I played WCUE in beta, when it was a small community of Roblox players in love with the books enough that they would unlock a paywall to enjoy a well-built and creative RPG about them. I still play the game from time-to-time, but it's just not the same. It's lost all charm and sense of cannon, and it's a MIRACLE when someone who's taking on an important role knows what they're doing... not to mention the certain behaviors of moderators. I miss this game being simple and sweet, where a band of teenagers would run around as their OCs and pretend they know how to use medicinal herbs. I was disappointed and got to watch when they made WCUE full release. I'm still disappointed in what this game has become. Will I still play it? Sure, but it's exhausting and I can't play it for long periods at a time like before. At least I can still find my love for it by dying of infection due to a popped seroma within in the medicine den. :]

The game is mostly occupied with people who aren’t fans of warriors at all and only really wanted to make a cat oc and play around with it. Which I have no problem with anyone can play the game, it’s just something I’ve noticed lmao.

OG warrior players remember the days we had like 5 different canon- from the books territories, until the official one came in and closed them all I miss the gorge skyclan map 😩 And that one Lake Territory that had the whole giant tunnel system and starclan/darkforest areas.
you could actually make a game doing that if you bought the item i think, you could place the model for the item in the game and then put a fire model onto the model for the mini, and then it will look like the mini is burning
@@-Random101 savannah and bengal cats are both hybrids of domestic cats and wild cats- earlier generations that include more wild-cat blood are considered unsafe and even banned in certain countries due to how wild they are. more diluted generations are a little more safe, though they still act very wild. aka not the best breed to go out of your way to include in the game while focusing on cat health lmao . me personally I think they should just forget going out of their way to be realistic since they're kind of bad at it and instead focus on things that are in the books
the weird eye mesh reminds me of myself when i tried to make lps customs back when i was a kid. still not very good with a paintbrush. 3D modeling is very interesting! great video :3

As a WCUE player since alpha, The limited ugc quality don't surprise me. Wcue usually has events but they have bugs or you crash every second. The game is mid to an extent. They also have a ton of trollers. My bet is Squilf will be next! (also all the gamepasses are ungodly expensive)

There were multiple wc games on roblox back in the day Lake territory, old forest territory, skyclan territory, even some oc clans There's still some still up,but they're not as popular as Wcue. Wcue is pretty good, but I miss the old games too. Idk they just felt more sincere? I feel like wcue is just so capitalized. I guess it's the same feel I have for sims 4 compared to the sim 3 Like I like lot the aspects, but there's also stuff from the old games I miss. Or maybe just feeling nostalgic for when I was a little kid XD
@@painthedoll Lake territory, at least the popular tube cat one back in around 2012-2013 was by mandaka, they also had made the forest territory and now I'm thinking about it, I think they might have made the gorge as well? But I'm not sure about the 3rd one as i only have copies of the forest and lake (Lake needs new terrain though)
@@painthedoll i have a kind of wild experiance with those older games, that makes me not really miss it lol. i got bullied on there for making my cat "too blue". by a literal moderator. for some reason, they teleported me into a cage and told me i couldn't play because my cat was too blue. i just- it's so silly. this was when i was like, 9 or 10 years old. i like the newer game becuase nothing like this can happen now.

I haven't gotten on it in a long while (I don't even have Roblox, my friends let me play on their accounts) but almost every time in the more recent ones there'd be people doing some kind of "fox" or "princess school" roleplay

i hate wcue because these kids will scream at me for making a medicine cat for a clan "without permission" as if they own the game. i wasn't even joining their roleplay, i was just playing the game and wandering... but they yelled. did they not realize thunderclan had 3 at a point and most clans have 2 regularly.
I hate it but Roblox always tags the names T-T I think it’s been fixed so they don’t tag as much but still very irritating to have to put an apostrophe in between names

I miss Mandaka's games so much! That's where I met my best friend nine years ago lol, we've both migrated through all of the WC warrior cats games as they were popular (Mandaka's, Zyphorx's, Vizavi's, etc.) and every now and then we go onto WCUE mostly to goof around. We don't interact too much with the people there (being 19 and 20 it feels slightly strange to try and make friends with actual children, we always end up feeling a bit old and out of touch whenever we reference SSSWarriorCats or something similar lol), but WCUE has amazing character customization tools, so it's perfect for making OCs, especially if you can't draw or don't feel like drawing. It's true that a lot of people on there are a bit elitist, but it was the same even back in Mandaka's days of popularity. There are plenty of very nice people though, and I find that more often than not the inexperienced RPers are much nicer and come up with much better stories than the "EXP" crowd, who all tend to be a bit exclusatory and rude. It's a really fun game even just to watch other people RP and interact, lol

