Hi John, thanks for commenting. This is a really old video of mine. If you look at any of my recent videos, you will see, they have come a long way indeed.
+Mark Jones hey Mark thanks for taking the time to comment glad you're enjoying the lessons you can make a donation here joesguitarlessons.weebly.com/support---donate.html
Hey Joe, what you"re doing with that axe in your hands. Very good arrangement. I"ve worked a bit on it and I've found a full blast diminished chord to replace the "F shape" in the second part. from high to low it goes 2121(0) Sound good to me. Tell me what u think.
That's great jeanmichel, exactly what I'm trying to get across to people, in the lessons, think outside the box, have the confidence to develop your own ideas, It that sounds fine to my ears.
Hey, Joe. I've gone away and learnt this song using chords and now want to learn your finger picking way (as it's awesome) but I'm finding it difficult to follow which strings need picking by listening to the sounds alone. It would be a lot easier (for me) to grasp if you would mention which strings to pick. Just a little feedback for you, mate ;) Thanks for making these videos.
Sorry about that Twooms, it's always a bit of compromise. I tend to give priority to left hand for obvious reasons, also I try to encourage people to experiment with right hand, as I think this really develops the ears. However I appreciate that sometimes people need more, so they can get to grips with it. Ok so try this, play the fretted notes along with the some of the bass notes, for example at start G - Am -Bm start with the bass notes along with some of the chord notes. This kind of practice will do so much for your playing, honestly, when you have to root around to find out some of the things your not sure of, that's when you really learn something..If I get some time I will do a short piece on right hand. Hope that helps in some small way
Terrible Twooms Another thought is to stop the video after every 2-4 bars and try and get that, before moving on. A lot of it is self explanatory, and im sure if you break it down in this way you will get there. If you get stuck on something in particular let me know and I will try and help. I also do one to one lessons via Skype, should you be interested, however I only have limited time and get booked up pretty quickly. Anyway like I say im sure you will get there. Good luck.
Yes, I'm sure I will get it in due course. Trying to learn this is like when I listened to Blackbird (beatles) lessons and thought to myself "that sounds soo complicated, I'll never get it".. but I did in the end ;-)
The White Book has the third chord of the intro as a B chord, not an A . This is a special chord only played in the intro. It's a B chord played as a whole note.
Excellent rendition of tune good close ups. Need more info on individual string picking in some parts but never the less brilliant thanks Joe.

Excellent work. I do similar instrumentals "from the chords" on several Beatles tunes. If I fell works well. Thanks for improving my version.
Joe, great lesson and nice style. I wish you did more Beatles. How do I make a donation?

Can you show how you pick your strings not just the chords
