32 years clean from coke and heroine ,every day gets easier
20+ years drinking. Cried to God at around 3-4am while binging. Opened my bible and placed it on my chest while the tears rolled down my face. Woke up and never drank again. 4 years sober now. Thank you Jesus for breaking those dark chains.

I too am struggling with addiction to cigarettes. But, I finally confessed to God that I can't quit. I prayed for Him to remove the desire and I believe He will. God bless you brother.

Hey there brother, saw your comment and I just wanted to let you know that my husband is one year sober from porn addiction and three years free of tobacco addiction. He struggled with both for about 30 years. Nearly all his life. God has truly set him free! I am praying the same for you. You will have victory through Christ!
I had addictions galore. One by one they have been removed. It’s harder for some of us than it is for others though so don’t get discouraged friend
He will. The desire will vanish in time, but the temptation may always be there. You can do it through Him. Always admit to Him you’re struggling.
I was having a really hard time with that myself I have been saved for two years and I had seen God take it from other people but he was not taking it from me 2 months ago I asked God instead of helping me to take it from me now that's the only difference I think I could think of in my prayer the very next day I went to light up a cigarette and I said oh I prayed about this last night in my head I need to put this out I started having really bad pain afterwards and went into the hospital I thought I was dying my gallbladder was going out after 5days in the hospital I was ahead of the game and stopped smoking 🤣 God knows what it takes try to quit it will happen one way or another lol I'm thankful and feel great!
I listened to Korn in my youth and I'm so glad that head turned himself around through the power of Christ. God bless you brother and keep your head up.

Sanctification is a process. The way you really know is that your desires will start to change, and will come under strong conviction over sin. God bless you!

For example, I focus on Islam. I can not debate Atheists. With Muslims I know how to pique their interest.
I remember listening to Korn when I was younger. I'm a Christian minister at the age of 34 today, for which I give God thanks... I'm grateful that God has brought this man out of the pit. Looks like He doesn't leave anyone behind.
Well, when Christ bore that cross knowing it was going to lead to his death... not a single person of their own merits was worthy and not one of us would be able to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. So when Yeshua shed his blood to conquer both sin and death, if there was even the smallest or minute amount of hope to save at least just one single soul... and considering none of us are worthy... could it also be possible that that miniscule bit of hope would be enough to save all souls? This isn't to say that everyone will be save because many will blatantly refuse him and there is no turning back from that once it is too late, but the potential for all to be save is there and that potential even as small as it is, because it comes from God himself, it is infinite it is grace, glory and power through both love and truth. Even the worst of us... including people like "hitler" personally I could bare to see them end up in hell... I don't want to see any human there!

rossikhan~ 🕊in 1998, I went to pick my 13 year old daughter up at her friends house, and I could hear they were playing korn on cds from outside. I went in and said who’s torturing that poor man? They said, it’s korn, they were abused by their mother when they were young, so they sing like this. I said, if God can use Joyce Meyers after her father abused her, then God can use a these men. So I started praying for them. Needless to say, In 2018, I cried when I saw Brian, here at Christ’s temple giving his testimony. What a reward, I’m still praying for many others. God bless your ministry!🙏🏼

20 years ago I was a broken Christian addicted to meth. I went to a church camp high on meth and weed, desperate to get help. I was destroyed as a human being. God met me there at an alter call. I physically felt the wind of the Spirit. Then I was taken back to a painful childhood situation, like I was there and reliving it. Then when I was there, I heard God speak to me as that little boy and what he spoke somehow delivered me. I physically screamed and felt something leave my body. God delivered me from addiction and healed my underlying brokenness, which was rejection. I think the feeling of something leaving could have been a demon of rejection that had attached to that part of me. I have been a youth worker for 15 years, both for church and secular organisations, and I can say meth is one of the worst things destroying our young people and our communities . God bless