As someone who was a young warrior cats fan, and someone who played wcue for a year or two straight, I’ll say… the game is kind of insufferable unless you have friends or get lucky in a good server. The fact that it’s become a staple to put an apostrophe between the prefix and suffix of an oc’s name - for example - really peeves me. Though I don’t wanna yuck people’s yum. At least that’s me - I’m a more serious Roblox player. The game is well made, but technically not optimized at all either, and in many cases runs poorly. Looks pretty, but actual coding is.. ok. Not to mention the devs are iffy so I don’t support the game anymore, and frankly regret spending all the robux I did. I don’t play much anymore, I’m looking forward to other warrior games in development. Though, wcue was a pillar in developing my warrior cats characters, so I don’t take it exactly for granted.

as somebody who used to be heavily involved in the roblox warrior cats community i am really not surprised by the quality. i wouldn’t be surprised if whoever made these was paid a pile of lint and a paperclip. the people who work on this game should not be working on a game for children.
Also, all of them are just copy-pasted. They do not have different tail positions or shapes or any extras. They made one base model and then just hastily added and sculpted the rest. For a game that makes as much money as WCUE and could hire quality people, this is insulting to the players/fans and I'm baffled how Coolabi gave the okay to this.
for those looking for good RP on wcue , the experienced/older roleplayers tend to be a part of Long Term roleplays -- essentially these are roleplays with their own lore and community, run by wcue users on their own discord servers and using a wcue private server, and are often advertised on wcue's discord. I've been part of one for almost a year now and I won't even try to attempt public server RP now.

If I had to guess, the Roblox minis were made by someone who has little to no experience making Roblox UGCs (or 3D modeling in general) and/or was on a very tight deadline. I don't blame them.
More than likely when it comes to things like this the people that actually worked on creating them were probably pressured by a ridiculous deadline. Rarely do designers for companies actually have the freedom to design something the way they actually want to. I've seen that kind of issue even with massive companies much larger than WC. What ends up happening is that there's a head that will tell the designers to go ahead and start working on the product, only for them at one point to decide its taking too long and to severely cut down on the amount of time they actually have to do so. All while wanting to cut costs and unfortunately destroying the creativity of the actual designers. There's also the possibility that the original designer for these models had to stop for whatever reason and the responsibility was moved to another one that had to rush it or didn't have the passion for it. A lot of the time when it comes to design issues in games like this (especially in what I see in Ravenpaw's eyes) it has to do with budget cuts, the pressure of being suddenly told you have less time than originally believed, or a transfer of responsibilities.

bullying is definitely a problem in the game. i see so many people saying "ugh those people who don't know how to roleplay are so annoying!" but like.... it's a roblox game. for little kids. to play and have fun on. pretend to be a little kitty cat. if you want a serious roleplay, then you can just organize a group of people for it, you can play on a private server if it suits you best. and yeah the gatekeeping as well sucks. (and its not like i dont understand their frustration, i hate it when im trying to relax and roleplay but some rando comes up pretending to be a fox and saying "can i attack u" over and over LOLL. i just think some people take it too far.) but overall i this it's a very cute game, I don't play roblox much in general but i log into it every now n then to see what's up on wcue :3

I can explain Firestars colouring. In the game , if you go to the pink room in the kitty pet house is where Firestar is. If he was bright orange he wouldn't look nice in the room so that would make him more appealing if he was pastel. (Ok now I am begging to speak gibberish dude)
The Graystripe mini felt really rushed. The edges looked like a not-well-done green screen and it really took from the polished-ness of the character. (imo :D)

