I am so thrilled to see someone who admits to having way too much stuff. I've been crafting since my son was born 30 years ago. Since then, I have ventured into different kinds of crafts which required their own space. I converted my one car garage to a craft studio a couple of years ago. It was more than full when the room was finished. So two years later, I realized my happy place was less happy because of all of the "stuff". More is not better. We need to use what we have and pump the breaks on the compulsive craft shopping. I have unsubscribed from the monthly craft kits that I loved to get, but never use. I have unsubscribed to all of my favorite craft companies that keep me buying things I don't need and that I won't use. This is a lesson to new crafters. More is not better. It requires massive multiple storage units. We don't need more storage. We need less stuff.
LOL!!! No you're not alone.. I've had to quit buying things just to buy things because it's get crazy!! I organize and reorganize... LOL!! I think you're doing a fantastic job.. No rush, none of the stuff's going anywhere... Family first!!! 👍👍👍😁😁😁😁💗💗💗💗

Ashley I feel you with the over abundance of crafting stuff, my craft room is small bedroom that I turned into a craft room and I like to see my things and I have to really really down size or declutter but it it so hard for me because I have fibromyalgia and anxiety and depression issues. But I have been watching many videos for organizing craft rooms and getting ideas. I hope to be able to get it organized and start to craft which I love but right now Ohhhh my gosh it is too much. This gave me a step up because I am beginning the process of reorganizing my craft space and I am completely overwhelmed but using your videos for motivation lol.. I feel you girl! My dad had to move in with us for the last 7mths, taking over my crafty room so ALL my stuff had to (quickly) be tossed into boxes & totes then stacked into any knook n cranny we could cram it into. 😭 now that he’s into his new house I’m stuck in a rut not knowing how to even begin getting all of my crafting supplies sorted out & get my spare room transformed into a space I can call my crafty room 😭 it’s sooooo overwhelming when you basically have a mini Dollar Tree store of your own that you can’t make heads or tails of🤷🏼♀️
Everything is looking great!! I just did the same thing and got rid of a lot of stuff! Even if I lived to be 110 years old I would never have been able to craft through my stash🤪 you put things away and forget what you have then you buy more that’s what I was doing cuz everything was shoved in drawers cabinets and containers! But now I still have a good amount but it’s much better organized and I feel like I can get to things easier and be more productive! I’m gonna be having a yard sale soon so instead of having everything all over the table individually I bagged like items and priced them at like 5 for $4 which I think is a pretty good deal since it would cost $6.67 at DT if you can let me know if you think that’s a good idea? I always second guess myself! Lol but looking forward to seeing your progress of craft room and hopefully baby’s room! Thanks for sharing and your not alone