The bible says God laughs at the wicked. He's not laughing at the struggles especially of those that will come to Him. Because He knows them and is waiting patiently, guarding their souls. Look at Abraham when he lied to Pharaoh and Abimilech. The Lord let him stumble but had his back.

i can testify to this.....when i prayed to be released from my addictions jesus took the weight off of me almost instantly, i was able to quit alcohol and social media cold turkey with a single prayer itll be 6 years in october with no desire to drink again ....John 3:16

Sober a few years now! I’m so proud of myself but without God I wouldn’t be here.
[EDIT] admitted myself to the hospital and have been for 7 days now. Getting out tomorrow and am fully detoxes off of alcohol thankfully! Praise God. “ i just don’t want to wake up when i go to sleep “. That really hit me. Recovering IV meth and heroin user, so blessed to be free from that, but I’m currently struggling with alcohol. I'm a recovering IV heroin and coke addict(and whatever else I could get my hands on). I've been where you are. I got to such a horrible point in my life I just surrendered to God. Told him I'd do whatever He wanted just make me better. Long story short, get a bible and start reading the gospel (new testament Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). Pray before you read that God will help you to understand what you need/spiritual discernment. It's amazing what He will reveal to you. I'll pray for you. You can be joyous and content through the fruits of His spirit.

I've watched tons of interviews with Brian "Head" Welch over the years. They're all fantastic and quite moving. Despite being a rock star, he's extremely relatable, funny, and charming. I was close with the Lord as a kid
Oh my I had such love for him until I turned 15 or 16 I rebelled I was so mean to my mom also
Then I turned into my twenties .. it got worse I was becoming a new age hippy got into Wicca met two aliens and reptilians scary shit ever would feel evil presesence in my closet watching me for a long time even when I closed the closet curtain they still stayed and listened to me. Some reason I always had my door closed I was afraid yet I allowed myself to stay afaird I would have sleep paralysis a lot I felt two demon spirits trying to attack me I started saying Jesus help me inside my head it was terrifying!!!
I also heard two ghost children spirit laugh behind me as it was in the am why would children laugh and why would it sound like it's near my ears ? And I felt a dark presence close to my hospital bed too when that happened
I became depressed there's this one dude I met he was extremely attractive and made me feel alive again but he broke my heart where my depression worsened I became scene /emo as I was in middle school but in middle school I was like such a happy emo/scene chick but after as an adult and got my heart broken I became that but felt like poop.
Thankfully God saved me though
I am a Christian now and I love reading the Bible he has changed my wardrobe everything for the better

I'm an alcoholic. And a veteran. I've been drinking my life away. I just want a way out. I know Jesus is the way and the light. I believe that. I don't know how to relinquish control. I hurt every day.
First of all, thank you for your service. I would suggest (that’s all this is, a suggestion) if you’re comfortable with it, go to church. Even if you just arrive after the service starts and plonk yourself at the back. Just go. Be around these people. The love and acceptance you will experience was what helped me take that first step. And there are so many options open to you. I’m a Brit currently in Fort Worth Tx and I was so shocked to find BIKER CHURCHES! ☺️💚 huge scary looking hairy dudes on Harley’s, praising in the name of Jesus. I personally am a skateboarder, covered in tattoos. Long hair. None of us have to look act or be a certain way to accept Jesus into your heart. You don’t have to throw yourself into anything. It’s not a sudden and drastic change if you don’t want it to be. You can and WILL find your own way.

I fought asking Jesus to enter my heart my whole life. One night when I was 62 I decided, what will it hurt. My pride made asking him to be my savior very difficult. But I finally did it anyhow.
Pretty much immediately I just felt different and I knew I might be changed. Very shortly after that I knew I was changed. I love it. It's like I opened my eyes and saw reality for the first time.