Off topic, I would love for you or somebody to make a video on the warriors timeline particularly discussing the length of time between DotC and TPB. For example, how does nobody remember skyclan??? In cloudstars journey, the thunderclan leader is Redstar. To our knowledge, redstar is succeeded by Oakstar. Who ofc is the leader during mapleshades life. I can excuse the lack of skyclan being remembered in that novella because obviously the only plot points are the ones relevant to mapleshades breakdown. But after Oakstar, there’s only Doestar and then Pinestar??? So literally how tf does the timeline work. How fast do clan traditions emerge?
As someone who grew up on warriors, I’ve fallen in and out of the fandom and jumped across lots of different accounts but for the past twelve years I somehow always end up back to binging your videos. I have so much respect for you and everything you’ve done for the community, without your channel I honestly would have forgotten the series a long time ago.
Wcue is wild, I still remember when my older sibling forced me to roleplay in that rickety old cylinder looking cat game. That to be fair -- was still a wc game.
Old forest territory! That’s where viz started, that was their game. A lot of fun memories. Now, we look at WCUE and the devs and learn their horrible people. It REALLY disgusts me how the game is “official” now when said people deserve none of that recognition or success. I still to this day regret having spent real money on it when I don’t even play and never will. I’ll happily wait for Lake Territory Reborn. I’m in their discord server and the game so far looks much better than WCUE and is actually being built by fans of the series

love the models resource screenshots. it’s super fun to play around on that website and look at the way different games handled things without having to deal with ripping models myself. wrt wcue, i used to play it a bit, and it’s a well-made game, but i fell off pretty hard after the way they reacted to native american fans expressing discomfort with ear feathers. people were being banned from the discord for discussing the accessory, but people who were being actually racist were given a pass. it was rough. (in the end they did remove the ear feather, but they added a recolorable leaf that can be made to look like feathers anyway. whatever) i kind of get the impression that they’re really reliant on their lead programmer, so the rest of the team isn’t willing to push back against him too hard, because if he gets annoyed and leaves they’d be in a lot of trouble. sorry for the three paragraphs that have nothing to do with the minis themselves lol
Specifically regarding the one panel where you talk about how you’re surprised warrior cats actually has an official game, they also made a ttrpg sort of thing that would be on the back of some prints of the books. I’ve never played it before, but I would always read through them because the pre-made adventures they put in there seemed interesting!!
I still play on WCUE pretty often, and even though it is rare to find a good roleplay were the people actually know anything about the books, or how the roles work, It is still fun to play on even so. It's especially fun when there are new comers that don't know anything about the book series, or that it is even about a book series, and I get to teach them about it. It may not be the same game it was years ago but when you're playing with friends I still tend to enjoy it. People can be rude sometimes, but nothing is stopping anyone from finding a different server. I still find the events fun, and I've met a good handful of really nice folks on there, overall In my opinion I still think WCUE can be fun with the right mindset
Generally not everyone who plays the game reads the books, if anything the opposite, but there is a general experience system that pple refer to: Unexp: never played the game b4, only understands the very basics, assumes things that aren’t true, generally trolls or doesn’t pay attention to hosts or major roles. Semi exp: played the game for a while but either didn’t read the book or doesn’t understand the major roles and changes that happen between the books and games Exp: played the games, read the books, understands the minor and major difference (like having people come forward if they want a major role)

As a long term fan I found the game fun to run around as a 3d model of one of my ocs. The audience is extremely young even compared to the rest of the fandom so I didn’t really feel comfortable interacting with the other players too much. I think it’s a good game though.
i’ve been a player since beta and i honestly really love the game, but that may just be because of the amazing customization tools and how good it feels to just be in the world. i sometimes go on there just to hunt or run around, so maybe i’m biased because i like that feeling of freedom. however, there is something to be said about the community. it seems to be very divided between younger players who just want to be silly little kitties and older players who want an organized and experienced roleplay. if you search “types of wcue players” you’ll find tons of videos talking about younger players who are shouting at clan meetings for the leader to adopt them, as well as players who are shouting at them that they can’t name their warrior cat cinnamon’sparkle or whatever. it’s an attitude that’s always been in roleplay spaces, especially for warriors, and i don’t think it’s caused by the game itself. all in all, the game is fine and i like it a lot, but it can be hard to run on old computers due to the graphics and if you want an organized roleplay, you’d be better off doing so with friends or finding people in the discord server (which can still be just as difficult)
I'm ancient now on Roblox, I've been playing since 2014 so I've been around for a hot while. I used to play this one Warrior Cats RP game when it was still out and was made by the same people who made WCUE. The game wasn't as detailed because the game was made back in 2015 so the quality has definitely been amped up. I used to play (and occassionally do still) WCUE in it's development stages so I've seen a ton of changes, including the players... It's a strange feeling to look back when it was ONLY people who liked the books roleplaying as cats (OCs and Canon), now, a lot of the kids who play WCUE are kids who probably have no clue what the books are or if they read em, probably don't connect to them as much as older WC fans did. WCUE kinda sucks now, especially because (I saw another comment mention this too) a lot of players have no idea how to RP as an important cat such as a leader or medicine cat... 1 out of 10 leaders actually know what they're doing. A lot of people are more of spectators too, there's always one clan larger than the rest (you'd be lucky to get all four clans with cats), the hunting mode is way too slow so it makes RP-ing a lot more tedious, you gotta pay a ton of robux (which is in-game currency for the entirety of Roblox's platform) for accessories that are 50/50 on terms of how you use 'em... There was also controversy about the creators and just a bunch of nonsense... The UGC doesn't help the game's case either just because the game is really well made but then the UGC looks like the TPB trio is melting... :")

