Im in my senior year. I was supposed to have go to parties, and football games, hang out with friends 24/7, and date. I was looking forward to prom which i didnt get last year and wont get this year and my graduation is going to be crap. Now i look forward to going to work, and doing full glam. But im alive and healthy so im grateful for that

I graduated in '19, before covid. I really feel for the classes of 2020 & 2021. Y'all worked so hard for so many years and it sucks seeing y'all not get to celebrate all your hard work.
(Class of 2020) Personally I wasn’t going to prom and was glad that my graduation time was cut in half because it’s not the type of stuff I’m excited about but my friends were so depressed and I felt so sad for them to miss out on that kind of stuff
Doing my makeup has been therapeutic during quarantine. In the first 2 months I did my makeup almost everyday just for the mood boost
I remember vehemently denying I had depression for close to decade. I had it my senior year of HS and it fucked so much up. But I was going off to college. I was cured. I felt better. My depression was gone. NOPE. I finally realized that it was not gone and I needed help because it was hurting every relationship I had. I started by going to get meds to quiet my mean voice. I call her Janice, basically just a Karen but with a different name. Over the last few years I've had meds adjusted and added and I've also been diagnosed, officially, with ADHD which has answered a lot of unasked questions about why I am the way I am and why I struggled or did what I did as a kid. Be proud of yourself for being so open and able to talk about it because it is hard. My depression has been worse these past few months because it's compounded: Regular + Pandemic + Seasonal and I love in Central Ohio where it's more overcast than Seattle which doesn't one bit. Thanks for being open online about it. Normalizing mental illnesses and neurodivergent people helps others so much. Thanks
Also I'm an Aries with ADHD. It has been A TIME and my husband has been my only audience. He's doing as best as he can but oh buddy it is hard on him lol
NE Ohio. I've been talking about getting a mood light for at least 10 years. Currently I'm either in front of the computer or on the couch. I am so far from my "usual" self.
@@ltgemini1599 I have a few friends who have them and they have said with continued use it helps. I know they're decently priced on Amazon. Also, are you able to talk a medical professional about getting meds or therapy? I'm sorry if you can't, for whatever reason. If you dont want to share, please don't feel obligated. Also, I grew up in NE OH. Relocated down to Central OH for college and then just ended up staying.
@@YouAreTheMusicInMe11 I look at and talk about a SAD lamp every year!! Having to turn lights on at 430 pm is not a good time. Turning the clocks back is also an off switch for me. Ive talked to a couple of therapist but never stuck with it and didn't really gel with them. I usually find myself on the couch when things go too far down the slide. Basically when I am a total mess. Living alone, working at home has its benefits and pitfalls.
This look is STUNNING!!! I got super into watching skincare and makeup UA-camrs over quarantine bc it's something I could invest in while staying in the house. For the first time in probably half a decade, I don't have any acne on my chin, and that's WITH wearing a mask regularly!! Your videos have been a huge light in this dark season so thank you thank you thank you for posting them!!

you can try growing edibles. it keeps me happy. Even in the winter here in scandinavia, the planning of what I need to do with growing food helps me in the dark winters.
I used to use OPI nail envy original, it worked but I went back to nail magic and WOW! . Apparently the formula changed from when I last used it at least ten years back and for me it's for the even better. A great tip I'll share is, when tip long enough just take nail magic over the free edge - basically it 'seals' the nails, I personally then seal the sides too once long enough. You have to try it and I will want a shout out when you are thrilled with your nails. It also gives strength but nail remains flexible which alot of strengtheners don't, instead they become brittle and crack. I'm not affiliated in anyway but I just can't keep this secret to myself as I know you love your natural nails. I am a trained manicurist btw

I love watching you, and I realize that I have been depress and couldn't shake it. I have not put on makeup since the covid, and only being in the house. feeling kind of blah. Quarantine was so tough on me too!! 😩 Once I pulled myself out of my funk doing my makeup and getting myself ready and all has definitely helped me so so much, makeup is my THERAPY
