This is the power of internet. My cardiologist could never take that much time with each and every of his patients to explain the causes of cardiovascular disease. But in one video, Dr Gupta brings these clear and sensible inputs potentially to thousands of patients. And he does it in style with a warm heart.

The untimely death of this young man has affected you and others greatly. You are at present grieving the loss of your dad and now the sudden death of this young man. As a cardiology nurse, for more than 3 decades, one thing I’ve learned is how unpredictable heart attacks can be. The very nature of heart disease is very hard to predict when or how a coronary thrombosis aka heart attack is imminent. Often the first 2 responses in human nature are
    1) first symptom denial
    2) Last symptom sudden death.

I have to wonder if a common culprit to the silent build up of inflammation, is stress.
Years ago, my dentist attended a dental conference in California.
A few weeks later during my next apointment I asked him how it went. He said he learned alot but was especially intrigued in what was revealed on the effects of stress. He told me the estimated % of people in this country who grind their teeth at night while sleeping (and don't even realise they do it). I cannot remember that %, but it was huge. He even discovered that he does it. That was truly surprising becuase I replied " Doc you strike me as one of the most calm people I have ever met". He said: " I truly feel that I am. My wife and kids would agree with you. But nonetheless like many people, I too grind my teeth. Something about today's society. It is so stressful just to exist in it. And we truly don't fully understand just how profound it's impact is on us".

It would be interesting to know if this young and healthy man, Sidharth, was vaccinated recently. The different amount of inflammation across the patients is not even recorded by the medical providers and we don't have data about the true side effects of the vaccines as this "side effect" is not even an " option" to be recorded. My uncle died after the first vaccine. My aunt almost died and barely survived. Both were very healthy and athletic. The vaccine was not even the " reason" for it. I did not want to pursue for truth, so that the family does not get more pain than already present with the shock. Loving relationships, sleep and meditation would probably be the top of the restoration we need for a healthy heart.

Very I presume but then again doctors go through gruelling residency to prepare them for sismilar events. Also, my cardiologist has asked me to do meditation to lower anxiety and blood pressure so I presume a lot of them do the same.

As the sibling of 2 Doctors, I can assure you that they try, but cannot always practice what they preach in terms of stress. I know my lot are active and enjoy exercise and getting out in nature and they love food, but try not to eat junk food. Unfortunately, medicine and surgery are very competitive as professions and involve long hours, frequent moves of jobs, lots of study outside of work and trying to be there for husband/wife and kids. Not easy.

Hope is family find peace.. I myself thankfully survived a heart attack at age 35. I'm 46 now. I had pericarditis and it put me in hospital. my attack was in hospital. Since then I had 2 other cases of pericarditis. Much milder or maybe I knew what was going on and coped better. We all know to eat healthy and exercise and everything in moderation but it always seems to take a trauma for us to kick-start that healthy kick. It's not easy but it's beyond beneficial. Stay safe and look after yourself and each other 💪

There's speculation that Sidharth's heart attack may have been triggered by his body-building workout regime which may have included over-use of anabolic steroids. This makes one question what has become the "norm" in terms of male action-hero movie stars (starting with Schwarzanegger 40 years ago). This look is just expected and required now...and stars work hard to extend this into middle age. And sometimes they take some chemical assistance to prepare for a lucrative role. It's crazy...and should change.

I wonder why left out antioxidants for reducing the inflammation. The dietary ones among antioxidants are , in INDIA, turmeric and Indian gooseberry ( amla). A great saint in India used to say , " Amla for the body and RAM NAM fir the soul." Recent studies have also found plant based diets are better than animal based diets for cardio vascular health. Thanks.

I think your question is legitimate, considering the times we are in. Data does support that the V can cause inflammation in the body's cardiovascular system, especially in young men. It's also important to question this elephant-in-the-room because we are still in the experimental phase of this new type of V. We are still discovering the side effects, so it's important to note them to truly know what the risks are.