is it just me but did anyone else have a problem with how ulitmate edition does its clans? Because there is no size limit for a clan, the forest feels dead with only one or two clans in it and when each clan consists of 1-3 roleplays (and ofcourse the 20-30 people in the lobby/doing theyr own stuff) even clans might feel dead. Once in my life do I remember a gathering and never have I seen conflict between clans or heck even spoted a border/hunting patrol.
I think the limit of players that can be in a single server is a bigger factor there. You just *can’t* have enough players on the same server to fill out the population of all the clans. So people who want to rp clan cats are going to gravitate to whatever clan is already active.
That's been a problem in Roblox Warriors RP in general for ages. In the old days the max server size was 30 people, so things were even more limited. Most people just join one clan because that's where all the people are. Usually the other clans only have like 2-3 people. Having a roleplay with two equally sized clans was very rare (and now almost impossible in WCUE's current state).

Just that people always gravitate in the same clan because it’s hard trying to create the other four, mainly because people don’t want to wait and advertise in the chat for hours just hoping they’ll get people, and, that the majority of players actually have never read the books. With the current number of players in a server, you are actually more than able to have all 4 clans and even rogues loners and kittypets. It just matters if someone who’s experienced takes the role of starting it
Ive been playing the warriors roblox games since even before wcue. Before we use to have multiple, old forest territory, lake territory, skyclan, even oc clans! Now it seems to just be wcue that you can really get a go group together on. I have to play on mobile and it doesn't work on my phone anymore,but when i did play it it was alright. Like liked the designs and such. It just felt like it was harder to start a rp there then on older games. At least for me. Maybe i am feeling nostalgic for the old games fhdh But yeah, i didn't know it was connected to official sources 😭 which kinda makes it feel even wierder cause it gives even less of a small indie roblox game feel that the older games had. Which isn't bad i guess. Just,feels wierd as someone who remembers the old games and maps. Shout out to anyone who ever dealt with being called a "claw noob" on the old lake territory map 😂

I used to play the game in Beta when you had to purchase it for like '25 ROBUX'. It was great! Everyone was talented, literate, and mature. Now that it’s public... I haven’t played it since it got released. It runs rampant with racist 10 year olds who think it’s a regular cat roleplay game or people who are roleplaying as wolves/foxes/bears/dogs. Unfortunate.

While roblox accesories are *usually* low quality. I wouldnt be suprised if these were overpriced, as WC:UE usually overpriced *everything*. Most of this is user-error, they couldve at least... tried to be less shitty at the qaulity.

