Turn 90 degrees, like you're still walking down the sidewalk, so you don't look like you're waiting to cross. This fools those annoying prick drivers so they won't stop. It's also good to keep moving as well, just a little bit. As the car approaches, just keep walking, very very slowly. It's like a fake-out routine. Make them think you're not planning to cross, then when they're past, you're good to go. Been doing that my entire life. Also, loving your new channel. Yeah, "Just go" applies to several driving situations. Like people who stop at a yield sign when there's no traffic or some cars coming up that they could easily get in front of if they didn't slow down and were paying attention to traffic, and those people who slow way down to merge onto high speed highways. Also people who block the left lane of the highway to pass semi-trucks going 1 mile per hour slower than them without speeding up any. They're part of the reason I moved close to work. >_>
Don't forget about people who stop at the "KEEP MOVING" signs in the right-turn lanes of intersections. You know, where the lane you will be turning into is the _beginning of a new lane._

I used to give a quick look and go, I almost got in a near-wreck once with a cop no less, booking 80mph without lights or sirens coming through one of those yield area's, I looked, nothing coming, I move forward, he comes screaming through and we almost hit because of it. He turns around, hits the lights and pulls me over. He did the whole "Didn't you see me.' I was like "No, I didn't, no lights or siren, I thought I was clear." He took my info and let me off with a warning. Also I look both ways when turning into a one way street. My philosophy is simple "If someone is coming the other direction... they got bigger problems than I do and deserve the right of way."

Those aren't a thing where I live, but I've seen them while traveling. I'm talking about where you have a long merge lane and more than enough time to look the one way traffic is going to come from (because it's a major highway like that) plus where you're going without slowing down much. It's fine to slow down some on this type of yield too, but idiots in my area sometimes literally treat it like a stop sign and might get rear-ended by people behind them. And when you merge onto a highway that's part of the interstate system, you're supposed to increase your speed to match what you're merging onto while you're in the very long merge lane and then yield as necessary when you get nearer to the end (and see the yield sign), but some people go so slow down the merging lane that they then have to stop and wait for a large break because they can't suddenly jump to 60 to 80 mph, you see? Also, _always_ look both ways. I never said not to pay attention to the road. You nerver know what you'll see. I'm fairly certain that a lot of these idiots that stop when they shouldn't do so because they weren't paying attention to know that they can go. Too busy checking their phones I bet.

As someone that's been to Portland once or twice: Yeah holy fuck I hate it. Pretty to look at from afar, probably gonna get shanked by a meth-head if you're walking around certain sections of it. If I ever meet you on my next visit for whatever bullshit I get dragged into, I wanna really thank you in-person for all the entertainment you've given me throughout the years because God damn man, I missed this. Now with more real life reliability! The younger the people are the more points you earn if you just keep going I say.

This is why if there's going to be any question about it, like, _real_ question, I just turn my back to the oncoming car so instinct momentarily takes over on the driver and they know I don't want their consideration. If I had to deal with someone stopping and cussing me out, it would take some self-control to not walk over and slap their shit, but I'm sure I'd fire back about what and how much of a dumbass they are.

As someone that's been to Portland once or twice: Yeah holy fuck I hate it. Pretty to look at from afar, probably gonna get shanked by a meth-head if you're walking around certain sections of it. If I ever meet you on my next visit for whatever bullshit I get dragged into, I wanna really thank you in-person for all the entertainment you've given me throughout the years because God damn man, I missed this. Now with more real life reliability! The younger the people are the more points you earn if you just keep going I say.

Now I feel conflicted. I'm one of those people who answers the questions. I figure if YT is gonna be nice enough to not make me watch an ad, I can take a second to check a box or two. This is why if there's going to be any question about it, like, _real_ question, I just turn my back to the oncoming car so instinct momentarily takes over on the driver and they know I don't want their consideration. If I had to deal with someone stopping and cussing me out, it would take some self-control to not walk over and slap their shit, but I'm sure I'd fire back about what and how much of a dumbass they are.
