Literally can't even wake up before Paul already has an hour on the new balance sheets. I've slowly been building up a list that I called Lion El'Jonson's Bookclub, you'll never guess my thoughts on the new Space Marine detachment.
So excited for sternguard and heavy intercessors. Edit: Anvil seige force with the stratagem that lets you get sustained hits on a 5+ when remained stationary. Imagine a 10 man of sternguard. Target the oath. Plus 1 to hit, full re-roll. 5s and 6s are sustained hits. Plus 1 to wound, 4+ are devs with combi, regular devs with bolters. Full re-roll to fish for devs.
The Triumph of Saint Katherine change made it so that instead of getting an extra 6 at the beginning of the battle round, instead the 1 per battle round you get is a 6. So under the old rules you would get a 3 Miracle Dice per battle round (1 each turn plus 1 from Triumph) and now you just one. The Miracle Dice nerfs are beyond ridiculous.
GW tried to diddle Lord Solar, they ended up overshooting and diddling Super Heavies instead... now they are considerably worse without the +1 to hit from him, now nothing, army nor detachment wise interact with them. That sucks.
Tyranids assimilation swarm is looking really scary. No longer stuck to objectives to do the rule? Norn get the keyword? Terrifying. Two norn assimilators paired up are just borderline immortal
Same, Baneblades got screwed indirectly, now nothing interacts with them at all. I hope at the very least points drops next MFM or riot, or, a way to buff them on the Codex tank detachment (i doubt it though, since in 9th they pretty much excluded them from everything too)

Better off using the new Psyker detachment. Get anti vehicle 5 on sternguard.
Though with Dorn Commanders being a thing, I hope Paul faces 6 Rogal Dorns in a single List.

Yeah that looks wild! I'm happy to see more detachments getting a look in though.

Replace the Baneblades in your list with a Beyblade and you'll definitely win.

@Darkja baneblades have been getting sideswipe nerved all 10th edition. First was all the titanic nerfs knights caused it lol