@@-Random101 savannah and bengal cats are both hybrids of domestic cats and wild cats- earlier generations that include more wild-cat blood are considered unsafe and even banned in certain countries due to how wild they are. more diluted generations are a little more safe, though they still act very wild. aka not the best breed to go out of your way to include in the game while focusing on cat health lmao . me personally I think they should just forget going out of their way to be realistic since they're kind of bad at it and instead focus on things that are in the books

As a WCUE player since alpha, The limited ugc quality don't surprise me. Wcue usually has events but they have bugs or you crash every second. The game is mid to an extent. They also have a ton of trollers. My bet is Squilf will be next! (also all the gamepasses are ungodly expensive)

I miss Mandaka's games so much! That's where I met my best friend nine years ago lol, we've both migrated through all of the WC warrior cats games as they were popular (Mandaka's, Zyphorx's, Vizavi's, etc.) and every now and then we go onto WCUE mostly to goof around. We don't interact too much with the people there (being 19 and 20 it feels slightly strange to try and make friends with actual children, we always end up feeling a bit old and out of touch whenever we reference SSSWarriorCats or something similar lol), but WCUE has amazing character customization tools, so it's perfect for making OCs, especially if you can't draw or don't feel like drawing.
It's true that a lot of people on there are a bit elitist, but it was the same even back in Mandaka's days of popularity. There are plenty of very nice people though, and I find that more often than not the inexperienced RPers are much nicer and come up with much better stories than the "EXP" crowd, who all tend to be a bit exclusatory and rude. It's a really fun game even just to watch other people RP and interact, lol

As someone who was a young warrior cats fan, and someone who played wcue for a year or two straight, I’ll say… the game is kind of insufferable unless you have friends or get lucky in a good server. The fact that it’s become a staple to put an apostrophe between the prefix and suffix of an oc’s name - for example - really peeves me. Though I don’t wanna yuck people’s yum. At least that’s me - I’m a more serious Roblox player. The game is well made, but technically not optimized at all either, and in many cases runs poorly. Looks pretty, but actual coding is.. ok. Not to mention the devs are iffy so I don’t support the game anymore, and frankly regret spending all the robux I did. I don’t play much anymore, I’m looking forward to other warrior games in development. Though, wcue was a pillar in developing my warrior cats characters, so I don’t take it exactly for granted.

Also, all of them are just copy-pasted. They do not have different tail positions or shapes or any extras. They made one base model and then just hastily added and sculpted the rest. For a game that makes as much money as WCUE and could hire quality people, this is insulting to the players/fans and I'm baffled how Coolabi gave the okay to this.
for those looking for good RP on wcue , the experienced/older roleplayers tend to be a part of Long Term roleplays -- essentially these are roleplays with their own lore and community, run by wcue users on their own discord servers and using a wcue private server, and are often advertised on wcue's discord.
I've been part of one for almost a year now and I won't even try to attempt public server RP now.

If I had to guess, the Roblox minis were made by someone who has little to no experience making Roblox UGCs (or 3D modeling in general) and/or was on a very tight deadline. I don't blame them.
More than likely when it comes to things like this the people that actually worked on creating them were probably pressured by a ridiculous deadline. Rarely do designers for companies actually have the freedom to design something the way they actually want to. I've seen that kind of issue even with massive companies much larger than WC. What ends up happening is that there's a head that will tell the designers to go ahead and start working on the product, only for them at one point to decide its taking too long and to severely cut down on the amount of time they actually have to do so. All while wanting to cut costs and unfortunately destroying the creativity of the actual designers.
There's also the possibility that the original designer for these models had to stop for whatever reason and the responsibility was moved to another one that had to rush it or didn't have the passion for it.
A lot of the time when it comes to design issues in games like this (especially in what I see in Ravenpaw's eyes) it has to do with budget cuts, the pressure of being suddenly told you have less time than originally believed, or a transfer of responsibilities.
I`m an official CC(although I haven't made a video on it in a while) and tester, so it's a pleasant surprise to see our community get a spotlight on the bigger side of Warriors YT. Would love to see your input on it! I`ve been playing WC:UE since 2020, roughly 4 years ago now. Tell you what, the community around it hasn't quite changed. There's always been a shadow of toxicity around it, especially recently with gatekeeping and ableism(
bullying is definitely a problem in the game. i see so many people saying "ugh those people who don't know how to roleplay are so annoying!" but like.... it's a roblox game. for little kids. to play and have fun on. pretend to be a little kitty cat. if you want a serious roleplay, then you can just organize a group of people for it, you can play on a private server if it suits you best. and yeah the gatekeeping as well sucks. (and its not like i dont understand their frustration, i hate it when im trying to relax and roleplay but some rando comes up pretending to be a fox and saying "can i attack u" over and over LOLL. i just think some people take it too far.)
but overall i this it's a very cute game, I don't play roblox much in general but i log into it every now n then to see what's up on wcue :3

