Some of this is kind of "Ouchy" to know. Thank the Lord that He has answered my prayer that I would know my vices. Amen. Can't work on a vice if there isn't a knowledge of a lack of it. Thank you Fr. Ripperger. (Long-an-im-i-ty)

"People who study psychology do so because they aren't ardeous enough to study something hard like medicine", damn, FR Ripperger really toasted me. To be fair, I graduated highschool with honors and had an almost perfect 10 at my bacalaureat. Now looking back I can understand that I choose psychology because I felt this need to understand the trials and turbulences I always faced in my life. I wasn't one of those people thinking I am better off studying myself psychology than go to a therapist. I just wanted to understand people and understand myself. And I am glad I did!
I fully understand you, and this comment also touched me. I studied Psychology after a couple of years of reflection, and there could have been no other better profession for me.
Im not sure I agree. Psychology now academically is just bad science. Ive only taken Psychology 101 in college but as a catholic it is just completely overtaken by modernism and athiests.

I was sent to multiple psychologists from the age of 9. It messed me up for the reasons mentioned.. liberal, atheist or woo woo spiritual. The first silver lining was finding objectivism and from there Catholicism.

These days, I'm not sure its a good idea to give up meat for Lent. The grains are all GMO. I was a vegetarian most of my life, and strict vegan when young. I'm keto/carnivore now and against all odds got my health back (decades into Lyme). These GMO grains are no good. I learned the hard way. Something is wrong with the food now.

Ironic we never got credit cards ...we never got those things and now we cant get credit because we dont have credit ...i wish i had the opportunity to get in debt ...wouldnt we have had a time with nice things lol...we still just live paycheck to paycheck in this economy...sad ...
