such an old video but still the explanation was fantastic and the voice was very clear, video quality is down but it's ok considering the time of release , thanks to the whole team and specially duggal sir
Thanks Video Once question for U Measurement of Alkalinity as total CaCO3, and Determination of hardness of water as total Ca2+ concentration What's difference both of methods above. Thanks
Laboratory Safety and titration technique? May be OK for laboratory technicians. Certainly not OK for learning, understanding and application purposes. Example, the effect of pH on carbonate species would help explain why OH- can coexist with CO3- but not with HCO3-.
The possibility of OH-and HCO3-ions together is not possible since they combine together to form CO32-ions. OH+ HCO3=> CO32+ H2O Hope u got your answer after 2 years XD
Thank u sir for working as catalyst in learning this experiment

Sodium With water_ Testing the Alkalinity change/ Phenolphthalein test/ pH paper test/ Indicator - UA-cam
What is meant by alkalinity
See alkalinity is due to d presence of 3 major ions oh- co3 2- and hco3-
It depends on ph
