Cumberland Island with Sisters on the Fly

Members of Sisters on the Fly ( the nation's largest outdoor women's adventure group www.sistersont... ) camped for three nights on Cumberland Island off the coast of Southeast Georgia in May 2023.
Cumberland Island National Seashore offers abundant wildlife including feral horses, varieties of shore birds, turtles, deer, armadillo, possums, turkeys, wild hogs, alligators and more. It is a nature lover's paradise with miles of easy trails through old maritime forests full of Spanish oaks and a wide long stretch of undeveloped beach. There's also plenty of history to be discovered and explored.
