If Fr. Ripperger wasn’t there, it would’ve drastically affected my faith. Whatever good resolutions you take for Jesus don’t not back off even if you fail all the time it makes a difference. Imagine if Fr. Ripperger got discouraged,
all our faith would’ve been at stake, a good part if it.
Never underestimate the benevolence of God

I think a loss of Faith shows in how people dress for Sunday Mass. You see prots at some of the TV megachurch (Adrian Rodgers, Charles Stanley) services very well dressed. Maybe the Catholics are more blue-collar folk, (where I live anyway) I dunno. It's disgraceful, but slobwear is everywhere too, you wonder if people even own dress clothes. Thank you Father, said a decade for your Penanceware requirement.

Faith - if corrupted, how does one make amends to to heal it? In other words how can it be restored if one sins against it. Also how does one sin against Faith?
By praying acts of faith. The easiest is "Jesus, I trust in You."

I'll be honest, I'm freaking out right now. Not only was I a fallen away catholic who has said many regrettable things and (while not being explicitly admonished of heresy) adopted heretical beliefs, but also in the process of reversion, got caught up in examining sedevacantism (and was greatly confused on what is heresy and what isn't due to things being on the internet). I intend faithfulness to all Church teachings now, but have I lost the gift of faith and can I regain it?
If you repented and confessed you restored it.
Seek out a solid priest. Attain the sacraments. God is bringing you back in. How do I know? Because your story mirrors mine.

Yes. You need the supernatural virtue of faith to be saved. Its a gift and not natural faith. You definitely would need to be in a state of grace.

I think he means Orthodox Catholics who worship using the tridenten mass.
Maybe he talks about sedevacantists for example.
It seems to me Father is specifically talking about noncatholic worship EVEN IF ITS celebrated in the Tridentine Rite (Extraordinary Form). Hence why after he talks about participating in schismatic worship and how it displeases God.

You can not work your way into salvation.Jesus said the path is straight and narrow. Because HE is the only way. Only by believing what He did for your sins on the cross. Are you saved by faith through grace. No man can forgive your sins no matter his title. Only God can forgive sins. When you teach your congregation that they can earn salvation. Than you are antichrist. You are stepping over his broken and bloody body and saying, " this isn't enough. Now I must do more for myself" If a church doesn't have members with spiritual gifts than the Holy Spirit is not in that church. You should have a healer, a prophet, spiritual discernment. Casting out demons is only 1 spiritual gift. Jesus said we would do things even greater than He. But only with God's Holy Spirit. Catholicism is one of those anti-christ denominations. That removes the diety of Christ. And Peter was Simon's surname. Not the name Jesus changed it to. Cephas means rock and that's what Jesus changed Peter's name to. When the bibke was first printed do you know how many priests were burned at the stake for realizing the truth of Roman Catholicism. With pruests amd congregation members were burned alive.
