I had to search for the articles in an avalanche of ads like I was looking for a lottery ticket. I found Jerry Brainum's articles at APPLIED ERGOGENICS online on bodybuilding, sports nutrition and fitness online with no ads . Best read online.None of the articles I found compare to Jerry Brainum!

Just watched your new video about Optimum Nutrition Supplements and i really like it. i'm still confused about what to use exactly.
My goals are to gain some mass this winter and then start cutting around Januar-Febuary.
Right now i'm taking these:
ON Creatine Monohydrate
ON Serious Mass
Cellucor C4 Preworkout
Am i missing anything or? Just wanna know your opinion and what you think that i should take to get some good mass.

80% of people who are about to rip on Steve Cook about these supplements have zero Idea what they're talking he's making suggestions and teaching the general public he's not necessarily saying everyone who's going to lift needs this or that. He's merely giving an incite to each products affects, relax. These help him have the extra edge in ELITE competition, not your local gym where you're going in for the fact to just improve yourself.

Hi, so im trying to bulk, im 16, 5ft8 and 119lbs, am i right in saying that i should be taking serious mass, whey, creatine, opti-men, and amino acids in order to get bigger muscles and bulkier?

My biggest problem is not going catabolic because of having hypo glycemia. I'm still working on getting my eating routine down but I still feel like some supplements could help me keep my body from going catabolic and staying anabolic. I think I'm saying this right.

May be u have some suggestion for martial arts purpose.. Im using ON for sure(wgs,casein,and zma), my diet was good.. I just need some suggestion about this supplements, coz there was a lot of products from ON and im will not consume all of that products without any reason..

Respect to Steve Cook for not forcing supplements, especially ON supps down our throats.
Granted he is sponsored by ON so he has more supplements at his disposal than most of us, but he is straight forward about their benefits, what he takes and he emphasizes that these are supplements to a good diet and hard training.
You gave overall advice for guys, how about one for girls? I for example can only take half a scoop of pre-workout (makes me to jittery) and two-thirds of a scoop of BCAA. Can you bring Katy to talk about her supplement regiment in more detail?

The lady at my local supplement store told me that the ON brand fish oil pills are actually no good. She said they aren't made well and don't last long. Apparently they go bad after only two weeks of being on the shelf. Anyone know anything about this?

Hi Steve. Just wanted to mention that the only way for the muscles to get energy is via ATP, breaking it down to ADP. You mention that the body can use other ways of getting energy in the creatine segment. But i think your mistaken it with the body's ability to get ATP from different sources (carbs, fat, protein and alcohol) and thereby different chainreactions

2 scoops of platinum pre on leg and abb day is amazing
do higher repetitions on each set instead of 3 sets of 8-10 do 3sets of 15-20 on a good weight for you and you will see a definition to your muscle after a while but you have to give it time. also make sure its a weight you can lift easily but not to easy because if its to heavy your muscles will get bigger. hope this helped
