Some of the most notable celebrities that have turned their back on the entertainment industry in order to get closer to God include Rick Moranis, Cat Stevens, Chris Tucker, and Kirk Cameron. Rick Moranis left Hollywood after the death of his wife in 1991, feeling that the industry was no place for him to raise his two kids as a single dad. Instead, Rick decided to dedicate his time to finding God. Cat Stevens had a near-death experience that saw the folk singer almost drown in 1976, and he subsequently became a man more interested in his faith than his musical career. Cat has since changed his name to Yusuf Islam and does most of his musical performances nowadays for religious charities.
Chris Tucker is a stand-up comedian who rose to mainstream prominence thanks to his breakout role in the 1995 comedy Friday. However, a religious awakening only a few years later has made Chris decide to only work sporadically in the industry since. Meanwhile, Kirk Cameron has dedicated his life to making faith-based movies since his own religious awakening during his years working on the hit sitcom Growing Pains. I remember praying for Angus, whenever I happened to be around when someone was watching that show. When he was younger, I prayed for protection and against corruption. When he was older, I could tell he wasn't happy. Then I found out he wasn't, and I prayed for a way for him to leave. I hope he finds a strong, stability in the Lord.

Rick Moranis has also appeared in a number of projects with his counterpart Dave Thomas, and now that his kids have grown, seems to be dabbling in other entertainment projects. It's so admirable how much he loves his children, wanting them to have their formative years with him and not just being pawned off on nannies. A real man right there.

Dear God! Why me! I literally can’t take it anymore. Please pray for me. I’m feeling so lost. I lost my job over declining the vaccine I declined due to my pre existing health conditions lupus and heart disease. Since losing my job I have been having a hard time providing for my two children. Both of my boys are autistic and non verbal. So taking care of them is a little more stressful. I was so depressed until I found God. My faith in God he has carried me through these trying time even as I face homelessness. I’m so thankful for God. He will provide for me and my children abundantly. Thank you Heavenly Father. I Have Faith!

Another person was singer, actress Vanity. Her real name was Debbie Matthews. She left Hollywood & the music industry to become a full time evangelist. She passed away 6 years ago, but was serving the Lord all the way up until the time of her death.

I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus. YOU'D HAVE TO AGREE with Paul, who said in Romans 5:13, "Where there is no (Old Covenant) law, sin is not taken into account." This of course means that salvation was only needed by those who had sin taken into account, which is not us today.
YOU'D ALSO HAVE TO AGREE with Hebrews 9:15, that redemption was only needed by those who sinned under the first covenant, which again...is not us today.
THE BITTER PILL OF TRUTH is that nobody has been saved nor redeemed for nearly two thousand years. The "church today" has been in a massive error; a complete hijacking of ancient Israel's exclusive and fulfilled redemptive narrative, the Bible.

I think religion is important but family is more important and doing by what you can to take care of them. If I had kids to take care of and still believed in God (which I don't anymore) then I would definitely get a job (that is legal) and isn't "accepted by god" if I had to. One reason I no longer like people who are extremely devoted to religion (people who bring it up in every conversation and force it upon others) is because the majority of my friends are part of the LGBTQ+ community and even thought in the Bible gay marriages and relationships are accepted those super religious people misinterpret it and think that anyone who isn't straight should be converted. And it's not ok.

I am most pleased in their choices to go deeper in their faith and walk with God. It shows their is real that they just don't go through the motions but, have no real faith. As we heard at church just this past Sunday as the gospel reading proclaimed taught about the fishermen leaving everything behind to follow Jesus that to be a real follower of Jesus one has to let go and leave behind everything that hinders one from following Jesus.
I made that choose in high school I was not apart of the party crowd, or the sex scene that was going on in our High School at the time. And, choose to remain faithful to my Catholic Christian faith. Much to my surprise there was ones of the party scene who respected me for the choices I made even telling me straight out they wish they could make that choice in their life but, they couldn't. There was a group of bullies in school that picked on me, till one of them just happened to attend noon mass from school during our lunch period with his Catholic Girlfriend. When he turned around and saw me coming in the church door he should have left his bottom jaw hit the floor and he left sometime during Mass because, he was no where around when I came back from communion. I don't know what he told the other buddies but, that afternoon gym class and other classes together they never caused me trouble again. They instead addressed me as Father Bob.
