This is part of my Week 5 Business Management online course readings... We are learning so many different leadership styles. So far, relational leadership style with transformation leadership theory dominate most of our weekly readings that is best suited for 21st Century businesses (for founders and executive leaders), especially big successful companies. This video broke down leadership styles quite differently. This video is mostly pertaining to the members of the firm/company/business, etc. working with other members. The breakdown is quite easy to follow. Thank you.
The video talks about personality traits of individuals/members/employees & how each person would work well if his/her traits matches with another person in an organization. Personality traits will dictate one's leadership style.
Using various combination of leadership styles while adapting one's personality traits is one of the best ways to be a successful leader. Leaders need to be structural (both assertive & passive)--looking to the future while having ability dealing with day to day functions in an organization. A tough leadership style to master, but it's worth exploring
This was helpful in understanding leadership styles...I understood that you may have a more dominant style yet you can adapt but the key to adapting is understanding the other persons dominant style as well.
Professor that a great and braveful explanations that W Axis are talker extroverted are so motivated and we don't care about how people behave to us,because we have high energy and E Axis. Has intraverted that carry great information data the striaght line. Is call vertical Axis that makes people feels informal in every thing they are doing it shows that we don't have cofidence. So D can not communicate directly a sound explantion from you professor. S is some how caring. Nice illustrastion.
Great Video, I am High C and High S. I am a business owner, what disc style should my; Project Manager be? High D and High C? Acquisitions Specialist be? High D and High I? Office Manager be? High S and High C?
I'm sorry, but this is absolutely ridiculous and contradicts basic leadership principles--successful leaders don't have "A" leadership style and force people to respond to it, they ADAPT and select an appropriate style based on a given situation. Wow.

There is no real good combination; instead, have all styles and personalities for the results of the power of positive deviance.
Christ on the cross! What did I just watch!?