Nothing could get me sober from cocaine and booze. For years I tried the New Age movement, Buddhism, Hinduism, Paganism, Islam but nothing worked and my addictions got worse. Then I left my wife, got fired and lived in my car. I contemplated suicide but it was my sister who one cold night in February 2011 reached out to me. I had barely any gas in my car but I drove to her home, ate dinner and hung out with the idea of drinking all her husband's beer. She gave me a Bible and said read Psalm 51 right there in her livingroom. I got to the 4 verse and I just broke down and wept. She told me to keep reading and I wept through the entire chapter. A week later I accepted Christ into my life, I've been drug and alcohol free for over 10 years. It's been an amazing journey. I urge you to accept Christ into your heart today if you haven't already. Never the same. Blessings.

Those people had a chance to REPENT brother, they wasted every chance they had, Noah warned them.God also promised to not destroy life again on Earth. Jesus Christ died on the cross just so we can get to Heaven brother. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only way.

This is my personal testimony.
I used to believe that I was super a strong lady, super smart, and capable of taking care of myself, and even though I have always been a believer, my faith in God wasn't as strong as it was in myself.
Two years ago I had a serious personal problem with my family, without going into details; at that point, my family was my God, they were the reason I live for, in other words, my "EVERYTHING", but due to the issue with them one day they ALL, everybody abandoned me, over the night... I was left without anything and anyone to talk to. Months passed by, on which I couldn't sleep, lost my appetite, and also my will to live. I pretended for a while that I was fine cus I was full of pride so I couldn’t admit that this time I wasn’t gonna be able to fix myself…until I couldn't take it any longer.
One night when the pain was unbearable, and desperation took over me, finally, I realized that I couldn’t keep living that way, so I started planning how to kill myself, I gave some thoughts to the idea because I wanted it to be effective and final, I needed to stop the pain but before I did it I got on my knee, very angry with God, at 3 something am, I screamed to God "IF YOU CARE ABOUT ME, DO SOMETHING BECAUSE I CAN'T DO THIS ANY LONGER!!!, I AM A GOOD PERSON AND YOU KNOW IT!!!
I CAN'T TAKE THIS PAIN ANY LONGER!!! I DON'T WANT THIS LIFE ANYMORE!!, IF YOU DON'T DO SOMETHING I AM!!!
IF YOU SAVE ME I PROMISE I WILL DEDICATE THE REST OF MY LIFE TO YOU!!!”
After this, all I remember comes to me like a flashback, I swear, I don't know how I got back to my bed( my last memory was been in my knee by my bed). Later on( I am not sure how long it passed), on this flashback I opened my eyes for a second and my room was full of extraordinary light, so strong I couldn't keep my eyes open, I was in a fetal position on my bed(I didn't need to see Jesus face because the love and peace that overcame me, that fulfilled my inner being was screaming his presence).
I woke up at 10:35am as A TOTAL NEW PERSON, I felt like I have lost a heavyweight I was carrying on, I was radiant, hungry, happy, and full of hopes and plans for my life... Jesus saved me! he cleans my spirit from evil desires OVER THE NIGHT! just the way my family forsakes me. I have been wanting to give my testimony for almost 2 years, I guess the Lord decided that today was the day, God is REAL people, He is, and all we have to do is to redeem ourselves to Him and ask for His help, He is waiting for us to do so, this is mentioned in the Bible on Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
We don't have to suffer alone, Jesus died for us, so we can live an abundant and long life.
To the Lord be the glory!

God/Jesus/The Holy spirit saved me in 2016 while i was in the hospital after my 3rd suicide attempt. God takes the most broken, the most damaged, the most lowly seeming people from their lowest point. He lifts them up, he forgives, he cleanses, he proves his mighty power in working with us broken lowly people. Hes real, Jesus is Real, The holy ghost is real. And Jesus will reclaim his people when the time comes

Jesus makes sense of everything. Jesus loved us to the end.
Jesus makes zero sense. People call his supposed death a "sacrifice", yet he ascended back to heaven afterwards. That's not a sacrifice, that's a bad weekend. A real sacrifice would be him going to hell for all eternity for humanity's sins, not him being nailed to some sticks, bleeding out and dying, then going merrily back to heaven to rule over the cosmos.