I can explain Firestars colouring. In the game , if you go to the pink room in the kitty pet house is where Firestar is. If he was bright orange he wouldn't look nice in the room so that would make him more appealing if he was pastel. (Ok now I am begging to speak gibberish dude)

Off topic, I would love for you or somebody to make a video on the warriors timeline particularly discussing the length of time between DotC and TPB. For example, how does nobody remember skyclan??? In cloudstars journey, the thunderclan leader is Redstar. To our knowledge, redstar is succeeded by Oakstar. Who ofc is the leader during mapleshades life. I can excuse the lack of skyclan being remembered in that novella because obviously the only plot points are the ones relevant to mapleshades breakdown. But after Oakstar, there’s only Doestar and then Pinestar??? So literally how tf does the timeline work. How fast do clan traditions emerge?
As someone who grew up on warriors, I’ve fallen in and out of the fandom and jumped across lots of different accounts but for the past twelve years I somehow always end up back to binging your videos. Old forest territory! That’s where viz started, that was their game. A lot of fun memories. Now, we look at WCUE and the devs and learn their horrible people. It REALLY disgusts me how the game is “official” now when said people deserve none of that recognition or success. I still to this day regret having spent real money on it when I don’t even play and never will. I’ll happily wait for Lake Territory Reborn. I’m in their discord server and the game so far looks much better than WCUE and is actually being built by fans of the series

wrt wcue, i used to play it a bit, and it’s a well-made game, but i fell off pretty hard after the way they reacted to native american fans expressing discomfort with ear feathers. people were being banned from the discord for discussing the accessory, but people who were being actually racist were given a pass. it was rough. (in the end they did remove the ear feather, but they added a recolorable leaf that can be made to look like feathers anyway. whatever)
i kind of get the impression that they’re really reliant on their lead programmer, so the rest of the team isn’t willing to push back against him too hard, because if he gets annoyed and leaves they’d be in a lot of trouble.

I still play on WCUE pretty often, and even though it is rare to find a good roleplay were the people actually know anything about the books, or how the roles work, It is still fun to play on even so. It's especially fun when there are new comers that don't know anything about the book series, or that it is even about a book series, and I get to teach them about it. It may not be the same game it was years ago but when you're playing with friends I still tend to enjoy it. People can be rude sometimes, but nothing is stopping anyone from finding a different server. I still find the events fun, and I've met a good handful of really nice folks on there, overall In my opinion I still think WCUE can be fun with the right mindset

Generally not everyone who plays the game reads the books, if anything the opposite, but there is a general experience system that pple refer to:
Unexp: never played the game b4, only understands the very basics, assumes things that aren’t true, generally trolls or doesn’t pay attention to hosts or major roles.
Semi exp: played the game for a while but either didn’t read the book or doesn’t understand the major roles and changes that happen between the books and games
Exp: played the games, read the books, understands the minor and major difference (like having people come forward if they want a major role)

As a long term fan I found the game fun to run around as a 3d model of one of my ocs. The audience is extremely young even compared to the rest of the fandom so I didn’t really feel comfortable interacting with the other players too much. I think it’s a good game though.
With how certain.. developers.. on wcue act i wouldnt be surpised if the people who made these was paid with a go fish card and some spare lint
I’m with you, I’ve never played Roblox (and don’t really plan to).
i’ve been a player since beta and i honestly really love the game, but that may just be because of the amazing customization tools and how good it feels to just be in the world. i sometimes go on there just to hunt or run around, so maybe i’m biased because i like that feeling of freedom.
however, there is something to be said about the community. it seems to be very divided between younger players who just want to be silly little kitties and older players who want an organized and experienced roleplay. if you search “types of wcue players” you’ll find tons of videos talking about younger players who are shouting at clan meetings for the leader to adopt them, as well as players who are shouting at them that they can’t name their warrior cat cinnamon’sparkle or whatever. it’s an attitude that’s always been in roleplay spaces, especially for warriors, and i don’t think it’s caused by the game itself.
all in all, the game is fine and i like it a lot, but it can be hard to run on old computers due to the graphics and if you want an organized roleplay, you’d be better off doing so with friends or finding people in the discord server (which can still be just as difficult)

