that are supported: help.rode.com/hc/en-us/articles/10897100009743-Supported-Webcams-and-Other-USB-Video-Devices-for-the-R%C3%98DECaster-Video. Note: "Any device that is able to provide a minimum 1080p24 uncompressed UVC video stream will be compatible."
Kri, please explain somthing to me: If the RODECaster Video puts out only 1080p, then how come this video is in 4K? Did you upscale it using a software, That's a little misleading, don't you think? We're watching your reviews so that we can SEE the actual result, but this video isn't the REAL result, please explian. thank you.
This is a good point although upscaling 1080 footage in a 4k timeline during the edit doesn't increase the quality of the footage. Additionally, you can change your view settings in UA-cam to 1080 while watching to see what that quality looks like.
@kriedholm So, what was your process? Did you take the 1080 file and upscale it to 4k in an editing software? We just want to know what we're actually looking at here in the video.
@@kriedholm BTW Kri, is there any way i can use only my laptop (no extra display monitor) to view my multi view? instead of bringing a laptop AND a display monitor with me? Thank you.
Are you as excited as I am about the Rodecaster Video?

Thank you! Now that I have my base setup tested, I'll definitely be expanding on my usage and testing. More to come!

Kri, thx for this video. Do you know if the Insta360 Link (original) is supported by the RCV?

where does it hold the ISO files so you can edit the mix?
I use an external ssd
No lower third text like the Yolobox Ultra
You can design overlays and display however you’d like