I'm ancient now on Roblox, I've been playing since 2014 so I've been around for a hot while. I used to play this one Warrior Cats RP game when it was still out and was made by the same people who made WCUE. The game wasn't as detailed because the game was made back in 2015 so the quality has definitely been amped up. I used to play (and occassionally do still) WCUE in it's development stages so I've seen a ton of changes, including the players... It's a strange feeling to look back when it was ONLY people who liked the books roleplaying as cats (OCs and Canon), now, a lot of the kids who play WCUE are kids who probably have no clue what the books are or if they read em, probably don't connect to them as much as older WC fans did.
WCUE kinda sucks now, especially because (I saw another comment mention this too) a lot of players have no idea how to RP as an important cat such as a leader or medicine cat... 1 out of 10 leaders actually know what they're doing. A lot of people are more of spectators too, there's always one clan larger than the rest (you'd be lucky to get all four clans with cats), the hunting mode is way too slow so it makes RP-ing a lot more tedious, you gotta pay a ton of robux (which is in-game currency for the entirety of Roblox's platform) for accessories that are 50/50 on terms of how you use 'em... There was also controversy about the creators and just a bunch of nonsense... The UGC doesn't help the game's case either just because the game is really well made but then the UGC looks like the TPB trio is melting... :")

is it just me but did anyone else have a problem with how ulitmate edition does its clans?
Because there is no size limit for a clan, the forest feels dead with only one or two clans in it and when each clan consists of 1-3 roleplays (and ofcourse the 20-30 people in the lobby/doing theyr own stuff) even clans might feel dead. Once in my life do I remember a gathering and never have I seen conflict between clans or heck even spoted a border/hunting patrol.
Probs cuz most of the wcue community have never read the books and making a new clan rp is a pain

I think the limit of players that can be in a single server is a bigger factor there. You just *can’t* have enough players on the same server to fill out the population of all the clans. So people who want to rp clan cats are going to gravitate to whatever clan is already active.
That's been a problem in Roblox Warriors RP in general for ages. In the old days the max server size was 30 people, so things were even more limited. Most people just join one clan because that's where all the people are. Usually the other clans only have like 2-3 people. Having a roleplay with two equally sized clans was very rare (and now almost impossible in WCUE's current state).

Just that people always gravitate in the same clan because it’s hard trying to create the other four, mainly because people don’t want to wait and advertise in the chat for hours just hoping they’ll get people, and, that the majority of players actually have never read the books. With the current number of players in a server, you are actually more than able to have all 4 clans and even rogues loners and kittypets. It just matters if someone who’s experienced takes the role of starting it

Ive been playing the warriors roblox games since even before wcue.
Before we use to have multiple, old forest territory, lake territory, skyclan, even oc clans!
Now it seems to just be wcue that you can really get a go group together on.
I have to play on mobile and it doesn't work on my phone anymore,but when i did play it it was alright. Like liked the designs and such.
It just felt like it was harder to start a rp there then on older games. At least for me.
Maybe i am feeling nostalgic for the old games fhdh
But yeah, i didn't know it was connected to official sources 😭 which kinda makes it feel even wierder cause it gives even less of a small indie roblox game feel that the older games had. Which isn't bad i guess. Just,feels wierd as someone who remembers the old games and maps.

I used to play the game in Beta when you had to purchase it for like '25 ROBUX'. It was great! Everyone was talented, literate, and mature. Now that it’s public... I haven’t played it since it got released. It runs rampant with racist 10 year olds who think it’s a regular cat roleplay game or people who are roleplaying as wolves/foxes/bears/dogs. Unfortunate.

was questioning why you would ever buy these on roblox until i looked at the prices for the actual minis in comparison to the roblox prices (the roblox ones are like 6 bucks and the actual mini sets are around 35 dollars) and went yeah that makes sense actually
The minis in roblox are ~75 cents worth

I miss when kids could be kids on roblox…Now if they get in a roleplay game and play wrong grown adults go off on them. It’s such a gross space. It’s a game, with cats on a KIDS website. It’s not a “platform” that’s just what people over roblox said because they keep getting caught doing super sus stuff with minors on the site. 🙃
While roblox accesories are *usually* low quality. I wouldnt be suprised if these were overpriced, as WC:UE usually overpriced *everything*. Most of this is user-error, they couldve at least... tried to be less shitty at the qaulity.
